The reason the doors dont immediately open is "Pressure". There is a difference in pressure from one side of the door to the other. It needs time to sort out the difference in pressure to auto open, if it doesn't, you might get thrown around from the change in pressure and die.
In any of the 3D printers(the survival pod, 3D printer in your base or the big crusher) there is a button at the top left that says decorations. click that. LOL
Im sure i read in the update a couple of days ago that they have sorted the change in view all the time. so it shouldn't do that anymore, but im guessing this is still from before.
No one saw anything, those pumps were like that when you arrived, The ghosts of Mars struck again, LMAO.

Healing is going slow and meds are an actual nightmare this time but slowly getting better. And ya I never noticed the decorations tab lol so gotta check that out in the future
There is Decorations button at the top part of the printer's UI

To get decorations, go to your printer or the grinder and look at the top for Decoration tab, press and you will find signs and other things to build.
Jam packed episode. Game is getting really quite in depth - need a day to explore and loot/grind down bases, a day to build, a day to grind rocks, a day to farm. Do all in one day? Unfortunately not! Still best game I have played for a long, long time.
I love the domes, they look so cool with the trees growing. I look forward to seeing the big one filled with vegetables, too. 😊
Hey Grill.....instead of walking around all over the place, why not use the ATV to get around the base faster and easier????...... there's a place where you can build Many different things

@23:50 also on your map the left icons select what you want to check and click a building
@28:20 jetpack makes moving around faster and can do 15km in one full fill up, just have basatier for O2 and methane to refuel it
That damaged corridor is where you use the universal panels in your store. Equip them in your hot bar, press the relevant number and a green image will appear in the correct place - they are a bit fiddly.
To get decorations, go to your printer and look for a Decoration tab at the top of the menu, press and you will find signs and other things to build. I believe the material science bench and the other 2 science benches have Customization tabs to study ( may not be in game yet)) that will give you other toys to play with. To get the large dome and that one hall to line up, is you may have to use a tube that varies hight. You large dome is slightly higher then you hall way in the back. You also need a composter in the large dome. I noticed you are having a lot of Squirrel moments today.
Ya meds super acrewing with me atm and still got a week of em to go through. Never had the issues I've had with them like this before but between them and pain hard to fully focus x.x

the pump and pump extension are a work in progress so they will probably change on next major update
On the blueprints screen there is actually a decorations tab next to the blueprints tab 😅

Talking of storage, I read some comments on another channel that you could build the container that goes on the back of the rover but place it down outside your base instead and use it like the containers we see at other bases. It is built on the large crusher but I haven’t tried it yet cos I am currently 10km away from my crusher. The commenter said “press T to place it”. Not really sure what that means - does it go in your inventory? But could be a game changer for storage.
the Rover acts as a hook truck. you can swap out the dump bed for the container then back up to where you want it placed look up and "press" the unhook(?) button on the upper display

Getting 11 oxygen for 8 power is better than the wells. Each well provides what 2 oxygen? and needs at least 5 kw power and the expansion, tanks and cables and a pump to combine it all, and can be affected by sand storms, and need a battery to work through the night. Conquer any fear of Co2 scrubbers folks! Just check the numbers before you switch on. I have never seen any numbers change day to day.
If you want light in your dome when there isn't anything Planted, just set the demand in electricity at 0.1.

That partially complete hallway with no floor - I saw another YT'r have same corridor after connecting two buildings, iirc he was able to build parts to fill in the floor and top panels. They were under decoration iirc? If you don't see anything I can find his video and re-watch
it is silicon (sila-con con pronounced as con from pro v con) not silicone. silicone is a derivative of silicon.

Does having some of the solar panels in the shade of the ones in front mean you get less power or if you spaced them out would you get more
Na luckily that doesnt have a play on power, several placesare slightly shaded but doesnt seem to effect anything
It's comical that you can just lift whole trees out of the ground... and put them in a small tray. I'm hoping you'll start upgrading your crops so they'll produce more oxygen.
How are you changing the oxygen production? On my PC I cannot us the different levers and knobs on the CO2 scrubber.
Some you can use, and others you can’t. Inside the glass cabinet there are two levers in the middle, and one wheel at the bottom right. Just hold the mouse over these and see if you get them highlighted - if you do, left click to use them. Outside the glass there is a wheel and a lever on the left - only the wheel can be moved - and on the right hand side there is a lever which cannot be moved. When you first start up the scrubber it will produce low oxygen but use low power. You don’t have to make any changes - just switch it on. However you can play about a bit - but must always keep temperature below 100 and oxygen as high as possible and power as low as possible and always check the screen before pressing start.
