That was one of the best Rolling Roadblocks, I have ever seen. The officers were patient, and kept up with the idiot, until they were able to coordinate the old school maneuver. Great job 👏
I love watching police chases Cali 100% need to take notes. Idk what the police force in California be practicing but THIS is it. This is how it should go. Control the chase.
That’s Jersey Troops 😎
I was thinking the same thing...... another thing is, why run..
There's too many freeways in Cali for people to continue evading the police. That's why it takes longer and Cali has different chase procedures as well.
Mmm mm.
That was a very dangerous way to stop a chase you don’t know if they have guns inside or M-16 and start shooting left and right
Man that was way too smooth good police work, no one hurt, no one killed....thats how you protect and serve
Officer Doggie was super excited and could wait to get involved!
Boxed him in haha. Good work
It's so great to see the NJ State Police protecting us and keeping us safe on the roads!
Our high taxes paid for that 👍
@@1lori_b seriously 💯
I am so pleased and impressed. It’s time for the Los Angeles police departments to change their pursuit methods for good reasons. And to use the same method that the New Jersey State police have been using to reduce death rates, and costly injuries caused by aggressive police tactics that often are unacceptable and are unnecessary. It also reduces the chances of a lawsuit against the police departments for evasive tactics that often result in costly failures.
Long life to our state troopers✌🏻✌🏻well done.
@@1lori_byou mad??? Case your dumbass didn't realize they pay taxes to
This was well controlled, well done officers! although i wanted to see pit manoeuvre but I guess it wasn't safe enough to do so. Glad no other civilians were hurt during their 5 mins of stupidity smh
Pit maneuver is illegal in NJ. I don’t know why.
It's a slow asf chase what do u expect. My granny walks faster
@@NicotineRosberg 😄
Actually, this is a horrible tactic that was mainly performed out of luck. These officers were risking getting shot at any second... thankfully this driver did not want to leave this earth, so he decided to comply. Also, the crossfire in this video is very frustrating. But, it is NJ...
@@juanagudelo409 I was thinking the same thinking too even though I’m not a cop. They’re so close, exposed with no room for cover/time to gain cover, and not able to continuously monitor the driver for reaching for a weapon since they’re driving too. And yeah there could’ve been a terrible crossfire situation if it went the other way. Troopers in front of that driver and behind the driver at the same time.. their service weapons facing each other 🤦♂️
Excellent driving by Police. California Highway Patrol should watch this. Their chases go on for hours. The only problem here is getting him out. He's sandwiched. They need to pull patrol car up to rear bumper of perp w. emergency brakes on and move patrol car drivers side. You also don't want a crossfire situation which seems to be the case with officers on all sides.
No they shouldn't, because CHP isnt having their police chases on the busiest highways all the time, and NJT is always, super busy
EVERY COP is EAGER to POP this guy ....... Crossfire WAS a real possibility !!!
definitely a crossfire situation but better off w him pinned he cant exit and fire at officers he basically can only shoot through glass or metal and bullets do weird things passing through glass hard to get accurate shots on an officer that way. with him pinned officers can get flashlights and guns on him makesure he keeps hands up, move the car then get him out
I was on the turnpike when they were chasing this fool. I was headed northbound so they passed right by me. Glad to see it was handled cleanly.
where was this? what exit? near ikea and newark airport?
Not sure where exactly he was stopped but I was closer to exit 9 when they zoomed past me
the pilot said they were 10 miles south of cranbury. Either south Mercer county or northern Burlington
"I didn't know you guys were chasing me! If I would have known, I would have pulled over, I swear!"
That was the best and most perfect high speed chase ending. NJ State police at their best
high speed? He was going max 80 mph
NJSP... simply the BEST!
Nice work State Police 🚔
I love the people on the right keeping up with the chase 😂
Most were police ready to spring a rolling road block. Having their lights on just blows their chance when they merge.
HAHAH. If I were in the truck lanes, I would be doing the exact same thing.
And that’s how it’s done in NJ - no PIT maneuver needed - these jokers must have been trippin & thought they were in Los Angeles…
was actually a 62 year old male from north carolina who was initially wanted for a road rage incident where he allegedly brandished or pointed a gun
@@johntempleton3560 no that was a different stop - this stop involved a couple.
@@Katwoman0108 they were right, it was the same incident. The man from NC had his wife sitting in the passenger seat. So yes, if was a couple, but they are both the same incidents.
Nice boxing technique! Thought this was not allowed in the US where they often chase for hours like ducklings behind a mother duck. No PIT, no spike strips, just a nice clean boxing of the car. Well done
Not sure where you're getting your information, but they do all you mentioned here in the US. All depends on the dynamics of the specific chase.
@@robertirwin7141 only based on the hundreds of pursuits I've seen here on RUclips. Most of them in California. This is the first boxing. Perhaps to do with the guns involved? If you watch Brit cops, almost 99% of the pursuits end in boxing
@@pluisjenijn that's California. Hardly anything that happens there makes no sense. Things are different here in Jersey. lol
BOXING is much safer than a PIT Manuvour
This was in jersey a pit is not allowed here
In Miami police would of turned this chase into a huge reckless car pile up. New Jersey police knows how to do their job. This was very well controlled 👍
I know this will invite trolls but NJ State Troopers are the best in the country. Controlled and professional. This is how a chase should be handled.
LOLOL .... YOU should really watch more of NJ trooper vids !!!
@@ricks.1318 video mean nothing. I live in NJ and it true. If there is any PD getting the job done here, it's the state troopers.
I agree Im from NJ, and most cops Ill talk crap back too....but a NJ trooper pulls me off, and Im yes sir, no sir, thank you.
you cant outrun these nj police they have some serious cars & trucks
I am so impressed to see the New Jersey state police handling the police chase in a timely, well controlled manner without the driver pursued in the vehicle to behave in an unsafe manner. As the result of this, there was no loss of life, no car crashes and no violent conflict or confrontation like a stand-off. I think this video should be highly recommended and viewed by police officers all over the United States including those in Europe, and especially viewed by those in the Los Angeles and New York police departments. I commend the New Jersey State police for expertly engaging the pursuit in an appropriate, peaceful manner, and especially how successful their execution of the rolling roadblocks was used without the need for pit maneuvers or spike strips. And you can see the huge contrast with no need for dramatic narrative by a newscaster pilot spotlighting the chase, compared to the more dramatic narrative by the newscaster pilot in Los Angeles. What a difference in the contrast of the typical Hollywood style police chase we were so used to seeing vs the more candid and professionally executed police chase to which I think all police departments should be using instead of the more lethal version of this Hollywood type police chase which I think is getting rather old and annoying. Again a huge Kudos to the New Jersey State Police for ending the place chase the right way at the right time. Yep, two thumbs WAY up!👍🏻👍🏻😁❤️❤️❤️
Excellent work officers.
They don't fool around in NJ.
Man, the crossfire! WATCH THE CROSSFIRE!
My NJ State boyzz! Good job! Well executed pursuit! 👏👏👏👏
Heard about the box maneuver, but that's the first time I've seen it accomplished.
THEY HANDLE THAT SITUATION JUST RIGHT 💯👍,, OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS 🇺🇸 SHOULD FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE 💯💥💥 STAY SAFE ALSO🙏
They now get it from the england police
@@andycole2331 👍🆗️💫
Yes, luckily they did this to someone who did not want to do any other harm... This tactic is dangerous... also, the crossfire was insane. So no... No following this procedure.
@@juanagudelo409 RESPECT YOUR COMMENT, 💢 ( YOU GOT A POINT WITH THAT,, BECAUSE IT COULD'VE BEEN A WILD BOY 🔥🔥🔫, AND THINGS COULD'VE GOT WORSE 💯✊ STAY SAFE OUT THIER🙏
I love NJ State Troopers.
That’s my bestie mike one of the cops on the radio call, so proud of you bestie 💙💙
I am so shocked at these police behavior..... this is not the way they do it in California.
California is a joke state
The lead car is the only one with strobes along the side. He switched his lights from strobes to solid when they initiated the pin
Magnetic Charge To Shut Vehicle.
They rarely use it until that pursuit.
This is really cool to watch! But I have to ask… What did he do to warrant this much arresting?
Executed beautifully. No damage, no shots fired, no crashes.
OUTSTANDING JOB NJSP!!!!!!!!
💪🏾💙💪🏾💙💪🏾💙💪🏾💙💪🏾💙
Nicely done👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Because NJ cops think. Nicely done👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💯🤲🏽
That was very coordinated. Respect those speeds looked dangerous.
Great police work. Definitely a good job there with that maneuver at the end.
Are you insane? What a stupid needless frivolous endangerment of public safety. "conservatives" are stupid neanderthals and dead wrong about everything. We need to rethink transportation. Police and legal "work".
@@OromeVala to my knowledge no one was hurt. Bad guy in custody, cops go home. No one dead, no one sued. Win in my book.
yeah that was slick
@@rockpadstudios What? Their reckless endangerment of so many lives?
@@OromeVala who did they endanger? Forced it to come to a stop without hurting anyone?
New Jersey did a very good job to get the suspect.
That box was wonderful.
That puppy was ready to play
This was just Brilliant and well under controlled.
Glad to see this well executed. Took a minute but I suppose you can’t rush things like this.
Good job no one was hurt.
Wow. Never seen that technique before.
Thats called a box formation
I bet when they got stopped cops were screaming to get out of the car, after while they figure out, perps could not because they were blocked lol
Cuz in that minivan FLYIN 🤣
They had cruise control on.
It goes way faster than that, trust me.
Trying to get to Newark are we
Sending the fur missle through the drivers window would have been epic
Yes!
That was so smooth
Yup..looks like a chase going on.
But no other info.
if you look into nj state police public social media you can easily see. he got out of the car on 287 south and pointed a gun at someone then ran for like almost 40 miles
Now that was a beautiful stop. Proud to live in New Jersey
Amazing work officers
I would like know what they talk each other when their near or how they look to each other jajajajaja
I AM VERY HAPPY AND PROUD OF OUR STATE POLICE THEY AND ALL OF OUR BROTHER'S AND SISTERS OF OUR LEO AND EMT SERVICES ARE VERY BRAVE TO CATCHING THESE BANDIT'S I FEEL VERY SAFE TO KNOW OUR TROOPS OF LEO ARE PROTECTING ALL OF US FROM HARM EVERYDAY 24-7 GOD BLESS OUR LEO,EMT ,FIRE,AND SPECIALIST SERVICES !
I saw this on the news smh
6:34 no they don't PIT in NJ they aren't allowed to do it in most instances. Pursuits almost never happen in NJSP
Last time I saw a chase was in early 2019 in the early morning hours. Two weeks ago I was listening to the scanner and they had a hit and run. The trooper ahead saw the car running, started the chase at 65mph and command shut down the chase and let the guy go. With the car being stolen/armed robbery they didn't want to take any risks.
@@JohnDoe-mm3rd That kinda makes sense to me. It sounded like they had enough information on the vehicle at least to be able to keep track of it. If the pursuit would have been on the Turnpike or the GSP, with the number of cameras, Slicktops, and unmarked vehicles to probably pick up a visual later. The suspect vehicle definitely wouldn't have been able to leave those roadways without them knowing.
Police in the UK have been using this technique for years. It is good It finally got adopted here.
I love how they boxed him in
Wow that worked good. I've seen a hundred other attempts to box in the suspect just not work very well. Usually ya got knock that fool off the road with a PIT
Alguien sabe como se llama la canción que esta relacionada con ese vídeo ? Es un techno
Loving this
UK cops to that Box manouver with precision and fewer cars. It would be a good thing for US cops to add to their training.
.
If multiple police vehicles were controlled by a computer, they’d have no problem boxing in a vehicle.
Great job!
Great job.
👍look at the state boys!
That's a cold lil box in maneuver jersey pd for the win
that was a great execution!!!
The crossfire is bad in this one christ... need more training in jersey..
WOW
What’s that weird alarm thing going off in the background the entire duration of the video? Is there someone who knows about helicopters? Or is this a radio thing. Somebody tell me. I stay up at night for hours on end wondering what this is. My dreams are haunted by this sound. I hear it all day long over and over in my head. It’s gotten so bad that it even interferes with work. I worked in a factory and was found on several different occasions to be standing in the corner repeatedly saying “the noises, the noises”. I have no recollection of this. This has happened several times this week. I’ve been fired. All because of this video.
GET OUT OF THE CAR!!! HOW??? 😆
Cars on the going the same speed limit just to watch the chase 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All those cops for one 🚐 mini van ???? Wow
It looks more like a parade in a police chase
WHAT IS THAT DRIVING MANUVEUR CALLED I THOUGHT IT WAS CALLED BOXING BUT I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE
The jersey jerkoff maneuver, this is usually performed by untrained professionals early in the morning during rush hour when you need to hop off the exit but your boxed in. The real name of move is "box-in maneuver"
That was... Smooth...
Best block/surround I have seen in years.WTG guys/gals.
Why were they chasing the car?
great job no damage
Very nice Chase
start at 6:30
At least it wasn’t a high speed chase. I mean you got people in the car/truck/bus lanes passing them by
This looks more like a police escort convoy to me.
As much as I complain about New Jersey I don’t ever recall hearing Jersey cops doing some crazy stuff killing a innocent black man or whatever Good dam job officers
That’s because law and order lives in NJ
crazy cus they falsely arrested me after racial profiling. but ok!
Good job
Never seen so many cops pointing guns at one another. They should watch California Highway Patrol do car stops.
What did the person do?
allegedly brandished a gun during a road rage incident
Y'all can't mess with the Police
You people act like you've never seen a police chased
7:45 WHAT A MANUEVER
Welcome New Jersey.....we do things a bit different here.
Great box by NJSP!!!
Go get'em Nick
He has a 5 star wanted level jesus christ
I wonder why they chose not to apply the PIT maneuver?
That should be the last thing you do, cause the car can flip, the car can crash
It is Not Allowed In New Jersey.
No pit move by Jersey cops?
What a move by Jersey cops, what a move
Good job cops, about time.
That was hot how they did that! Whohoooo
Grew up in Northern New Jersey. The NJSP are the best. Great box in maneuver. Perfectly executed. Fully fund the police!
Wonder what’s in the car that this person is running like this
the driver was initially wanted for allegedly brandishing a gun during a road rage incident
