when you have too many corridors especially cross connectors, you can put signs from the printer under decorations
@14:30 if you got the ores to burn, quick way for material exp is making hose pipes
@17:35 you can add 6 batteries and just daisy chain them in a series for more storage and then a transformer ECU at the end to split the power

all seeds can grow initially in the incubator then...
small hydroponics tray grows only small plants
the 3 fields can grow both small and medium crops like corn
the dome can grow all 3 sizes but mainly for trees. can grow small and medium for higher harvest yield but cost more water, power and dirt
@27:18 use the pump to split or combine, just click any of the 3 icons under input/output to change the type: blue for water, green O2, red methane
@30:17 yip scrubber doesnt show power usage cause it doesnt after its built and only uses when its on but you can see it when you tinker with the valves and the power draw is displayed on the screen

Apparently the big crusher has a 3d printer in it with special recipes in it. All that organic waste you've been picking up can be put in the fertilizer machine. You kept pressing the close door button. You got to click AND drag it up.
No Grill, that dude was right, you should definitely rip all those small solar panels down, they're a terrible waste of space, they're all over your water field, and you're gonna want a fair few pumps there
Again: All connected buildings will be provided by one connection. You don't need to provide to every building at any time. So i.e. if you provide to your workshop, your greenhouse, dome, garage etc will have water and oxygen. The total sum of all buildings usage can be seen in the top of the console along the pathway in the workshop.

You have to press and hold the lever for it to open, and connect water/power to all the buildings. Soil is made from silica in the composter
Use the pump connect 3 Wells on out you was just one connection and you will combine three water wells. You also can connect a pump to another pump and in this way connect more wells.

Ok bud, as it doesn't tell you anywhere in the game, im going to tell you this, that symbol is soil, you get soil by putting silicon into the composter. Took me ages to figure it out. It really needs to be in the game somewhere, but it isn't. Trial and error is the only way i found out.
The pump does combine the pipes, but really you should be looking at getting about 12 wells down, only 1 should have the extensions, and that is not used for the base, its for the rover and you. the other 11, or 12 if you wanted to so it that way would go 3 wells into a pump, into another pump into the base, so you would have 9 wells going into 1 socket on the base, i also added a large tank outside the base so it stores all the water there and is showing on the tablets in the base, same reason i go from the battery into the base, this way it shows whats stored directly entering the base, and so i can see how much i have stored without going anywhere.
Again, nowhere in the game does it tell you this, and it really should, even if it doesnt explain it completely, it should mention something somewhere.
On the placing things and it keeps showing red, i found its usually cause im in the way, so when you want to place something, walk backwards with it, this way you move out of the way, rather than into the way. It helped me.
you need the Well Pump to combine wells and tanks for extra storage.
storage is essential and you can never have enough.
add the O2 generator and the methane reactor with their tanks to make extra O2 to have at hand for the base and rover.
the Anti-Meteor Missile kits are made in the Large Rock Crusher's production unit.
my guess is you build them at one of the benches to load into the launcher to stop Meteors from leveling your base.
Bio waste goes into Composter.
Composter makes Soil
the mystery resource in the greenhouse fields and domes is silicon ore... put some in the composter and process it then crank the number on the controlpanel up... this setting can stay...
(1 per plant per field / 9 per plant in the domes)
...edit: to open the hangar door click the open/close switch on the part that's marked 'OPEN'...
Good episode - full of all the issues players have faced. I think most have been answered by the helpful commenters - soil, hangar door, water pumps, delete items into bin. However I have seen various views on the antenna - in my experience it adds a greenish glow to the circled view you have anyway, it may be very slightly bigger or smaller, then when you leave there area the greenish glow remains as a circle but it doesn’t actually show any detail of that area. So instead of blackness with any markers you have placed, you have “greenness” and those markers. Seems it is not to remove the “fog of war” which is a shame.
Maybe click on the upper part of the lever in the garage, the part you clicking on is for closing so maybe thats the problem.

No, you can see through the window. What is described is because the person writing it was on lowest settings. ;-) Then you see some blurry martian landscape without anything put there.

The BIG CRUSHER has a built-in 3D Printer. You can then make all the different Rover trailers including the one that allows you to store and haul building materials. With some creative usage you'll have all the storage you need. You can also create entire buildings in its 3D Printer to be carried around in your pocket and plopped down where ever you want to build an instant base. Pre-Fab buildings FTW!!!
To open the garage door u need to look at the lever till it says use looking at the open part of it (will say use on open) nd then click and hold the right mouse button nd u will see the lever move nd the door will open up for u
I had the same issues and struggled with this forever. Everywhere else you just grab the handle to toggle...
The storage locker was bugged and couldn't be placed, so they fixed it and replaced it with the fridge (including powerusage) of Botany. So sorry, no. No access to your stored items in case of an outage, no more storage, and more powerusage. That's it. At least in this point in time.
I enjoyed watching this, even with the problems.
Try holding down CTRL while you click a bundle. It switches container doing that :)
Just a query? why not remove the small solar panels and build all Mediums? wouldn't that be more efficient use of the space? Loveing this series. Devs might want to do another couple of QoL passes but looks fun. Glad your feeling better.
Cant put bigger ones up there but also like to keep the where I started thing. Also really dont NEED to change em so dont want to spend the time to do it lol
Eh, need could be argued. They're consuming resources you could potentially use somewhere else by being more efficient
Then again, efficiency has never bothered me (more a matter of course than frustration) but IK most people dislike it
@@Altair1243WAR honestly med solar panels are bugged as hell i removed all my small ones with hopes to replace my whole power system grid but med solar have a placement bug like he had with the radar (stuck in ground can't raise to be able to place) so now my base looks fugly has hell with med solars all over wherever the game allowed me to place them. i honestly considered remove them i so i can place the small ones back nice and orderly
@@Shawnchapp The placement thing isn't necessarily a bug, but is probably ay least a miatake by the dev. Regardless, it's probably not THAT bad anyways amd they're still superior

You need to hold the lever to open the garage over over the lever where it says open and hold the click button it should open

pump can input 3 water hose or oxygen or methane and 3 output you can change it from the screen of pump just click the icons
You might want to try pulling your rover up to the shop door to see if that opens it up
You can also do a transformer upgrade which will give you more input and output points to your array
Pay attention to your cursor when you put the cursor hand on an object underneath the hand that tells you what to do like use close open but if you're going to put the hand on the closed section expect to open it you're wrong!!

2:00 what does the automatic Rock lifting do
It's in the mechanics section of the skill tree
Pushing e when the + is green over a rock automatically grabs it and puts it in the back of the truck. It's a bit slower then me grabbing it but useful when something is in a place by the wheel or something you cant manually grab without moving
On the screen where is says water, oxygen and methane, I think you can click where you can switch it from one recourse to another? Like all water,O2 or whatever?
The CO2 scrubber won't tell you how much power it uses because it's usage is variable depending on settings
The storage cabinet and the fridge are pretty much the same thing and do the same thing
Does the solar storm have any benefits...like extra power at night or charge the batteries

Cause I was heavily medicated from the dental surgery I had a little over a day before. After this didnt record for a week and a half cause I was healing up
