    Very well presented Tom, thank you! Although I’ve been playing a very long time and already played these , something just “clicked” with the way you explained this. Much appreciated!

OF WHICH JIMI ALWAYS THOUGHT BILLY WAS THE GREATEST GUITARIST EVER LIVED . JIMI LEFT THE WORLD WAY TOO EARLY.☮️🥶 St.Louis,Missouri.USA.❤

    Do you have any tips for trying to do the hendrix/frusciante/mayer "thumb over the top" technique? That's really frustrating me at present.

      thx bro. My recommend is learn a jimi song note for note - castles made of sand - lots of that style. Guitar is supposed to be hard bro (: no shortcuts , sweat a little bro ((: !

    TheTominator, the wind cries mary hendrix chord is from which pentatonic box? make a lesson about it

  • @Birdkokane
    @Birdkokane 6 месяцев назад

    So this additon works on the major pentatonic scale ith major chords. in the case of a minor pentatonic it would be a flat third right? ( and of course a flat 7th). using major chords with the minor pentatonic would also work but changes the sound somewhat ( i.e. Hey Joe)

    • @tom.guitar22
      @tom.guitar22  6 месяцев назад +1

      yes - your options on a minor chord are to slide from the 2 to minor3 on the lowest string, then grab the root and fifth, next you can slide again from the 2-minor 3 on the d string, and embellish however you like
