Nice job on the video. That B&M shifter is well built, but it has a flaw. You can accidentally shift from 2-OD with an OD detent plate and from 2-N with a 3 speed. You might like this. Here's a video for my custom and patented detent plate for these shifters. It eliminates missed shifts and it lets you safely slap shift for both the 1-2 shift and also for the 2-3 shift. It works exactly like the guys that race want it to. My detent plates also fit the B&M Bandit and the TCI Outlaw shifters. I also have a video for my 3 speed detent plate for this shifter, and many other demonstration videos for my other detent plates for factory muscle car shifters.
Yup, it happened to me. I really wish I would have bought something else. A reverse pattern gate plate wouldn’t have that issue. I really don’t like this shifter at all.

They're for whatever you want to use them for. I have the top button wired to my line lock.
