I went to my AirPods to stop Siri from responding then immediately noticed the reduction in volume of “hey Siri” and realized what you had done. Funny.
Out of all the channels I follow, this one I’m actually looking forward to the most. Your style is brilliant to me (the right speed, no unnecessary time wasted). Thank you very much.
Dude this video was flawless. Great info, straight to the point, realistic examples, time stamped segments, even lowered the volume for when you said “hey Siri” so our phones didn’t tweak. Instant subscribe. Fuckin great video bro
Yeah this was actually one of the best tech videos I've watched in ages. You don't need over-the-top music and to put on some stupid character. Particularly loved the volume drop when he says "Hey Siri" - that was genius!
This was a great video. I've had iPhones since the 3G and I've never ever been able to get the hang of Reminders even though it's probably the most useful app on the phone. I find the app quite complicated but if I can get Siri to do all the legwork, then amazing! Thank you for this video xox
I don't (and never will) use Siri, so this would have been much more interesting and informative without the constant Siri speak. But, if you're saying that Siri is absolutely necessary to get the most from Reminders, then I guess I'm not going to use that either.
I was with a mate driving to his house when it started raining. He asked me to remind him to get the washing in, instead I asked Siri and she knew who I was talking about and his home address and the reminder went off as we pulled into his drive. Very impressive.
I think this is awesome your doing so well with your videos, but when you have done all the helpful tips on apps etc you should do blogs. I see a lot of potential man, keep it going 👏
When I say hey Siri add milk and ketchup to grocery list it doesn’t separate them as two items but adds them as one. What’s you recommendation for fixing this besides saying hey Siri before each item?
Very cool seeing Christian things in your videos, like the Hillsong folder in your Notes video, and Jesus (I think?) on your Lock Screen in this video. Also, love your idea to do a video on iMessages! Looking forward to it. Amen Amen Amen!
Hahah thanks Dude! And yes it is Jesus on the lock screen. Actually the most accurate painting of him ever. iMessages video on the way. Thanks for watching my friend🙌🏼
@@TechTips437 I agree that it is nice to see those aspects in your video. However, it is not true that this is the most accurate picture of Jesus. Jesus was a Brown-skinned middle eastern Jew that lived in a region with a very high temperature throughout the year 2000 years ago. It is impossible for him to be light skinned. Another point is his hair. The book of Daniel describes Jesus’s hair as “like pure wool”,which if you think about it is nothing like straight hair but like curly-kinky hair. The book of revelations says his feet were like burnished bronze. (Self-explanatory, right?) However I do appreciate seeing other Christian content-creators on this Plattform. Keep up the good work.
Should have mentioned that Siri is American, and therefore quite insane when it comes to dates. If you tell her to remind you next Saturday, she will remind you Saturday week, not next Saturday. So be careful of that.
@@AnthonyGlenWilliamson Saturday week is not next Saturday, but the Saturday a week from next Saturday. Or, to put it another way, not next Saturday but the following Saturday. 🙂
@@madhououinkyoma As far as I know everyone in my country and England too. But not Americans it seems, who leave letters out of words and write their dates the wrong way round. 😊
AM I LOSING MY MIND ? I seem to remember you could set a reminder and include a contact or a phone number and you could click on it and dial. Am I imagining this ??????
If you say to Siri, remind me in four hours to call Barry White, and he has a contact in your phone, when you touch the reminder it will have a call prompt
I use Siri with the Apple Watch all the time... “Set a 4 minute time” “set an alarm called ‘yada yada’ for 2 hours & 47 minutes from now” “add this to grocery list” etc
@@TechTips437 thanks again for this reminders video. It’s really given me insight. Your visual examples are great. I guess the only thing I could recommend for you to improve is your videography/cinematography. But it’s not a huge negative as I’ve already said.
I am trying to use Reminders again after not using them for awhile. I don't want all my Reminders to make a sound, just specific ones, and there used to be a setting for this on the info page for each single reminder called "Alarm", as far as I can tell from looking at old articles online. 1) Did Apple completely remove the sound "Alarm" feature for single reminders (and it's not just that my phone has an issue that needs reboot or troubleshooting)? 2) Are Reminder sound alarms for single reminders only available through Siri now (as you showed in your video)? 3) If sound alarms are settable for single reminders without using Siri, how do I do that? Thanks for your consideration and for your greatly helpful list of Timestamps. It's been difficult to find the answers to these questions easily.
Hmmmm. I also have the same problem. I have not found a way to have different notification sounds for different reminders. I generally just have all of mine set to appear with the same notification sound, and if I would like an alarm sound then I’ll just set an alarm with Siri and give it a name. Eg. “Hey Siri, set an alarm at 3:41 called pick up little sister from school”
I'm using apple reminder everyday and I jumped on this video once I saw it. However I already use all these feature and didn't learnt anything new because apple/siri are so intuitive.
