Whenever I was looking for sony E-mount lenses, I got surprised Arthur already covered them. His reviews are not just reading product specs nor throwing random personal opinions. It's really well sorted information I can take advantage of. I really thank him.
I've had all three of these lenses for a year now. And I love them! I checked to see how much I use each of them. Of the pictures I've imported to Lightroom 82% is taken with the 30mm, 11% with the 56mm and 7% with the 16mm.
What a great, practical discussion of this trio and how they can make a great kit. Congratulations on the birth of your son! While the technical aspects of the images you showed are interesting and important, their value is in the family memories that will be priceless in the years to come. Make sure they are stored and labeled in ways that your grandchildren will know what they are!
as a beginner, this is the only channel that really helped me to choose my lens. you explain everything so good and I have all the informtion needed. thanks!
Loved the video. Thanks for including us in some of your family time. You forget that there is very apparent distortion between the lenses which is even more important than addressing the bokeh. The 16mm is not flattering at all for portraits because of the distortion. The question should be what types of pictures do you want to take? 16mm great for landscape and group shots. 30mm is a great all around lens. 56mm is best for portraits because the face looks more natural as it would to the naked eye. There is a crop factor involved but that only affects the crop and not the distortion. Big fan. I've learned a lot from your channel. Started w a 6000 then recently purchased a 6500. I own the 56 and the 30 plus the 19mm and 60mm sigmas. Please post the 56mm vs the 85mm FE. Thanks again.
2019, I attended my first photography workshop learned so much and with the help of your videos I just bought my first prime lens, can't wait to take my photography to the next level.
First of all, what sadsacks click on dislike ???? So believe it or not, i just sold my A7RII and went back to a new A6000. Always love the A6000s since i bought my first one some years ago. I had both the A7RII and A6000 on a recent trip to New Zealand and captured some amazing images using only the A6000. 82 meg raw files drove me crazy on the A7RII. As I only post to social media and sometimes print to canvas, APSC photos works fine. Have 3x 1000mm x750mm canvases on my wall and they were all taken with the APSC system. First lens after buying the A6000 again was the Sigma 16mm. Had one before and they are amazing. So once again, your my go to guy for APSC
I owe you a big thank you. I recently purchased a Sony a6400 and based on your recommendation and review of the Sigma 16mm that’s the lens I got with it. All I can say is, amazing. I wish I could post pictures with this to show people the amazing shots I got with it on a moonless night in my backyard taking pictures of reflections off my pool with just what Ambient light there was reflecting off a thin cloud layer and the light coming through the windows of my house. At f /2.2 and iso 2500 and 4 sec.shutter if it wasn’t for the overly bright windows you would swear that picture was taken at high noon on a clear summer day. The pool has a fairly dark blue Pebble Tech bottom as opposed to a white plaster. Despite this you can easily make out the individual leaves of the trees around the pool in their reflections. In fact they are even green. Not only that but there is a very prominent shadow of the house in the reflection that you can’t tell is there with the naked eye. But even in this shadow the texture of the Pebble Tech is plainly visible. Of course I used a tripod but not the shutter delay, yet everything is very sharp and clear. My wife was not nearly as impressed as I was when I woke her up at 1:30 in the morning to show her this amazing photograph. I don’t know why..lol. I’m an Airline Pilot and I can’t wait for my next trip to Amsterdam and go roaming around. Thank you again for your excellent reviews q
Seeing the Sigma trifecta in one video makes me happy even though I only have one of them. The photos you shot tell a story. I love that. I am sure the little guy will appreciate them one day. :)
Your video helps a lot, I just recently bought Sony a6000.. I know it’s old but still great camera. Then I paired it with a Sigma 16mm f 1.4 which is great for my hobby - hiking and backpacking.
I have the Sigma 30 mm f/1.4 and I'm in love with it; I don't have issues with the autofocus because I shoot with manual focus most of the time. I'm going to buy the Sigma 16 mm and later the Sigma 56 mm, I think are the best lenses out there for the price and for the quality.
Those 3 lenses are making me think twice about upgrading to full frame. I have the 30mm f1.4 DC DN and Sony fe 85mm f1.8. God bless Sigma. I do hope they come out with a 16-50 f2.
I use an adapted a mount sony 16-50 2.8, for a total for around $200. Best decision ever. I can also adapt another 55-300 4.5-5.6 as well, which let me get 300mm at 5.6 for $150
Those are some amazing sample photos. Your life is so filled with beauty, I really appreciate your sharing with us. Especially those wide shots on the beach with the 30mm - wow. Good equipment with genuine talent.
I have and idea or something like that for a video, why not a comparison between all the sigma lens? All the APS-C, 16mm, 19mm, 30mm (1.4/2.8), 56mm and 60mm to see it performance in low light and the main point I'm interested, taking the same picture on a tripot just switching lens to have an idea in the difference of mm and it real point of view. You are the greatest A6000 owners Channel, I thing it would be a great video comparing all sigma lenses. I am wondering on getting the 16mm 1.4 and then getting the old sigma lenses in EBAY for 100 box or something like that to have a little kit for traveling. At the moment I'm owning my A6000 with the 16-50mm kit lens and a Neewer 35mm 1.7 that I pick up for 40 box on Amazon.
I purchased the Sigma 16mm f1.4 for my Sony a6000. I find that it is an excellent overall lens. It is sharp, clear, and focuses well (but noisily!) I find the lens especially useful in low light scenarios. On two trips to Italy, the lens works wonders in the rather dark chapels, cathedrals, and duomos. In most of them, flash is not permitted and the Sony camera combined with the Sigma lens still produces excellent, well-lit shots. The lack of stabilization is an issue but with care you can still get some great shots with this combination.
Great vid! For travel, I like my Sony 18-135. I hate changing lenses when taking in the sights I use the Sigma 16 on a tripod for videos when talking to camera on my channel. Very sharp. Nice colors. Perfect for that. Yes, external audio required if using autofocus I really like the Sony 35mm and 50mm for pics of friends and family at parties, holidays, etc. Food pics. I don’t see the need to “upgrade” to lenses without OSS. Of course, if I had the a6500...
You are the reason I quit my web business and started following my passion for video just a few months ago. I started with the Sony a6000 and then the 16mm. I'm more happy now than I've ever been. I've shot every music video and studio session for Bad Weather Records using that camera and 16mm lense. I now have to get the 56mm!! I just want to say thanks for the motivation and inspiration!
So as of a few days ago I now have 2/3 of the these and couldn't be happier. Have had the 16 for several months and just got the 30 the other day. Took it to car show yesterday and love it. The 30 will be what is on my camera all the time except for landscapes and any real close ups. I have the Sony 50mm 1.8 already or I would get the 56. I wouldn't mind selling that and upgrading but I'm good for now. Totally agree with you on everything, these are the best options to keep with you and travel with.
Hi, Few times in your video, you always pick Sony 35mm F1.8 vs Sigma 30mm F1.4. I am curious whether your opinion still remains the same? Or you have changed your mind. Thanks and I look forward to hearing your thought. Regards,
Good video and very relevant for many a6x00 users. As a enthusiast photo dad i have been shooting with the a7rii with GM lenses the last years but since i added the a6500 with the sigma trio i shoot almost all my photos with the new setup. The new 56mm is just what was missing for the aps-c line. Image quality is great and you cant beat the compactness of this system. Give us a 16-55/70 2.8zoom now dear sony :)
Great reviews! I've owned the Sigma 30mm/f1.4 for a couple years now. Based largely on your excellent, easy-going reviews and some other factors, I recently bought the 16mm/f1.4 and love it. Today, I pulled the trigger on the 56mm/f1.4. I find your reviews line up exactly with mine, and that helps me to make buying decisions. While I have a few Sony lenses, my kit is going to be exactly like your recent travel kit...an A6000 with the Sigma trio. I absolutely love the quality and sharpness of Sigma lenses! If and when I can finally step up to a full-frame camera such as the A7iii, I'll buy the body only and likely fit Sigma lenses on it. Thanks, and keep up the great work!
It’s nice to see videos extolling three multiple lens kit for travel photography. Admittedly, I carried more than three and lugged a heavy camera bag on my travels. In reality, a single zoom is all we need for travel. And on their own, all lens are sharp.
I bought the Sigma 16mm f1.4 and couldn't be happier. I have the Sony a6000 with the two kit zoom lens but was looking for something with a little more wide angle prior to our trip to Italy. It was a great addition to my kit lenses.
This Sigma trio is spot on from Sigma in terms of great, great value. I see another vacuum or opportunity for Sigma which is the 70-200 F4. Come out with similar quality and much cheaper like the trio which are well known for quality vs price, Sigma would have the Sony's APS-C market cornered towards them.
I had the 16mm and 30mm when I visited Italy. Throughout the trip, the 30mm stayed in the bag. The 16mm is really versatile, I used it for architecture, interiors and group photos, and when I needed to take some close-ups, I zoomed with my feet instead of pulling out the 30mm. My experience with both lenses is the 16mm can do alot of what the 30mm does and much more. Additionally, I seem to notice that with regards to autofocus, the 16mm are more consistently reliable whereas the 30mm has a bit more tendency in producing off-focus images
it's not just about zooming in with your feet or not, different focal lengths will give you a different background appearance even if your subject is proportionate to the framing in all photos.
Its so cool that you've stayed with the A6000, I have too and have found that camera to tremendously reliable. As a wedding shooter it my primary back-up to the A7III. Quite often it is a shot from that camera that makes it to the client. I use it with the Touit 32mm f1.8 and the E 18-105mm f4.
I was totally going to sell my Rokinon and Pick up this lens (as I love my Sigma 30mm 1.4). I hate collecting lenses and like having a max of 3 lenses at any one time. However Sigma recently released their 18-50mm F2.8 compact zoom which has great quality (maybe 80% of the primes). This makes my choice much easier, keep the 30mm F1.4 since I find it the best versatile walk around/indoor lens, the Rokinon 12mm (maybe swap for Autofocus) for Stars, Landscapes, creatives, and the Sigma for the walk around. Cannot justify the 16mm F 1.4 when I now can have an 18mm F 2.8. If you use your camera for video at night then I can see the advantage of 16mm F1.4 but I am strictly a photographer. Plus if I needed video I'm fine with graining at higher ISO. Thoughts? I'm about to have a baby and am wondering if a fast tele (or even 56mm F1.4) is usefull. I used to use the Sony 18-135mm zoom for travel but never really liked the photos in many of the shots and was forced to really push in lightroom. Sigma always looked good. Any suggestions?
ReflectingMe 85mm on APS-C is WAY too zoomed in, and only useful for head portraits and maybe some full body portraits (although you have to be far away from the subject, and sometimes that’s reflected on the model’s expression). 56mm for APS-C (equivalent to 84mm for Full Frame) is way more convenient and useful for many types of portraits and other photos. Of course if you have a use for a longer focal length, the 85mm is awesome, but keep in mind that you are paying for a Full Frame lens and you will not be using more than half of its image (by putting it on an APS-C camera). UNLESS you plan to upgrade to Full Frame in the future 😆.
I like the 85 1.8 on my a6000. Sharp and fast with impressive subject background separation. Downside is I have to be relatively far from the subject at 127.5mm FF equivalent.
Thank you for this video! I have the 16mm and now because of this recommendation of yours, the 56 is my next :) i think i can get away with all the shots i need from landscape, group and my personal favorite, portrait shots. Thank you again for making this video God bless you and your family.
Love your channel! I’m hopping from Fuji (XT5) to Sony (A6700). Gonna get the Sigma trilogy. I can’t decide if my Sigma “trilogy” will be the 23, 30 and 56 or the 16, 23 and 56. Or…the 18-50, 23 and 56!!! I should mention that I have the Fuji X100V and it’s got the 23 (35 equivalent). I’m a professional portrait and headshot photographer and do an occasional family session. The 23 and 56 are my favorite focal lengths. 56 for headshots and 23 for family, wedding, environmental portraits, etc. If you were gonna get just three lenses to Sony, what would you choose as your “Trilogy”?
if you are about to buy one of those and you are not sure, which one to pick: 16mm great for landscape, night sky, architecture, street photography. 30mm great "allrounder". A classic nifty-fifty on APS-C. 56mm fantastic for any kind of portrait! Can be used for street, architecture equally good. If I would have to pick one, I'd go for the 56mm, because I mainly take pictures of people, family, friends.
this again is the best comparison scenario for me because i want these lenses for familiy foto shooting. And you provided some amazing material. Thank you very much
I'm a newbie and still thinking which camera should I buy. Sony released a6400, which is not what I'm expecting. Well, I guess I'll stick to a6500 haha XD
Hi Arthur! For photography, would you say there’s a HUGE difference between the images of a A6000 and a A6400? I know the A6400 is a lot more $$ than the A6000 so I’m having trouble picking one. Is the extra $$ in the A6400 worth it for still photography? Or do they produce the same quality photos? Thanks!
Such a great trio! I always notice that your shots are always perfectly exposed. You use just the histogram? Or just your eye without a checking anything? ✌🏻
Yea, I noticed that too. I think the secret is the A6000 shooting in Aperture mode with auto ISO. That camera is very reliable in decent light, I have returned the A6300 and the A6500 sticking with that body.
First thing, as always thank you for the video. Second, without needing to be said but I will anyway you have a beautiful family. Third, I just put that Sony bag in my cart on Amazon. Fourth, my issue with the a6000 and using any lens let alone the 16 and 30 is the ability to keep resolution when cropping photos especially in low light even at 1.4. When I need low light I still reach for my D750 and primes. It handles noise so well. I would imagine it would be like using the a7iii. I WISH the a6000 could hold better resolution at low light without needing a tripod. In good light or OCF like I love using it is amazing.
Only problem with the 16mm for portraits is facial distortion, which you can see in your comparison photo. Also wondering if EyeAF would've helped your focus issue. Big fan of your channel! 👍
The core lenses used with my Sony A6300 has been the Sony 35 mm and 50 mm both F 1.8. I have known about the Sigma lenses for about a year and have been waiting for the next APS-C upgrade (i.e. Sony 7000) which will have IBIS before I buy the Sigma lenses which do not have in body stabilization. But Sigma put on a sale and I bit buying the 30 mm and 56 mm. These lenses are as advertised: sharper than the Sony analogs and offering a half a stop of aperture. The F1.4 offers thinner DOF so you subject sits in a blur of background. My useablity tests are ad hoc and home grown. The main questions are: 1) Is the autofocus fast enough to keep the flow of work going?, 2) As I review the photos in post, I always have mis-focused shots. Do the Sigma lenses cause a higher level of out of focused pictures., and 3) Are the color tones natural. To my surprise the 30 and 56 mm passed all three tests with flying colors. But to my surprise I found the Sigma lenses to transmit more light than the Sonys. I believe this falls under the "T Stop" definition. When I shoot inside, I enable the camera to select ISO to expose for a shutter speed of 1/125 second. I manipulate F stop to get the shot. With the Sony lenses, I am always at F 1.8 and the camera is motoring to ISO 2000. I know the pictures will be grainy so I may be forced to use flash which has its own hassles. Lo and behold, the Sigma lenses never went above ISO 600 when the aperture was nominally F 1.6. This phenomenon persisted in outdoor shots. In sum the new Sigma lenses are worth the cost.
I'd want to blame on your VDO. The A6400, 18-105 F4, and 50 F1.8 have all been here with me since I watched you reviews. Now, Im going to get Sigma....
So the 16mm i would not use for portraits. People always looking like they have a big nose even if they don't have. It's ok for getting snapshots inside with limited space but also there you can learn to deal with the 30mm. The 16 is a typical landscape wide angle lens for me, if i want to capture people, i beginn with 30mm around.
Great stuff. I used to own the original three f/2.8 lenses in M43 mount. Strangely enough, the 30mm f/2.8 suffered similar focussing problems to the 30mm f/1.4. Again, the 60mm was the best, followed by the 19mm, with the 30mm lagging slightly behind. I must say that the 16mm and 56mm e mounts could well find their way into my current kit, although I own a 14mm Samyang which is stunningly sharp, but is manual focus so pretty slow to use.....
Just one important thing for portraits that isn't mentioned in the video beside the background wideness is how much distortion you get on your subject. If you look at the comparision (9:57) you'll notice how her face is distorted the most with the 16mm lens because of how close he needs to be to her to fill the frame with her. Her nose looks much bigger compared to the rest of her face because it's closest to the camera, obviously bigger than in reality. Her face doesn't resemble how she looks in reality very well with the 16mm lens. The 56mm is the best choice if you want to have the least distortion in close head shots, but the 30mm will work fine too, especially when doing half/full body shots. I'm sure you'll see it if you look at the comparision again now.
Valid point - the example is a pretty close up shot with the 16mm, hence the distortion. If you look at the indoor photo samples, it is a lot less of an issue.
Just ordered Sigma 16/1.4 from Amazon. Excited to get it delivered. But the only problem is there is no OSS, and I'm using Sony a6300, that is missing EIS.
9:56 the distortion when shooting that close with a 16mm creates a fun house mirror effect, as your comparison shows (exaggerated nose). Any wide angle lens would. I would only do portraits with the 30mm or longer.
Hey Dear you earn a subscriber today.. Great comparison for lens to use on a6000. I just purchased a6000 and your vedios are helping me a lot to understand the camera and lens thank you. And your baby is too cute god bless him. Love from India 🇮🇳. Only one question all these Raw pictures or after editing.
I own all 3 of these lenses for the Canon M-mount. Everything he said is true about autofocus and it drove me crazy before figuring it out. I’m contemplating selling the 16mm and the 30mm and replacing them with the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 with the speedbooster. But I’ve heard that lens suffers from autofocus issues as well. Anyone have experience with all 3 and can give some thoughts on whether this would be a worthwhile trade off?
I have the A6000 and am considering one of these (not sure which one yet), as well as the 35mm Sony (for OSS) mostly for video use. Maybe I'll get 35mm and one of the sigmas. We'll see, great review!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! The Sigma 16 & 30MM lens. I also have the G Series 18-105mm, I actually don't use that one as much. Definitely thinking of switching it out for the 56mm Sigma.
@@Lucas-zd6ps I ended up selling my 18-105mm. I just stuck with the 16mm and 30mm. Can't go wrong with all 3. Honestly, the 16mm and 30 covered my needs.
I have all three of them. I just came to watch this to feel good about it. :P
haha
Lol same
Also, to show off that you have them all 😄

Oh yes, 24mm f1.4 and 56mm f1.4 is really what I want!
Maybe at 22f1.4.
22 feels more 35 than 24 in my experience. ✌️
@@-grey it's not quite the same.
want to sign a petition for sigma to start making them? :P
Viltrox is going to launch 23mm 1.4 in weeks. Looking at their 85mm 1.8 full frame lens, I hope it's going to be no worse than sigma.

You have a beautiful family....man I love your channel....so easy to listen to you and you're very honest and informative....thank you sir. Bless you
Great vid!
For travel, I like my Sony 18-135. I hate changing lenses when taking in the sights
I use the Sigma 16 on a tripod for videos when talking to camera on my channel. Very sharp. Nice colors. Perfect for that. Yes, external audio required if using autofocus
I really like the Sony 35mm and 50mm for pics of friends and family at parties, holidays, etc.
Used the 56 indoors for the family dinner over the holidays.... I was very excited about the shots I got.. would definitely recommend for indoors.
Congrats on the baby!!! Those three make quite a kit, you have everything covered and you'll be great. Great choices! Thank you!
Hi,
Few times in your video, you always pick Sony 35mm F1.8 vs Sigma 30mm F1.4.
Which lens do you use the most?
It’s nice to see videos extolling three multiple lens kit for travel photography. Admittedly, I carried more than three and lugged a heavy camera bag on my travels. In reality, a single zoom is all we need for travel. And on their own, all lens are sharp.
I bought the Sigma 16mm f1.4 and couldn't be happier. I have the Sony a6000 with the two kit zoom lens but was looking for something with a little more wide angle prior to our trip to Italy. It was a great addition to my kit lenses.
Which lens did you find yourself using most of the time.
Which lens did you find yourself using most of the time?
@@albert333pool I shot 840 with the Sigma 16mm; 336 with the Sony 55-210 kit lens; and 1262 with the Sony 16-50 kit lens.
@@philipcolumbus3054 Oh wow... That 16-50 is perfect for just grab and go. I bet you took some amazing pics!
Congratulations! He is very cute and deserves to be the new star of your videos.
Nice Review 😃 and IF thats grandpa and grandma they look very happy to be grandparents.
I miss my Sony a6000.😟 but I see them on sale.
I just got my sigma 16mm used but excellent condition for $325 so happy, added to my sigma 30mm and sony 50.
I have sigma 16mm and thinking of getting the 30mm? Should I go? and Why?
I have those same 3 lenses! love it
I had the 16mm and 30mm when I visited Italy.
Portrait / people pics with 16mm will never be as good as compared to 30mm & 56mm.
it's not just about zooming in with your feet or not, different focal lengths will give you a different background appearance even if your subject is proportionate to the framing in all photos.
Boy oh boy...the pictures are super duper sweet .. blessed family... God bless u😊
i like how you clearly and calmly do this👍
i pulled the trigger on the 30mm lens . cant wait to try it out .
congratulation on the baby, thanks for always provide great and informative videos
Wow! Excellent photos and family!! Good job.
Excellent review. I carry all 3 but also toss in the 18-135 in my bag.
This review is very timely for me as I’m considering either the Sigma 56mm 1.4 or the Sony 84mm 1.8. Great comparison on these three super lenses.
Foto4Max thanks. Yep, I have the A6300. I have the 30mm Sigma 1.4 and love it. Just not sure of the reach of the 56mm compared to the 84mm. Pondering.
It’s a world of difference imo with the sigma 30 the worst out of the trio and the 56 the best
Awesome family pix congrats on your family addition. Very sharp portraits
I’ve been watching all your phots and have a baby on the way. Thank you for all your work! This video was really helpful
If these three lenses had image stabilization, they would literaly be perfect... a man can dream....
Congrats on the baby! Great pics!
I got Sigma 30mm f1.4, it's very sharp. Can't wait to get 16mm f1.4 next
sigma needs to make a 16 50 f2.8 for E-mount.. they will sell like hot cakes
Still waiting
still waiting
and waiting
I'd buy that really quick!

Thank you for this video! I have the 16mm and now because of this recommendation of yours, the 56 is my next :) i think i can get away with all the shots i need from landscape, group and my personal favorite, portrait shots. Thank you again for making this video God bless you and your family.
Great video and commentary. Thank you for your honesty. Congratulations to the new addition.
Nice job, thanks. I have the 16mm one and love it for my A6500. Cheers
if you are about to buy one of those and you are not sure, which one to pick:
16mm great for landscape, night sky, architecture, street photography.
30mm great "allrounder". A classic nifty-fifty on APS-C.
56mm fantastic for any kind of portrait! Can be used for street, architecture equally good.
If I would have to pick one, I'd go for the 56mm, because I mainly take pictures of people, family, friends.
I have all 3 for my ZVE10 and it’s amazing
this again is the best comparison scenario for me because i want these lenses for familiy foto shooting. And you provided some amazing material. Thank you very much
Finally, been waiting for this. Need to save money and I hope Sony will release a6700/a7000. Thanks for the review.
Seriously you and me both! Waiting for the A7000......
I'm a newbie and still thinking which camera should I buy. Sony released a6400, which is not what I'm expecting. Well, I guess I'll stick to a6500 haha XD
Lovely family! I've got the 18-105 4 and the 50 1.8, now trying to decide between the 16 and 30 you reviewed to complete my kit and both look amazing
Or just your eye without a
checking anything? ✌🏻
Oh, Hi, Kyle.
Honestly just using A mode in normal lighting conditions exposes 95% of shots correctly.
Yea, I noticed that too. I think the secret is the A6000 shooting in Aperture mode with auto ISO. That camera is very reliable in decent light, I have returned the A6300 and the A6500 sticking with that body.
Oh hi Kyle
Hi.. Good to see you here. BTW I am your subscriber too.
In good light or OCF like I love using it is amazing.
nicely done. thank you so much for a detail video recap for all three lenses, specially for a beginner.
Only problem with the 16mm for portraits is facial distortion, which you can see in your comparison photo. Also wondering if EyeAF would've helped your focus issue. Big fan of your channel! 👍
This was your best video yet!
Just got the sigma 56 for Rs26000 ($369) it was way too good of a deal for a lens that just came out.
From where did you buy it?
Congrats to you both for the new model! & that 56!!!
Wow, great photos !!! Love's videos from your channel 👍👍👍
for the 56mm f1.4 i noticed that the 'greenish' thing sometimes show up, must carry the lens hood then it would be super !
Combination of 16mm & 30mm vs 18-35mm. Which one you prefer and which should be better on a6300
Very helpful it's my first time watching you learned a lot just starting out I'll keep watching trying to learn a lot more it's a lot to learn
You’re going to have a ball photographing your little one, excellent review as always.
Wow! Been looking for this review of lenses!!! Thank you so much Arthur! Keep doing honest reviews like this! God bless you!
lovely family. love your explanation, really clear!
Remember the alpha series are aps-c crop sensor cameras, so 16mm is around 24mm, 30 is around 45mm, and 56 is around 80mm.
Unique Stance I own both, trust me uppgrading to fullframe is always a good idea =) !
Seeing tiny new born baby I can see why 112mm will be awesome focal range for your subject!
alpha 6000 + 30mm F1.4 = happy person. I am really thinking about gettin the 56mm next. #gottacollectemall
Thank you for your video, nice pictures of your little family
congrats on your new addition
beautiful family, congratulations buddy🙏
9:56 the distortion when shooting that close with a 16mm creates a fun house mirror effect, as your comparison shows (exaggerated nose). Any wide angle lens would. I would only do portraits with the 30mm or longer.
Congratulations on your baby!!
Nice !!! I have that same bag too I use it when I travel too I also have a bigger bag for long distance travels with extra stuff
I trust your reviews on lenses and I’m a nooby to photography and I appreciate it!!!
Excellent video. I bought the Sigma 56mm, waiting for a sale on the 16mm. Quick question, do you use protection filters on any of your lenses.
I really want a 16mm Sigma ...its on my list to buy for sure. The other 2 don't really fit my needs.
You're a good man Arthur ! Great video
@@Lucas-zd6ps honestly, if it were me for the price of the 16-55mm I would just go Full Frame at that point.
