As an Android user, I dig this update. This is basically the bare minimum Apple had to do to make me interested. Just wish you could move apps anywhere you want.

There’s a use. You can now change the logo of any app and make a new one. It’ll be the exact same but then you have to put your app to the App Library so the logo saves.
Entirely agree. Android does it right. I have my home screen organized...and everything else I don't use as much is organized in my app drawer with one swipe up. I can get to anything with essentially 1 swipe and tap. And of course, everything can be rearranged and renamed. Had a galaxy s10. Stupidly went for the apple 12 pro max. Besides a nice camera...exchanging for the s21 ultra which pretty much lacks nothing at all. And the camera puts apple to shame. Quality is not bad on any flagship these days. And features like pro cam and pro video among everything else...apple still has alot of catching up to do.

For some reason the app library is showing insta, watsapp and snap in diff folder even though they are social media apps . I also have 2 different music apps one is showing in entertainment and one in other folders which is really annoying.
So I’m running 14.5.1 and something or one of my kids did move around my apps in the library screen!! Almost all my apps are in the “other” folder. Any advice on moving things back?

It seems very logical and intuitive that you should be able to move apps around and name folders. We get raw video recording on iPhone 13 but not customizable folders. Come on Apple.

I don't understand the purpose of this. If i had an app on my home page, why would i swipe 3 pages, find it in the app library, and open it when i could just open it on my home page? I now have double the apps on my phone. Am i missing something?

My main question is does the App Library show the most frequently used apps? I’m curious because I saw tinder on my partners App Library page and she says that she hasn’t used those apps in months. But when I check my App Library page, it only shows apps that I use almost everyday. But there are a few apps on that page that I rarely use. Just curious if she’s telling the truth.
Instead of having eight pages how do I consolidate it. Like one page will have six apps, another page will have 10 apps how do I consolidate all of them to have less pages? Instead of moving one at a time. Thanks

That’s why you just put all those folders on a separate page and then hide it. You can hide and unhide pages.

Apple is such a control freak, that even when they finally give users an app drawer, they have to have complete control of it.
