I have that shifter in my truck and after using it for awhile i like it alot. Id say its comparable to a ppp shifter, at least that was the other option i was looking at in that price range

It would take some adjusting for me to get past the 1-2. It looks like the slap method would be the easiest way to do it though imo. Thanks for sharing!

how did you wire the reverse lights and the neutral safety? i just installed this in my 86 Monte and no clue how to do this
I didn't, they have the wires, you'll have to use an ohm meter to figure which is reverse and which is neutral.
I was more expecting that car to have a reverse manual and transbrake.
