I think the Royal Family have done a marvelous job. The task is all consuming, they are not robots, they are human beings. Our late queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were very young and had the stamina to match when they took over.
In what way have they done a marvellous job….their life is far simpler than the subjects whose lives are a lot more complicated in the struggle to get through the day..

Harry wasn’t left behind by his brother. Had he not been insisting that his wife would have to come with him to Balmoral he could have left on the same flight as the rest of his family. Very hard to have any sympathy for Harry considering he chose not to go see his grandmother over the summer or the prior Christmas. After having been invited numerous times by the Queen but Harry didn’t bother to go see her in person nor let her get to know his children.
Harry Did nothing wrong, He was discriminate against by the people, and his very own family. His wife and children were shunned for no doing of their own, and he has put in the middle like a rag doll. I would have chosen the more peaceful side to. The royal family proved out of the whole ordeal with Harry and Meghan to be racist, prejudice , and hypocrites in the highest form of the realm. The Queen showed her cards in the 90s, with her treatment of Diana, and She sealed it with Harry. Charles is a spineless eel, with his Witch Camilla lurking around waiting for any creavase to slide in and get what he does not deserve as he has brought much shame on the Royals. So do not blame Harry for the ill manners of the Royal Family.
@@dustinatwood2620 yeah right Harry and Megan have been perfect angels and not brought any of this onto their selves. What exactly have they accomplished since running away from England? They have absolutely no work ethic and have accomplished very little since leaving England which is exactly why they got fired by Spotify. The Queen and the rest of the family welcomed Megan with open arms. Megan was encouraged by the Queen to mentor with Sophie the Duchess of Edinburgh but of course she couldn’t be bothered with that because Megan thought she already knew it all and was so much better than the Royal Family which makes her a hypocrite. Keep your opinion just like I intend to keep mine.
"Harry left behind by his brother and uncles"? Indeed and why was that? They waited for an hour for him to get to the plane. And this hour was why Andrew and Edward could not say goodby to their mother. Or William, the next in line, to his grandmother. Keep to the facts, dear sir.
@@Mayrowswhat racist Royal relatives ? Even Harry has said they are not racist, he also said the his Wife has never said they are racist, so who's the racist relative ? Facts matter.
I honestly think QEII has lived the best life since humans became how we are, and no one will ever live a life better. To think she was never supposed to be Queen if her uncle didn't marry that hideous Wallis Simpson then became queen at 25. 25!!! Just amazing.
People thought she was stiff and stoic. She was raised mainly by her Grandmother Queen Mary who used to suffer no fools. The Queen was eleven when I was born so, I grew up with her in my life. She is still sadly missed.
She had humanity . She carried her love for others as her flag bearing gift... she delivered that gift.....in her smile...her stance...her integrities....the way she paused and clearly stopped to engage in far more discernable ways than just to pause to appear as if engaging....her depths of giving in her manners decorm s...her silences....her measured responses....had the enormities of watching a poet ...write....see ..a painter to take nature and paint it ...apply it with a most thoughtful and engaged hand....to find the places where the colors could fit ...as they should....and it wasn't able to be pretended... Our great states persons poets and painters all come from a place of highest contemplations ..where dedications to succeed crucially require the person's to become the role as a vocation ...subject themselves to the endless serving of kneeling in honour to the greatest servitude that of mankind our planet of life and what it can open up for us if we serve it well and never allow ourselves to become indifferent or above the humble wealths of our shared humanity. Straight from the soul.. Some arrive and walk.. To bring greater meanings To life's journey here So was our Queen cut... Of such finer innate cloth..... Born to be a light in its term To bring us far more than a monarch of years.. But a fine soul that makes its full mark.. As beautiful as the song... Of the humble sweet purpose filled lark..
The Queen's death on September 8th 2022 was the day that changed our lives forever, & no-one will ever forget that, with at the age of 96 years old which indeed a good innings for someone like her, I don't think anyone will ever forget that.
Saying Harry was effectively left behind by his brother and his uncles sounds like they abandoned him, which was not the case. They apparently waited for over an hour while he was arguing with his wife who incredulously expected to come too. The cheek of Meghan Markle to expect to be there was beyond comprehension and how Harry could show his face after trashing his Grandmother’s legacy and making the last years of the Queen’s life miserable is deplorable. So if Harry was late, it was Meghan’s fault!
Yes this is true according to Harry’s own book. William’s car with the uncles didn’t make it to see the Queen either, because they wasted hours arguing on the phone with Harry whether his wife was coming or not. If my whiny lying brother and his narcissistic wife caused me to not see my grandmother before she died, I will not forgive them forever. How painful that must be.
@@Debbie-vo3ygHarry should have put his foot down and told her this is a FAMILY situation and she needed to stay behind. For Princess Carherine not to get to go is deplorable.
Still sad about the departure of QEII. She was an outstanding woman. Sad for her family, too. For those who are reliable and hard working, trying to help the King and honor her memory.
Effectively leaving Harry?? Harry didn’t make it because he was too busy arguing Megan needed to be there! Which I can imagine is the last person the queen would want anywhere near her on her deathbed! And who could blame her or any of them for that matter just so Megan can make it a PR exercise for herself please! Not to mention, you must’ve forgotten all of the invites he got from his grandmother to come to Balmoral while she was alive that he declined. So why was it so imperative for him to get there then? He didn’t care when she was alive, so why when she’s dying?
It was only imperative to Maggot to be there so she could record to sell stories, which she's trying again through Scabies. But also to be apart of history! Her name would be one of the last people to be at Her Majesty's bedside. Thank God that didn't happen! MM needs to go away and stop attacking the Royal Family!
not true. Harry didn't hold up anything and the others left without him, willy never answered his texts/calls. if they were late it was through their own fault.
@@lisabradford8180 OK let’s say that’s true. You know, like Megan, not contributing to finding freedom, the wedding in the backyard three days before the spectacle , the New York City, catastrophic car chase, the royal family took her passport, and then she proceeded to travel all over the world, (only the Sovereign can do that)why would they want to tell him? He had no interest in accepting her majesty’s invitations to Balmoral while she was alive. But hey, whatever THEIR truth is I guess the rest of us just have to play along. Just like everything else it’s all about Megan and Harry.
@@lisabradford8180 Absolute rubbish! It is a recorded fact that Harry's first priority was negotiating for the presence of 'She Who Is Evil.' This delayed the departure of the rest of the family. It's amazing to me that there are still people who refuse to accept the level of malevolence in Markle. Don't bother to comment on this .I never read comments addressed to me.
Even as an American I was bawling when she died. When my mother died her strength gave me strength to continue...it felt like a mother...when she died it felt like losing my mother all over again
Andrew and Edward didn't make it to see their mother because of Harry. So don't say that it was sad that Harry had to make a commercial flight. And that his brother and Uncles left him behind. If he just got on the plane with them and not have a tantrum than they boys might have been able to say good bye to their mother.
Didn’t this documentary say Andrew, Edward, and William were all on the same plane? So if William got there in time to say goodbye why didn’t Andrew and Edward?
It was pure chance that Charles was able to be there as he was only a short trip away or else he'd have missed it too. Harry should never be trusted to be in ar the RF again. Hell derail everything to raise his and Meghans profile. I think the RF should be glad to be rid of them.
From all I've read and seen, Prince Harry was not the only member of the royal family who did not make it in time to see the Queen. I believe that only her two eldest children were there in time. Do you have different information?
Well she died at 330 as the statement said bit William, Andrew and Edward arrived that afternoon after 4. And Harry around 6ish or so. It wasn't officially announced for a few hrs after she'd lasted though. Even though it happened at 330. But I suppose they had to get their ducks in a row b4 hand.
Agreed! It's so medieval (like in a movie), and not something you think you would ever hear, not in my lifetime anyway. It seems most of my generation will be living through 3 big changes to the Royal hierarchy. Rather strange to imagine.
I work with the elderly and advanced age. At that age they really deteriorate very fast. They could be healthy and bouncy today and be in critical condition and decline the next day . The transition can be very shocking.
My Grandma was 85, she was going out for walks, enjoyed spending time with me and then next day she took to her bed and declined rapidly for 2 weeks then died.
Could you at least get the facts straight? PH kept the plane carrying William, Andrew, Edward and Sophie on the ground waiting for him to arrive for over an hour while PH argued with his father and demanding that MM be allowed to come too. In the end Prince William ordered the plane to leave for Scotland, but they were all too late to be able to say goodbye to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. King Charles has turned out to be a very good king along with the support of his Queen Consort Camilla.
Correct the BBC coverage that started when it was announced that the family had been called to Balmoral , it showed the plane on the runway waiting to take off with the family aboard for well over an hour ,and were speculating as to why they plane was just sitting there with the family aboard, and during that time they were notified by someone scobie i reckon, that harry and meghan were both going and the plane was waiting for them, eventually the plane took off without either of them , but it was definately the shenanigans of the treacherous ones who delayed the flight . Unforgivable. I say scobie leaked that was because he also posted that the Queens body was going to come back the next day by train which was never the plan , and it is said that William fed that story to harry to see if it was posted and by who.
16:42 - That look of his, it speaks volumes. Its both a cry for help and a tremendous effort to not yell at her to stop embarraisng him and his family.
At 5:00 it is very important to establish something: Harry was NOT left behind by his brother and uncles. He was insisting Markle be there (by her prodding - can't let a photo op go). This despite the fact Catherine wasn't going to be, as William told him. Harry(Meghan) insisted on 'negotiating', William obviously wasn't going to engage with such nonsense and left to go see his grandmother before she passed. Harry made his choices, his victim complex while living a life of extreme privilege is disgusting.
This is the greatest documentary of the Crown it is inspired by true events. And In real life too It as been very sad moment of the death of the queen she was incredible woman to her country and her royal family she will truly be missed by all
i watched this all play out live when it was first announced that she was taken ill ,,,,when it was made clear she had passed i felt honest pain from her passing ....my mother named me after her (Shannon Elizabeth ) i met the queens mother at the royal albert hall as a chikd when doing primary school work on the swan lake and the queen her self at the royal albert hall for another swan lake production i love the royal family dearly
That scarred them. They were forced to do it and didn't want to. You can see in the footage just how uncomfortable they both were. Harry has even spoken about this and said they both suffered bcos of that amd walking behind the coffin. Duke of Edinburgh wasn't meant to but told Harry he'd walk with him if he decided to do it to be there to comfort him. What kid would want that attention? Especially days after your mum dying and people being in hysterics about it. Having ti try keep it together urself as the publics wailing.
This still just tears me up. I can’t believe she is actually gone, warts and all, she was simply a magnificent monarch. Poor Charles, can’t carry her water. But he knows that! So sad.

The fact that she worked her soul through for the country, the people, and her reign. She had such nobility while keeping up through her age.
I am not a fan of Charles and Camilia, but I hope that they continue her memory.
Her late Majesty the elder wise and respected states person. Still missed throughout the world and people will continue to miss her for many years to come.
They weren’t young & Charles over many years had taken over the queen’s duties all except paperwork. Edward had taken over Philip’s duties.

You misunderstood OP’s comment. The person is talking about how young Elizabeth was when her father died and she became Her Majesty. She went up the treehouse a Princess, came down a Queen is how, I believe, the saying went. Prince Philip of course stood by her side and Prince Charles and Princess Anne were still young children.
William and his uncles didn’t make it to say goodbye either we heard. Quite an important point to have said I thought.
I believe because they were waiting for Harry who wanted to bring Megan.
"Harry left behind by his brother and uncles"? Indeed and why was that? They waited for an hour for him to get to the plane.
And this hour was why Andrew and Edward could not say goodby to their mother. Or William, the next in line, to his grandmother.
Keep to the facts, dear sir.
In addition to the plane but, did he say that Harry had planned to visit her? If he did,a little bit of white washing of the gruesome twosome.
I can’t forgive Harry for the way he acted when both grandparents were ill & subsequently died. They did not deserve that😢

What an amazing life she must have lived
I honestly think QEII has lived the best life since humans became how we are, and no one will ever live a life better. To think she was never supposed to be Queen if her uncle didn't marry that hideous Wallis Simpson then became queen at 25. 25!!! Just amazing.
People thought she was stiff and stoic. She was raised mainly by her Grandmother Queen Mary who used to suffer no fools. The Queen was eleven when I was born so, I grew up with her in my life. She is still sadly missed.
No doubt she live an amazing life. But it was a life filled with heavy shoulders as well.
QEII once joked that after her life, heaven might be a bit of a letdown.
@@lisajeter9511 Absolutely - it was NOT all gold and glitter!! She WORKED sooo very hard and deserves to be recognised for that! I miss her so much!

how did it change your life?
Saying Harry was effectively left behind by his brother and his uncles sounds like they abandoned him, which was not the case. They apparently waited for over an hour while he was arguing with his wife who incredulously expected to come too. The cheek of Meghan Markle to expect to be there was beyond comprehension and how Harry could show his face after trashing his Grandmother’s legacy and making the last years of the Queen’s life miserable is deplorable. So if Harry was late, it was Meghan’s fault!
Correct all Harrys fault
She trashed her own legacy Harry was just direct in content like his mother
Yes this is true according to Harry’s own book. William’s car with the uncles didn’t make it to see the Queen either, because they wasted hours arguing on the phone with Harry whether his wife was coming or not. If my whiny lying brother and his narcissistic wife caused me to not see my grandmother before she died, I will not forgive them forever. How painful that must be.

Still sad about the departure of QEII. She was an outstanding woman. Sad for her family, too. For those who are reliable and hard working, trying to help the King and honor her memory.
Thank you for your contribution to inform us in a very professional way.
@@JaneKaplun-js4lp they didn't make it in time because they were waiting for Harry and then with his shenanigans they left without him
It was pure chance that Charles was able to be there as he was only a short trip away or else he'd have missed it too.

Thanks for this. It sets out the issues very clearly
The sentence “the Queen is dead” makes me tear up every time I hear it.

Queen Elizabeth was special a real lady
God blessed the world with this magnificent dedicated woman. She did all she could to spare others any of her infirmities and that takes courage.
I work with the elderly and advanced age. At that age they really deteriorate very fast. They could be healthy and bouncy today and be in critical condition and decline the next day . The transition can be very shocking.
Truth

Hugh and the 7 News cameraman were both part of history at Balmoral the day she died.
At 5:00 it is very important to establish something:
Harry was NOT left behind by his brother and uncles.

Even stronger was when the boys greeted the public when their precious Mother passed away.
