People buying foldables don't care about price man they care about getting the best
With that logic, why won't samsung increase the z fold price 10x or maybe 20x more? They'll get 10 to 20x more revenue without losing any significant customers because, you know, they just don't care about price, as long its the best of samsung

Ultra was the only thing we wanted.
Reason I went to the one plus open wider screen.. crease almost non existent better camaras and much more.. it's the phone the fold5 should of been .. waiting to see what Samsung does..
Enjoy no s pen, and buggy and more limited software.

@@Outrageousevil2010nah hes right. Software support is light years behind compared to samsung and thats very important. The experience is what they sell and samsung is the most polished at this point. Specs are nothing if they are not well integrated or polished. Foldables are beyond specs.

I have the S24 Ultra USA. Had it since pre-order. No problems except with the Adaptive and Basic battery protection features don't work. Submitted a ticket and developers said they are trying to fix it but its a known issue. Will be fixed in a furure software update. Just letting you know. This is my favorite RUclips leak channel by the way. Been watching since 2019.

Buy a OnePlus open. I went from z fold. No regrets. I also have a a 24 ultra and I don't use it because I'm always on my OnePlus open.

If the leaked mockup and spec's is the z fold 6 we are getting with a budget version then i think most people will be done with samsungs foldables i for one won't be getting it its a massive let down in my eyes i once switched from apple to Samsung because they was dearing andwas doing something apple wasn't and wasn't exited for apples new phones looks like samsung are repeating the same if these leaks are true and it's disappointing

@swigga69 bro, I'm being hyperbolic on the price, the point is that the sales for the current model aren't spectacular. Trying to shove an even more expensive model on consumers wouldn't do well. The yield would have to be low and ultimately become a waste of resources.
@@jdmz1103 the sales of the z fold 5 and foldables in general aren't spectacular because in specs the s23, 24 ultra are much better and they are a lot cheaper. If the z fold 6 would have the s24ultra camera's and a 5000 mah battery with a wider cover screen what people asking for, it will sell like hot cakes. A lot of s users would jump on the foldables... and just for the better camera's and a bit bigger battery samsung could sell it around 2000 or less. And make the z fold 6 1600. I bet more people who are into foldables would buy the ultra if the price is around 2000. It could be a good strategy from samsung, i swear.

I've been watching since they canceled the note series that I used to buy every two years for a true flagship and they keep watering it down those of us that are looking for the best cannot purchase the best if it's not the best! And what they feel to understand is that we are the ones that are out there that people look up to and when they see what we have they aspire to it this is how the company grows by people slowly stepping up and buying more and more expensive models as they grow the models they purchase grows as well I wasn't always able to purchase notes but a friend of mine had them He was a first in the neighborhood with it so it became a goal until I was able to purchase almost every model basically every two years because the innovation wasn't good enough every year for me to purchase it or upgrade!
If I was GIVEN a Galaxy Z Fold 6 I'd immediately sell it at a giveaway price. The sales figures also don't lie. The SIXTH generation of the Galaxy Z Fold is close to its launch date and foldable phones adoption rate is lower than that of the defunct Galaxy Note series. The litmus test would be if the FE edition was priced at $1200 and the specs weren't too inferior to a Galaxy S Ultra. Samsung would then have more info concerning the consumers opinion of these foldable phones.
@TechTalkTV I kind of figured there isn't gonna be a Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra. I kind of knew that from I heard the rumor first. The sound of a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra just sounds way too good to be true.

Well it looks like I'll be going with the Pixel Fold 2. I definitely want a wider screen. So until Samsung gives me a phone with the screen width, I guess I'll be going with someone else until Samsung shows me a phone worth coming back for!

My fold 1 was $1980 USD before tax. A limited ultra version one be really nice.
To be reasonable, a Fold 6 FE could make the Fold to reach more people hands, and make the Brand Name more powerful as a bigger market share. The people that want a Fold 6 Ultra, like me, are die hard fans of the Fold, so maybe they dont consider it bussiness.
I've considered buying a folding phone but I still worry about the longevity of the screen.

They need to know that people don't know what they want at one point people wanted smaller and smaller phones now people want bigger and bigger phones so stop making the size and issue and just make the technology make sense! They got a good prototype with the Samsung note ultra basically all they have to do is turn that into a foldable phone having two screens on the outside when folded and one giant screen on the inside with a pen inside it and a large battery for antennas like an iPhone so it can get good reception because a phone first of all needs to work and be dependable as a phone then naturally comes the cameras they have to be good at being a camera this note 20 that I have has problems focusing basic focusing is a problem I've never had a Samsung phone with this issue so if they make the basic stuff work exceptionally people will love it Good battery life a good pen good ability to charge and good cameras everything else is extra!

I am using the S24 Ultra. I will migrate to the Fold series when the S Pen can be stored inside the device and the outer screen is as large as the S24 Ultra's screen.
Don't care about the price. I want S-pen and the best cameras!

maybe samsung has the data, but i don't really see why there's a need of FE. the S series is an example. why would one need a S23FE when there is an A34 or A54, or S22 in the second hand market (same chip).
with Huawei, Honor, Oppo/Oneplus entering the foldable market, giving flagship specs (i.e., cameras), and also good screen aspect ratio and lesser crease marks, i feel that Samsung no longer has an USP already (maybe except oneUI and Goodlock), but being complacent that there is no strong non-China competitors
I literally would buy a fold if they stopped sandbagging. They keep holding the cameras back, the power back, won’t redesign to fit the s-pen or remove the crease.

The main reason isn't cost.....it's because they don't want to fully satisfy their customers, god forbid they actually release a fold z with a phone sized, practical front cover screen and a s pen slot with a premium camera set up to justify the high price 😐

And now the OnePlus open and after seeing this report I won't be switching back.
Fours years later and I'm still enjoying my $2000 Z fold 1 as my daily driver and my $2000 Z fold 2 in my bottom drawer with absolutely no intentions of buying another phone until the batteries on both devices can no longer hold a charge. $4k in five years for phone devices is already ridiculous and I'll be damn if I spend another dime for a phone device. How stupid can you be to burn that kind of money each time a new toy comes out that does the exact same thing the other did......hard ass pass.
If I had phones laying around in drawers I wouldn't upgrade either...
But I use the shit out of mine and they are just about ready to be upgraded at the end of the year.

Big mistake on Samsung, if there's no ULTRA model, there's no reason to upgrade.

Samsung, I love your phones and have exclusively used them over the years.
But give us the ultra, I don't care if you price it at $3000.
I don't care about price, I want the best.
While I like the idea of having a large foldable screen, it's just not enough of a reason to buy these foldables. My s24 ultra outperforms the foldables in every other aspect except for screen size and is significantly cheaper. For $1800, these foldables should be at least comparable to the s ultra ultra models in performance and camera functionality

I have my z fold 5 at the repair center and samsung denied my warranty coverage and wants almost $500 to replace the inner screen, i should have done my research on reddit and see that the folds break so easily just by opening, im so upset with samsung, they dont care about owning up and fixing their defective fold 5
$2K USD is about the price of a week's groceries anymore. And those get eaten, so $2K USD for a foldable phone should be no problem.

So the bubble will burst soon when most foldable users go back to rigid devices and use their extra money to get good quality tablets that are still better than any foldable.

Give me Ultra cameras and a bigger battery. Stop trying to make a bulky phone a few mm thiner , use the space to improve it. I used to want internal s-pen, but not at the cost of battery. I loved my zfold 4, but moved over to the ultra s24...I won't be back until it has th same cameras (although I don't need the pointless 200 mega pixel sensor, just 50 will suffice.
