I don't why, even to me it seems unreasonable, but i genuinely despise Sunny. Because he's either: Really guilty, a murderer and just overall a bad person, which all means he doesn't deserve pity, while people do seem to pity him Not guilty, it was all an accident and he's not to blame, which means he shouldn't _feel guilt_ in the first place. And he feels it for some reason So, it's like.. unreasonable either way..? Also, Kel and Basil seem to be the only people who've dealt with Mari's passing away well. How? Four years passed, it's more than enough, isn't it? It's not like they are all tortured on daily basis or something, they should feel better than they do in the game Also, how is Mari literally perfect? No flaws, they aren't even a bit happy she's dead, how so? She couldn't possibly have been _that perfect_ Like, i have siblings, and i don't think i could possibly and genuinely be so sad for so long if they died. If anything, I'd be relieved cause in any living person there are more flaws than good things
Sunny was 12, and it was all an accident. Of course he feels guilt because at the end of the day, he still killed the one he loved most. People aren’t black and white, they’re complex and messy and have different ways of coping. That’s the point of the game. To say that they should all be over it because four years had passed is incredibly unrealistic. Mari was their closest friend and Sunny’s sister. Losing someone is awful, people usually don’t fully “get over it”. People are complicated, that’s what makes them realistic.
