@@cb9137 I like it because its convenient with some good features. The "X" in XSE stands for more luxury or additional amenities, so you'd have to pay more. If you really don't care about having more additional features/luxury i.e. leather seats you might want to consider just going with the SE.

I have the 2018 Camry XSE v6 and I feel like the last years infotainment system is yards better. The small buttons and knobs on the 2021 would bother me to hell. Only gripes about the 2018 is the transmission lag and the fact the windchill pearl paint does not fair well with bird droppings. Really bums me out Toyota did a 4 cylinder all wheel drive rather than a 6 cylinder. Not sure why people would want a v4 unless they’re going with a base SE or LE. None the less, the v6’s don’t sell as much as the v4 so can’t be mad at them for sticking with what’s popular.

Screen depends on your perspective, and size of the screen.
LE AND SE only get 7 inch screen.
XLE and XSE get 9 inch screen.
If the screen looks too much like an add on you could opt for the smaller screen...But I'd bet a hot fudge sundae that if offered at the same price you'd take the larger screen which somewhat negates the too much of an add on look being the issue.
No the issue is that it is new...And it's also at a better eye level..If I just bought one last year with the smaller in dash unit at a lower level of sight I would be pissed...But, That's the car business...
No one can ever keep up with the next model...I like the screen..It helps to correct the previous somewhat over the top "Mod Squad" swoosh design where the screen was before...21 Camry's also have the all new Toyota Safety Sense 2.5

You need to look again there are not small rotors.. Those are 19-in rims ,they can't have rotors that big.. They are on the same line in comparison as the Honda Accord. Toyota also puts a 610 CCA larger battery in the Toyota Camry compared to Hondas 480 to 500 cold cranking amps.. and I've got a new Toyota Camry XLE in my garage and a Honda Accord and I can compare the two.. They are both the best cars.. I can tell you Honda takes a lot of shortcuts in some of the quality. When the truck opens in the Accord it just pops open, not fully ...my Camry opens all the way up and is lined with sound deadeners uo ,the downsides and back as well and the hinges are encased to make it look nice.. even the Honda Accord touring looks base when you open the trunk and does not have the hinges encased... They are just painted bare hinges exposed.. the Camry has a lot of small extras that the Lexus has including ambient blue or red lighting inside including the floors and dome lights which are recessed over the back seat closer to the passengers.. and all LEDs.

I bought a new Camry over the Honda Accord..the Camrys have always proven reliable the new Accords with the turbo engines and the CVT are nowhere near as reliable as the Camry ,also many of the turbo engines are leaking oil.. go on the internet and you will see.. there are seals that go out and it sprays oil all over the motor on the left side.

@@mhernand86 For sure 👍. You will feel more confident in the Camry than you do the Accord as well.. that 1.5 turbo engine is noisy and annoying as well as that terrible flatline golf cart CVT that has no drivers feel at all...

Good quality review of this Camry. I will say though as a owner of a 2020 xse I am disappointed as there is nothing really new about this car except the dash audio screen. I see that there is apple car play but I feel as though it should have built in GPS. It just looks the same and their is nothing new these xse look like they they don’t have birds eye view which is weird because the 2017 model has it. Idk maybe it’s me. But very good review of this car.

Most new cars won't have built in GPS since your phones apps wirelessly connect with the car. The car will use your phones GPS and maps to get around. This is mostly because cars that did have built in GPS have no way of updating the maps without an expensive and usually bespoke update package from the manufacturer. Since everyone's phones already have it, and something like Google maps on your phone will also give you real time traffic updates, which the cars GPS won't do, most people used their phones GPS anyways. Makes more sense.

@@Qaor yeah I know 2021 has non hybrids as well. But when I was looking into the 2020 there were no hybrids at all for that car. And I did notice that the 2 tone cars got sun roof now. The 2020, 2 tones didn't have that. And the 2021 has more colors available now.
I've been on a hunt for the past year to get the xse with everything I'm looking for.

If there's anything I have to say about this new 2021 camry is the glossy infotainment center which is a big disappointment and the panoramic sunroof all which are just hideous feature that I really hate on a car. Toyota is really going backward with some of these feature that just made it not worth buying.
