    Hello guys. My name is Syed Muhammad Waqas and welcome to my channel MEP Engineering tutorials. On this channel you will find alot of tutorials related to MEP Specifically HVAC field
    In this video I am gonna explain you guys how you can properly size your air terminals based on your calculated CFM. It's important to properly size your air terminal to get proper air flow rate. So i will show you how you can do sizing of rectangular air terminals. Also I am gonna discuss one more thing in this video that is how you can do air balancing in HVAC ducts after installation (duct traverse procedure). It's important to do air balancing after hvac ducts installation to get designed air flow

      400 is cfm/tr
      144 is formula to get area .

    • @MEPEngineeringTutorials
      @MEPEngineeringTutorials  4 года назад +1

      That's correct

      Fayaz shaik this 400 factor comes due to thumb rule 1tr = 400CFM. And this 144 comes due to a conversion factor of square ft to square inches.

      Sir I find your videos very helpful for my project on VRF system. Could you please provide your email/contact details, i wanna discuss with you about my project. I actually want to integrate a ventilation system (DOAS) with VRF system for a complete ACMV solution for large buildings. I have no idea how to start the desigining of this hybrid system.
