Just rented one for a week in Houston Texas, Great car, great gas mileage, drives like a Sports Car, automatic everything. Only thing I don't like is lane centering, it's so annoying, but other than that Great car.
@@HermannTheGreat Camry has one of the best leg room and space in general in its class. He just had the front seat waayy in the back. Check it out yourself to get a better idea. As for the interior, I guess it’a subjective. Personally I love it.
Lane Assist or Centering is mediocre because I see your fingers at very bottom of video screen on the steering wheel making sure it stays in the lane. (Not a Confidence builder). Eco mode is best used when driving long distances and cruising along on the highway. Normal mode is where it should be most of the time and when you are merging or climbing onto on a highway onramp then put into Sport mode. Because of low profile and wide tires your MPG is not that great as the tire has more surface traction and more friction with less roll causing more tread wear. Handling is awesome on dry pavement. Wet okay, and Snow is a no go. 0 to 60 expert/pro driver is 5.8 seconds otherwise a good 6 seconds. Top Speed as Toyota uses Limiter/Regulates it to 134 to 136 MPH. The 2023 Camry is the 6th year of the 8th Generation since 2024 will be the Camry 40th Anniversary and will have a total new redesign. Unfortunately, Toyota will discontinue the 3.5L V6 as it will not be used in 2024 and replaced with i4, i4 turbo, or Hybrid. The 2023 Camry all Trims had insignificant and minor upgrades so it practically the same as the 2022 Camry. However, the 2023 Camry TRD did receive some changes in its refresh. The best driving experience is with the Honda Accord 2.0T Touring with 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds but sadly top speed is 102 MPH. All KIA's are very unsafe and a death trap after seeing several accidents. I refuse to buy, drive or be a passenger in any KIA vehicle. 3rd best sedan my list would be Mazda 6, on a budget then Hyundai Sonata. Nissan and Volks Wagon not even contenders. Camry's with 2.5L i4's are cheap and reliable but far from having good acceleration but do get great MPG's. This is why the Camry XSE, XLE and TRD with V6 engines are best to get and come in at #2 on my list. With more money could get BMW, Mercedes, Acura or Lexus brand cars. Price of a Fully Loaded Factory everything 2023 Camry XSE V6 is closer to $48K. Note: Bridgestone Turanza EL440 are very expensive tires at $306 each with no warranty from Bridgestone. Expect road noise level to increase after 10K miles and tread wear to be depleted between 15k to 20k miles. The Turanza EL440 is a poorly engineered and made tire. Please replace them for your own safety. The ground clearance of the 2018 to 2023 Camry is 5.7 inches. The TRD ground clearance is supposedly 5.2 inches. Good luck and Happy Holidays to all in upcoming year 2023.
2021 MSRP $39,496. The 2023 Camry XSE V6 with exact same items basically there were no refresh or changes has a MSRP $40,461 in 2023 which is $965 more than it was in 2021or 2 years ago. The increases were in the Base MSRP up $825, All Weather Mats up $40, and Destination fee up $100. If you happened to buy a new 2021 that year, you just saved yourself $965 which you can put toward new tires. Okay, we all had to get new tires ASAP because the Bridgestone Turanza EL440 tires are the worst tire Bridgestone made and they are expensive but worthless garbage.
I hate to say it but your review left so much to be desired. You really didn't capitalize on being able to drop an ongoing narrative to describe what you were experiencing at different points in the video also you should have gotten more spec information out there. Any chance this comes with drilled and slotted rotors? Should have shown the engine compartment described all of the features of this trim level. You mentioned you wanted to drive this vehicle to compare it to the 2.5 L 4 cylinder in acceleration and Power but then you do not mention anything in comparison whatsoever.
It also have ambient LED lighting and the seats are real leather. It looked a lot better in person.. also has automatic engine starts plus heated steering wheel
