The trains in Russia keep the time table to the second. Never ever run late. In fact one can correct one's watch by the arrival/departure of trains.

Thanks for this video. Happy memories of my trip in Jan 2020. I bought my ticket on-line in Australia and paid for economy with a light meal brought to my seat. (I assume this not possible at the moment) The price was very good and the trip was great. It certainly was better than my previous overnight trips on very slow trains. I spent a few days in Moscow and then caught another train to Vladivostok!

As a German, I like how the Sapsan handles the Russian climate. the Sapsan is built by Siemens and is based on the German ICE 3 with slight modifications to deal with the cold weather. I would love to ride the Sapsan one day, but unfortunately I can’t go to Russia because I don’t have rights there 🤍💙❤️

I don't get your phrase "the Western world have to learn a lot". Sapsan is a modified (to the worse) Siemens Velaro, it is slower than ICE (Sapsan's top speed is 250 kmps and it's only reached on two short sections of the track, while its normal speed is 200 kmph; and since it's 3000VDC, it could reach 300 kmph the original Velaro can) and it's more crowded (3+2 vs 2+2 on 2nd class ICE).
