  • It was a last minute decision, but the very first use of the new Kimbo camper was not a family trip. Amy headed out across Colorado, due to a death of a friend, and had her own adventure camping solo with the base model Kimbo. Find out what she brought and what she wished she did differently on this learning experience!

I would put a swivel set-up on the 4 camper jacks. A round sleeve on the camper with 4 holes and then a larger round sleeve on the camper jacks that slide over that. A pin can be pulled so you can rotate 90 degrees up when offbroading.

Great deal, having that Kimbo camper. Sorry to hear about your friend passing Amy. At my age of 65, that's happening way to much. Stay safe in those mountains now, you hear.

Many moons ago I complimented you on your excellent presentation abilities. This video is no different. You would be a star network news anchor in another life with your natural-looking skills.

@@ColoradoMountainLiving Long ago my wife was on the game show, "To Tell The Truth" as one of the impostors. A few weeks after the show the network invited her to interview for a news broadcast position because of her TV presence. She interviewed and got a job offer which she turned down in favor of finishing her PhD. Her PhD ended up getting her a job for an major oil company traveling the globe figuring out how to work with foreign governments.

Look into the luggable loo. A toilet set that snaps onto a 5 gallon bucket.

I replaced the front sway bar with a heavier one and added a rear sway bar on my Tacoma, both from Hellwig. My truck camper is heavier than your Kimbo, the sway bars help a lot in the corners. You may want to do the same. Love your camper.

Or ,i use a single burner colemam stove. Kettle,or water in pot.thats how i start every morning- no electric.for what its worth.

Sounds great! We also use a single burner stove often, but it usually involves getting out of the camper and setting it up (at least for now). I just like brewing that 1st cup right out of bed.
