Just wanted you to know, that I came back into my “all-time favorites“ playlist to find this video. I watched it three times. Once to bring back my memory recall, a second time to reinforce for the first time and , third time just because I love watching the work! I do have a hint however, if you cut your paper towel twice as wide as you like to make the length of your swipe tools, and then do that zigzag cutting right up the middle, you will have no waste. Then you just cut your swipe tools as wide as you want them. I just know that you are in Upcycling, so this way you will have absolutely no wastage with the paper towels.

I love your paintings, your videos inspire me to start acrylic painting! As I‘m a beginner at it, could you tell me what for you need Floetrol? As I understood from my research the pouring medium helps the paint to reach the right viscosity for pouring , so you can spread the colors nice and smoothly on the canvas. That would be exactly the same thing Floetrol does, so why do you add floetrol as well? Does it also help creating cells like silicon oil? Thanks!
I’m glad I could inspire you! Yes, Floetrol helps the paint ‘flow’ nicely (it’s generally used for house paints to reduce brush marks). As I’m not using any premixed pouring media (you can purchase in Art shops or on Amazon), I make my own and Floetrol is just part of it. Every artist uses different mixes; you just have to try and see what works best for you...It can also depend on the technique. For example, I use only paint and water for my Dutch pour pieces. I hope this helps😁
