It is good to hear John Piper standing firm on this issue. God is God, and He has chosen to make men and women, and we have absolutely no right to try to alter that. It is arrogance in the extreme. True, God has given us many freedoms, but these are within the limits of His created order. If we use the pronoun 'he' for a woman or 'she' for a man, we are caving to some extent to an evil ideology. We need to love people who are confused in this way, but we must love without compromising our values.
