Oh wow! This video is truly fantastic! Finally, I get a glimpse of the Balkans, and the beauty of this place is absolutely breathtaking. The views are simply magical! And that dog that appears on screen, how adorable! Do they really live like that in the wild? Can I track them down somewhere? Unfortunately, that's not an option for me right now. After my divorce with my wife, I'm completely broke, and she took everything. But luckily, your videos serve as a beacon of light in my life, making everything so much better. Thank you immensely for sharing these wonderful experiences!
That was a great trip to test the car and get comfortable with the uncomfortable, before the big trip! We loved that region so much. You need to keep on going East and make it until Georgia, one of our favorite countries so far. 😉 Great cinematography as always. Greetings from Argentina!

I only allow myself one coffee a day, I save it for a special moment. This time your video qualifies. The drone work which left you solo on those tracks combined with the beautiful editing and thoughtful narration is a perfect marriage that makes it a really high end view for the viewer. An absolutely wonderful video and the scenery in the mountains especially the drone shots simply stunning. You have done tyre and suspension upgrade so you have an ideal vehicle to travel the places you want to go, my only comment on what I have seen is you could probably improve your traction if you lowered the tyre pressure a little as long as you have the means to increase the pressure again to travel on pavement. The defender is a good good size to travel with as it's nice and short and you will get used to wild camping just give yourself time. I spent twelve years here in NZ doing the same sort of thing you're doing but only in holidays from my work and I had a little Series III SWB Landrover hard top and camped beside it a tent with very basic cooking and cool food storage -- the chilly bin -- you have realised the one big mistake everyone makes and that is to try and travel too far in one day. I look forward to following your travels from here in NZ 🇳🇿

Just a tip - it would be nice to add the names of the places that youre travelling to instead of keeping it very brief like just the name of the country. Loving the channel. Een geweldige film van een hele mooie trip. Maar kom een dagje naar Land Rover Experience in Kerkdriel en laat je onderdompelen in offroading. Deze training gaat zeker helpen om zelfvertrouwen te krijgen in rijden over onbegaanbaar terrein. Naast leren rijden kunnen we ook helpen met leren lieren en recovery van je voertuig… groetjes Benno

Wij volgen een flink aantal overlanders maar tot nog toe springen jullie beelden er bovenuit. Een regisseur die precies weet wat hij of zij wil. Echt heel goed 👍🏼 👍🏼

Really stunning video, I just wanted to ask about flying a drone in Croatia. Obviously in EU all drones with a camera even under 250g have to be registered plus you have to have a licence for heavier drones, but that only applies to flying. I read that you cannot take photos and videos without the license and that they don't give these permits to almost anyone. Did you have the permit or just went for it and hope noone will notice?

Hi Guys. Love the vid as always. Would you consider setting up a small (free) website where you could list all your destinations and how you get there? It could detail all the important info one would need based on your experiences along the way etc. Just a thought as your destinations are beautiful and would be helpful for others who might want to venture the routes you have taken. You could also use the website for others to contact your sponsors and obtain discounts etc using your codes of which you can benefit. Many thanks and I enjoy your posts. 🙏🏻👍🏻👊🏻
I appreciate your perspective, but I'd like to request some further elaboration. I'm very curious about the reasoning behind your comment, as I personally didn't observe much, if any, concrete in the video. This suggests that you might have more information on the subject. You've applied your own calculations, but to my knowledge, only the German Autobahn is predominantly made of concrete. How would you explain the other instances then? Or do you genuinely believe there's more concrete in the world than we're aware of? I'm eager to hear your response.
That is what overlanding/touring in Europe looks like, how is that a problem? You can't jump from highway onto national park or fields. Like seriously, not all adventure happens in Bush or Utah ;- ). 90 perc. highway and 10 perc. in mountain passes, would still contribute more off-road kilometers than average redneck rock-crawling in his life. After all, to get to best places, you first have to leave civilization a bit. And the roads are just as scenic, it makes for nice change to alternate between. I do exactly this type of travelling, same favourite locations too :- ) Corsica, Montenegro, all the best kept secrets in Europe ;- ). All the power to this couple! Beautiful videos. Juraj.

@@user-yl9vs9eh1w definitely! I think the only places in the world where you can do real long off-roading is Africa, Australia or Central Asia. But for Europe the Balkan is a great place to explore different cultures and great pistes!

Definitely! In this video we used Garmin xplore but at the moment we use gaia with an overland layer and we recommend that much more!
How many km of offroad was "the best route" ? Looks very nice.

Ik heb nog een vraag, wij (Nicole en Gert-Jan) gaan vanaf half mei ook op reis met onze bushcamper.
Wij rijden vanaf Nederland richting Bari waar wij de ferry richting Griekenland gaan nemen.
Vanuit daar willen wij richting Albanië en vervolgens jullie route de andere richting op te rijden.
Heb jij toevallig de GPX bestanden van deze route nog?

Zeker! We gebruiken Google maps voor de navigatie in het algemeen en Garmin Explore voor de off-road routes als we GPX bestanden inladen.

Hi Guys. Love the vid as always. Would you consider setting up a small (free) website where you could list all your destinations and how you get there? It could detail all the important info one would need based on your experiences along the way etc. Just a thought as your destinations are beautiful and would be helpful for others who might want to venture the routes you have taken. You could also use the website for others to contact your sponsors and obtain discounts etc using your codes of which you can benefit. Many thanks and I enjoy your posts. 🙏🏻👍🏻👊🏻

Haha well that’s your interpretation, I think this Land Rover drives less on concrete then average 😋
I appreciate your perspective, but I'd like to request some further elaboration. I'm very curious about the reasoning behind your comment, as I personally didn't observe much, if any, concrete in the video. This suggests that you might have more information on the subject. You've applied your own calculations, but to my knowledge, only the German Autobahn is predominantly made of concrete. How would you explain the other instances then? Or do you genuinely believe there's more concrete in the world than we're aware of? I'm eager to hear your response.
That is what overlanding/touring in Europe looks like, how is that a problem? You can't jump from highway onto national park or fields.
Like seriously, not all adventure happens in Bush or Utah ;- ).
90 perc. highway and 10 perc. in mountain passes, would still contribute more off-road kilometers than average redneck rock-crawling in his life.
After all, to get to best places, you first have to leave civilization a bit.
And the roads are just as scenic, it makes for nice change to alternate between. I do exactly this type of travelling, same favourite locations too :- ) Corsica, Montenegro, all the best kept secrets in Europe ;- ).

@@user-yl9vs9eh1w definitely! I think the only places in the world where you can do real long off-roading is Africa, Australia or Central Asia. But for Europe the Balkan is a great place to explore different cultures and great pistes!
