First time I have watched your vid, definitely subscribing, and thanks for not talking too much, most art videos have a lot of unnecessary talking….. a great Aussie, laid back video, and very informative! Thank you!
Thank you, in my teaching videos I try to make them as simple as possible, in my student vs teacher videos they are more of a fun escape from reality with my partner, where we just have a laugh and paint.
Fantastic video sweet wombat. You are an excellent teacher, (I know firsthand 😁🥰) I guarantee this helped a lot of beginners and hopefully, if they want to learn more, they will join us in your Facebook Group! Its an amazing group!! 💜💜💜

Just seen the first one it’s stunning and I love the way that I’m noticing people using the expression “Bobs your Uncle “ it’s actually a northern expression that was used in Manchester when I was growing up in England, When I used it in front of my Daughter about a year ago and my partner once a separate occasion not that long ago they asked what does that mean? They had never heard it before both living in the south west! I suppose to me it sort of means “job done or “voila!
When I first started out, I would watch you like crazy and then I ventured out… Months later… I’m back because there’s always something new. I can learn from you and I just want to thank you.❤😊 love your work and you and bubbles😅 plus I love using playing cards when I do try to follow your art😊😂
Love it!!! You are a great tutor! Thanks for sharing your wisdom. You're right... you did break my heart but then you made up for it by doing one without the pillow paint! I'm going to try this asap.
WOW those were really cool, I haven't done anything on my own yet but I have taken 1 class so far but they are very few and far between where I am in UK, I love to wat different people do these artworks as everyone has their own style, really loved watching these and my fingers are itching to start having a play, but that will have to wait as I'm packing getting ready to move, but I'll be back to watch more from you.....thanks for taking the time to make these vid's for us newbies.
Thank you for making a video that I can understand and found so helpful! I was about to just give up on paint pouring because I been trying for a few weeks and it all ran together and was a mess! So ty for inspiring me not to give up. I will definitely try this swipe technique
This is a lovely video to watch, it's like magic seeing the cells appear. Thanks for your laid back presentation, I'm in NZ and am a total novice to any paint pouring but I'd love to create some works with the cell effect, i guess you've been doing them for a while? Many thanks
I have just come across your site and wanted to let everyone in Melbourne know that Western Distributors in Sunshine sell boxes of the square 6 inch tiles for $20 much cheaper than Bunnings
Thanks for this tutorial! Unfortuately iin the US many if not all the white hourse wall paints now have primer in them which disrupts the design and sucks the color away from the top. I have to use tube paints for the pillow now, took me a while to figure this out.
Wow these look awesome. Im glad i found your videos i have watched many done by americans good to see an aussie one as i was getting overwhelmed where to get materials from. Love the tile idea if someone wanted to use as a backdrop in their kitchen what would you use to seal the tiles. Ive subscribed and will be joining your facebook page. Your awesome thankyou
How super cool is this……& an added bonus…..from an Aussie 😃 going to give this a go!! Question though do you need to seal the tile once it’s dry? Cheers 🍻 🐨
Still building up the gumption to do my 1st. Thanks for all the tips. I might not have grasped the activator part. But maybe that was a previous video. Your activator is only the Josina and water? Or the Josina you mixed in 1st then thinned with the 3:1 josina mix? I really love your pours and especially your teaching style. Thank you for clueing in the clueless.
Hi. Love this video tutorial for us beginners. How can we not waste so much of paint when doing fluid pouring art? Can we collect the paint in a container or cup to use for other art pieces? Can we tilt or let the extra paint flow of into a cup/container? Please advise.
replacing the black with a dark mixed with a metallic or black with a dark metallic added in to and istead of white a pearlescent silver pearl white. use an oiler boiler filled with PearlEx pigments and squeeze quickly to blow fine pigment onto the cells in a complementary or split-complementary color for some added sparkle.. embossing powder or some PanPastel dust blown through a mouth diffuser
Just found you and viewed your beginners video on cells. Wow your explanation is so so good. One question tho how much floetrol did you add to the black paint to create cells.
There is no silicone oil added. Yes you can keep the tiles if you like them and coat them in heat resistant epoxy resin so you can use them as coasters.
does ìt have to absolutely be amsterdam black for cell activator? will liquidwx black work? oŕ other types of black? p.s. thank u so much for these tutorials .really appreciate it!! I love this single color swipe u just did!!
Thank you for an easy comprehensive step-by-step excellent tutorial! However, it wasn’t clear to me what it is you use as cell activator other than the mention to Fluetrol. I believe you mentioned Amsterdam paint and water? Is that per se sufficient to create cells? It’s the first time I hear it because I thought something has to be added to the paint (Fluetrol, silicone). Your colours and patterns are outstanding!
I coat them in heat resistant resin, here's a video showing how I do it step by step 👍🐨 ruclips.net/p/PLXISn_Zwj2DLhiaNxys-n2bfnt8XPT6bq&si=ToSCTMJVGNseY_m7
You broke all the rules with the neon swipe! I was told that pigments had to have a tube paint between it and the CA otherwise the cells wouldn't hold up. Those peacock cells are amazing!! I gasped (audibly) and was hollering, "no-No-NOOOOO!!!" when you layered the green and orange. I was certain thered be some 'mud puddles'!! I THOUGHT the only way you avoided this was because of the thickness of your paints combined with how forgiving swipes are -- then I saw you layer purple and green then blow it out with no mud. 🤯 Yer such a rebel!! 🤣🤣🤣
I just came upon you. How kind of you to take the time to do a beginner tutorial!!! I appreciate it greatly!!
Thank you so much. There's a load of beginner tutorials & playlists on the channel full of tips and tricks also 👍💙🐨

Do you add anything to the colours you want to use? 😊
We mix our colours with untinted house paint, video #252 shows how we mix them and the pouring medium we use 👍🐨
Awesome 😊
You crushed my ♥ when you scraped that purple one. Fie upon you! Fie!
Awwwwww I'm sorry moz , kristey and bubbles go nuts when I scrape things, but it was for educational purposes 🐨💜💜

The pouring medium, brands of paint I use, being at sea level all help get great cells 👍🐨
@@venomfluidart Any tips for someone trying this from 5000 feet?
@rachelraccoon5565 make your cell activator a little thinner, try 4 or 5 parts floetrol, 1 part paint

Yes Kim, just coat it in resin 👍🐨
Wowzers -- thank you for this demo !!

Thank you Arlene, the cell activator is just Amsterdam oxide black mixed with Australian floetrol, roughly at 3:1.

Why house paint, is there a specific reason?
Because house paint I use is stretchy and way cheaper than using quality acrylic paint as a pillow paint.
Why did you call "pillow paint?" I'm in united states, And my mom is from england. Mixed family 😂
Wow…did I learn alot
Thank you for watching Frankie ♥️ 🐨

You are more than welcome Jeanette 🐨💜
So the white swipe has no 'cell activator' added? What is added to the black to activate the cells? LOVE THIS, thank you!!
adding glitter and Jacquard PearlEx Pigments would be nice after it's settle and after the swiping is done
Awesome tiles my Australian friend!❤😘🤟❤️

Just found you and viewed your beginners video on cells. Wow your explanation is so so good. One question tho how much floetrol did you add to the black paint to create cells.
Thank you Deborah, it's 1 part paint, 3 parts floetrol 👍💙🐨
Beautiful work! Did u add any silicone or oil to your colorful paints?
Love what you do. What kind of fluorescent paints are you using?
Thank you, I use eye candy pigments. For a 10% discount on them use venomfluidart as the coupon code. eyecandypigments.com/venomfluidart

So it will make cells like that with just paint and water?
I love the two colors. I have silicone medium and it seems to make cells really deep and I don't care for it. Water makes cells too?

Beautiful art. How long does it take to dry? Do you have to do anything to seal it after?
Hi ! That’s a beautiful piece! What’s your ratio for your paints? Did I hear it right, paint and water?
It is called, I could be wrong, Created inspirations. I'm a newby on this.
What's in your black paint for cell activator? This is so beautiful
Amsterdam paint and Aussie floetrol in this one. There's some videos on different cell activators on the channel, #86 I'd with paint and water. 💙🐨
When do you add the silicone oil? How much? And could you keep any of the tiles if you love the effect?
There is no silicone oil added. Yes you can keep the tiles if you like them and coat them in heat resistant epoxy resin so you can use them as coasters.
What kind of cell activator do you use that I can find in the US???
Did you use water as your activiator?

There's quite a few that will work, atelier, liquitex, but the Amsterdam works best
Wow, can you keep it?
Very nice. It looks so easy. I gotta try. :-) What is "house paint" actually? Any paint for indoor use that use water as a thinner?
Thank you for an easy comprehensive step-by-step excellent tutorial!
