I am so excited! The choir I’m a member of are going to be singing the weekend services at St George’s Windsor next month. The choir boys have the usual school holidays, and most Cathedral’s and St George’s rely on ‘visiting choirs’ to fill the gaps. I’ve previously sung in Ely, St Albans, Lincoln, Worcester, Gloucester, Hereford but St George’s sounds even more special!

I was lucky enough to meet the man...humorous for 45 min straight at a dinner given by the UK for they now sit out on Mauna Kea. They know it is the best place on earth to see the stars. My husband an engineer from Hawaii...educated at Stanford for this moment. They spent a month watching it get packed up in the UK. I found it interesting that their need be people from England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland work on this job on the MT at Mauna Kea. This was in the 1980s.

Seeing Prince William and Harry be so sweet, excited sending their Father and his then new wife away on their honeymoon. Must surely fly in defiance in the accusation that Prince Harry spoke of in Spare. What a shame, they all seem so happy. 😢

The most romantic castle in our country, with Hampton Court close second.

What I loved seeing was the Irish State Visit to the U.K. with both Presidents of Ireland attending the Irish State Banquet at Windsor - I’ve lived 22 years in the U.K. and this state visit made me so proud to be Irish 🇮🇪☘️🇬🇧❤️

12:59 Coming from a Rural Irish background myself, this makes the Royal Family very relatable, as I grew up very close to local Irish farms - in fact, in our village in Rural Ireland when I was growing up in the 1970’s, we had at least 3 working farms on the Main Street - and many of our local businesses in our village had double purposes, like a combined pub and grocers with petrol pump, as well as a combined hardware, pub and drapery with a petrol pump - of course, after 22 years living in Manchester, our village has grown into a satellite commuter town barely 20 miles from Dublin

7:13 Given the fact that the late Queen Elizabeth II was a deeply religious person, I feel sure that she is in heaven, as in my 22 years living in the U.K., I have seen her demonstrate her commitment and dedication to duty as an expression of her genuine and sincerely held religious beliefs during her lifetime - I am aware that in my home Catholic parish in Rural Republic of Ireland, a special Requiem Mass was held for Her Late Majesty when she died and in line with Irish Catholic customs, a Decade of the Rosary was recited for the Repose of her Soul at that Requiem Mass 🇮🇪☘️🇬🇧🙏❤️

Is it common in the UK when seeing a member of the royal family in public to not pay much attention and act not surprised? A unspoken knowledge of respect? I was shocked how the local farm stand shoppers were so casual with him? In the US, “famous” people are quite literally swarmed and must bring huge security teams to go anywhere “normal”

Yes and for most celebrities at least real ones. When I worked at a motorway service area we were unofficially told that when serving a famous person just to treat them as normal unless they approached you

In addition, it is rather common to see a member of the royal family at the shop. The locals are used to it

My brother worked in Harrods and he always saw Diana and famous people they were told not to react, they had to treat them like anybody else. Michael Caine tapped his shoulder one day and he had to act normal. Omg if it was me I would have fainted 😂 I looooooove Michael Caine xxxxxx

I’d love to visit Windsor and staying with the Royals as their official guest, I’d love to be able to learn to drive around the grounds of Windsor Great Park when it is closed to the public - many years ago, I used to drive a motorcycle when I lived in Rural Ireland over 22 years ago, but here in the U.K., I’ve never had the need to learn to drive here in Manchester

14:55 Oh my ! Thanks for pointing that out ! As a American. It seems very inappropriate for a Royal home to have them posters ? Even if no members of the Family will even go to that office.
