I think this happens cz I put my earphones plugged into phone into my pocket & then walk or run, this causes to bend the wire tip of the jack so after some time, it breaks from inside. So at 1 point this issue should come up with basically any wired earphone used in that manner.

If this earphone does not act properly on other device,then the problem is on your earphone jack..and if this is the reason,then you have to change your earphone.
