I don't think I had ever watched her so intently, just hoping she would say all of the things you could tell she wanted to say, as I was in that moment. Last story seems like mistaken identity rather than outright lying, though. I can easily see how the wrong vehicle/person could have been identified. It's real easy for the panic and confusion to cause that, especially when you add multiple moving vehicles.

Shaun King was feeding information to the Houston Police Department, live tweeting the events for engagement, and raising money for the family that the family never saw. The original suspect allegedly hung himself in jail after declaring his innocence. That case was disheartening and should’ve been reviewed by an ethics committee. The Jussie Smollett scandal unfortunately overshadowed the case entirely and there hasn’t been much follow up, since those events took place.
