    I totally enjoy your flosstube. Your prim designs are fabulous. I bought two patterns from you and they will be next to go in my WIP pile.
    When my kids were younger, I did the same thing, sans the candle. It may sound selfish, but “Time in the Word” and “Me Time” are very important for our relationships and mental health. Keep designing!!!

      I just started lighting a candle and it's so nice in the early winter mornings! I agree, it always sounds selfish to me when I say it out loud, but "Time in the Word" is never selfish and we all need some "Me Time". Like you said, it's very important for our relationships and mental health. Thanks for the reminder. Happy stitching!

    So happy when I see you & Drew have a new video. Love all of your simple / primitive designs. Enjoyed seeing & hearing about the hermit crabs. Would love to see a picture of his crab tank! Our son had all the little pets too. But his hamster was an escape artist…lol. How about a stitch that says Olde Baskets

      Drew was going to share a picture of his crab tank and he forgot! I'll remind him to next time. It's amazing! We had an escape artist hamster too - and a cat! Olde Baskets is a great idea - I'm going to put that on my list of things to design!

    Loved the story about your dad and the barbershop! Small moments but wonderful memories! Drew is such a sweet, mature young man! Oh, I used to shop at the Brass Armadillo when I lived in Iowa. What a fun shop to find little treasures.

      I'm afraid barbershops are becoming a thing of the past. Lots of memories from that old shop of Dad's! We haven't been to the Brass Armadillo for awhile - now I'm wanting to go again!

    Your craft projects are very nice. I like to switch around all of my projects too because there are so many things I want to do and not enough time to do them all. The seasons definitely dictate the priority list. I love your new patterns. Drew, you did a great job on your painting. I enjoy hearing all about your pets and the hermit crabs are so cute!

    Love your channel - your new pin keeps are great as well as your counting pins. I’ve always wanted to try to attempt making them. Drew is very artistic and I enjoyed hearing about the hermit crabs. My boys had lots of pets growing up too - mostly dogs, a cat, some tropical fish, hamsters, a parakeet, cockatiel - even a bunny. It was hard for me especially to say no to them as I am an animal lover and have always had small dogs or a cat. Those were fun years though. We had a small pond behind our house at the time and they were always coming home with frogs or something in buckets to show me. I’m going to be on the lookout for the heart shaped boxes. Your patterns are amazing and right up my alley ❤️

      @AsberysEchoesStitches  7 месяцев назад

      Oh yes - I forgot all about the bunnies. We had them too! And a goat, pot bellied pig, and a bottle calf with the older kids. Drew raised a bottle lamb to for my uncle, during COVID. His name was Malachai! We had a small pond too and with three boys, there was always some kind of creepy crawly or slimy or slithery thing visiting us! I was thankful I enjoyed all those things and wasn't scared of them. Even my daughter was into all the things! You should try the counting pins - they are so much fun!

    Thanks for sharing your projects. I love that you include your son in your videos. What a great way to create memories! You may want to invest in a memory card, or upgrade your phone so you have more storage space for videos. They tend to take up quite a bit of room on your phone storage. Just an idea.

I had a hermit crab when I was young my aunt brought it thinking it could go in the tank with my box turtle it was bad idea. i put it in a small one my dad did not see it and used some of the sand in planter of aloe we were watching tv and it was walking across the floor.....haha! I gave it to my cousins. thank you for sharing your painting so talented. Have a blessed day!

    Good to see you all again! I have been in a crochet mood lately but still doing some stitching. All your crafts and cross stitch designs are beautiful! It's fun seeing original stitching. So keep showing us your designs. Drew's painting is very nice and enjoyable hearing about his pets. Oh, my Malia has wanted Hermit Crabs for several years now. We have enough drama with the cat and hamster. The hamster has a way of escaping at night and wondering the house! 😂 She is sweet and pretty tame so she comes back around. One night she spent time on the table next to my chair while I was sleeping. She had a good time making a mess. LOL! Now things are fixed so she can't escape. Animals are funny sometimes.

    • @AsberysEchoesStitches
      @AsberysEchoesStitches  7 месяцев назад

      The good thing about hermit crabs is they are low maintenance. They are extremely quiet and easy to contain! They don't eat much and they don't require cage cleaning on a weekly basis! We had hamsters escape too - and a cat in the house! You should share your crochet with us! I crochet on and off but my skills are pretty basic.

Also as I watched the video I kept saying to myself "me too" to planning my garden ...to canning...to not enough time for all the things....to never bored. Oh I need to know how you can cranberry juice....do you use fresh cranberries? I live in Wisconsin where there are cranberry bogs so I could get some cheap come Sept. Cute cute boxes❤

      The boxes are fun! I don't really have a link for the counting pins. I ordered corsage pins from Amazon and the beads and charms came from Amazon, Etsy, and my stash! And I used Glossy Accents glue to glue the beads onto the corsage pin. You can use E6000 too.

      It is called Nate Berkus Upholstery Fabric 54" Flaxen Old Country Linen. I will say I had a lady contact me and she stitches on Osnaburg but tried this fabric. She couldn't find the holes in it. I'm just the opposite. I've tried Osnaburg and struggle finding the holes but I have no trouble with this fabric.
