Pretty much right up to when Paige and her gang graduate. I was no into the "Adult life" as Degrassi is a character in itself, they had nothin to do with the school anymore. Same with Emma and Manny in college,, they were not part of school anymore. Luckily the writers smartened up and when character graduated, they were gone, but nothing will be like season 3&4
They weren't easy days for me. My teens were dogshit. Mental health was the worst at this time. Some traumatic shit happened. But Degrassi was my catharsis and respite. It got me through some hard times. Not nostalgic for that era, but nostalgic for that show.
I love that this song is about the fact he admits he had a lack of empathy for Ashley, he didn't make excuses he didn't point fingers he just lays himself out an finally accepts humility.
