I watched this video for the first time over two years ago and I still find myself wanting to watch it again and again! As always Matteo has done a great job filming and editing this run video and capturing the spirit of the RC hobby!

Once again, you have set the bar higher on your TXT2. I once had the TXT1, Clod Buster and the Juggernaut 2. Awesome trucks and my favorite is the Juggernaut 2. I left the RC scene 5 years ago and sold most of my trucks and buggies. Have ever thought of getting the Clod Buster or even the Bull Head? They are awesome trucks! One truck that I would recommend would be the Tamiya Juggernaut 2. Even thought it's the roots of a TXT1 its just a different animal and I really love it over the TXT1 because it's so unpredictable and so jumpy and just love its tires. If you can find a Juggernaut 2 in EBay, I would recommend getting one. I know it may be kinda expensive since it's not made anymore but, it is really worth it. Again, Matteo you are awesome of what you do. Even though I don't run RC's anymore it is so enjoyable watching you videos. Thanks a lot Matteo and pls keep up the good work. Mahalo, "thank you" in Hawaiian, from Oahu, Hawaii
+Christopher De Guzman Thank you so much for your great comment Christopher! I really appreciate your good words and for sure I'll take a closer look to the Juggernaut 2. Best regards from winter cold snowy Switzerland!
The TXT-2 have run very well then previously. You change hop-up options on twin brushless motors, 8 hight tune oil shocks & the tires too. Is awesomely & i like your video Matteo 👍. I give thumbs 👉👉👉.. up👍👍👍
I have been waiting for this moment!! Great scenes! Great truck! and nice opening. Looking and running both have big impact. It seems has explosive power so that "willybar" is necessary.
I would hope that tamiya started selling these trucks like hot cakes after this video was posted, even I''ve been browsing eBay for all the things needed to build this truck the same way after watching this. Definitely a cool video too!!
Looks like it has almost too much motor, but that probably makes it more fun to drive. Why they didn't include clodbuster type tires with the txt-2 is beyond me, it looks so much more correct like this.
Those mods made a world of difference. Suspension movement is very scale, and the tires really bring the look together. Of course you had to go brushless - A proper monster truck should have enough power to twist itself in half ;-) lol. Great vid!
Awsome rig always loved txt chassie did not care for agrios till this video just hate know how much gota put into it to make it way I want it Killer vid awsome rig and great build

I absolutely love this project! I have a question? instead of using a multi channel receiver system is it at all possible to take two speed control's connecting them with a y harness and running them through one channel ? I would imagine that the receiver would get to much power from the dual batteries but is it possible to eliminate one speed control's battery output to the receiver? I use the rear steering servo on the 3. channel, but in case of only one channel you have not to reverse the servo direction, because the servo is installed on the rear axle on a 180 degree turned position.

May i ask your question about 4PL on TXT-2. My RC remote control model is Futaba 3pl-2.4G. How to connect 2 Steering in one Channel? I am Hongkonger. Thank you so much!!!
h670755090h For use on one channel you have to use a V- ore Y-cable. www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9692__Futaba_Y_Servo_Lead_15cm_Length_5pcs_bag_.html But the 3pl have 3 channels, so you can use the 3. channel for rear steering.

Tamiya should pay you for these amazing videos. Whenever I see your videos, I jump on ebay right afterwards to look for tamiya kit deals. Thank you for making these awesome videos
lars wagner It's a complete different thing with a truck with a rigid suspension. It's never the same effect as a independent suspension have. If you watch a full scale monster truck (Monster Jam) it bouncing around after a jump because of this type of suspension. If these would be softer, this would bring a very bad effect in curves.
fartamplifer Yes, the advantage with a separate channel is you can make more settings, dual rate or changing per switch the direction of the rear steering and so on. With a y-cable, the rear servo makes exactly the same as the front servo.

what servo do you use for this monster truck? I didn't see servo specs in the video
Jorge Barros Cabezas I recommend a servo with metal gears and a high torque about 5 to 10 kg. For example Futaba S3305
nice thanks! I'm trading my mistakenly bought cys s2210 for a futaba S9351 which is stronger and faster :)
Does this body come painted the way it is or do you have to paint it
No, the body is clear polycarbonate. Here you can see how to paint: ruclips.net/video/vjIxRJQGD0A/видео.html
how come you don't do more of these. Sure is nice to see. Maybe you do some builds, and show us some new techniques.
A new TXT video is on the to do list!
Another winner, excellent! So smooth. Are you using a steadycam camera stabilizer or a gimbal to film? Make / model? Thanks.
Thank you! I have only the GoPro on a stick for filming. The Sony HDR CX-730 have a very good built in stabilizer, I use it for the scenes with zoom.

Thanks it does handle very well. I can't wait to race it against my original clod buster.
hey bro..will you sell it ? im love it too much
after u mods it :)

Nice video and music it's not rap but I would rather hear the truck
Thanks Steve! I know the personal music choice is different, in my opinion the noises from the electric motor and gears are not so attractive...
Hi again just wondering if you have your rear stearing set up for a 3 channel or is it on a Y adapter? I'm having so much fun with mines.

Ohh yes!!!! Thank you! I appreciate it!
That thing needs a wheelie bar now lol
Yes, truly! 😊👍
Hallo Matteo

0:23 Kick cigarette habit in the butt
😂 Yes, but it's not from me, I'm non smoker... 😊
Tamiya should pay you for these amazing videos.
Whenever I see your videos, I jump on ebay right afterwards to look for tamiya kit deals.
Thank you for making these awesome videos
Thank you so much Sung for your awesome comment! 🙏 Glad to hear this, and sorry for forcing you to check new models! 😊
Really bad suspension setup, even at such good jumps at 2:06 and 2:09 no work of the shocks seen.
lars wagner It's a complete different thing with a truck with a rigid suspension. It's never the same effect as a independent suspension have. If you watch a full scale monster truck (Monster Jam) it bouncing around after a jump because of this type of suspension. If these would be softer, this would bring a very bad effect in curves.
You broke a piece off the body with that wheelie :/. NM, it was a cigarette butt :P
You watched the video very attentively! I didn't see it before!
***** Of course I do, your videos deserve the appreciation considering how far you go to make things so entertaining.
acalthu Thanks! This was a nice comment!
Shocks way too stiff
I am 1st.
Congrats! :-)
I'm looking at getting a TXT-2. What do you think of the Tamiya brushless motors? I was thinking of using Castle Creations 1515-2200 motors.
+fartamplifer Castle are good motors for sure. But I would recommend a 2s setup, 3s is too much for the TXT-2.
I've seen some people swap in the E-Maxx 3906 transmission since it's all metal gears. What do you think?
fartamplifer If this is possible, it's a good idea!
Changing topics, how does the rear steering work? Do you require a separate channel to operate the rear servo?
fartamplifer Yes, the advantage with a separate channel is you can make more settings, dual rate or changing per switch the direction of the rear steering and so on. With a y-cable, the rear servo makes exactly the same as the front servo.
