Wow , what an humble guy, stay grounded and real, it's so refreshing to hear him say how lucky we are to be playing music in the spotlight. For every Luke Combs that gets a deal, there are a thousand great musicians who will never be recognized, some of the most talented singers and musicians in the world for whatever reason, they might not have a great personality or smile or they had to work to support a family, get passed over and only a lucky few hit it big. He has the ability to touch alot of people and through Honesty ,let people know that he's Very fortunate,as apposed to telling a story about how he had to Fight to be an Outlaw.
It would be so humbling to have an opportunity to speak to Kix Brooks as a peer in the music industry... to get career advice from half of one of the biggest duo's in country music history... I hope that he keeps the memories of where he came from and even though he's talented,he still remembers how lucky he is!

Chico Beanz “when it rains it pours” is figurative language it means that when something bad happens a bunch of other bad things happen but he is using it sarcastically in that song.

Brooks and Dunn was one of the handful of CD’s we bought the day our family got the first CD player. That record was just slammed with hits.
