There's a way into the big tunnels. You have to go through the rail yard and climb down a rocky slope. The tunnel on the far left is completely dry, There's a big ramp in front of the tunnels, making them look flooded when you view from the first tunnel. I used to explore those tunnels a few years back, even walking all the way to the harbor.
Do you know anything about getting into the "ghost rivers" streams that flow into the Jones Falls? I see that smaller tunnel in the video of something flowing in.
University of Baltimore used to have maps/cross-sections showing where the Jones Falls flooded in the late 1800s I believe - I think they used it in the construction of the old tunnels.
It’s so sad! I can visualise how beautiful that river area was before. Christchurch in NZ has similar rivers running through the city and it’s just gorgeous. I’d love to see even just one video of what you love about Baltimore Dan. Just one! Please? ETA the park around the reptile building is pretty.
Oh yeah, I saw the video you did with your friend that showed the house where the body was found in the plastic tub.😱 The reptile house is so cool, hope it's rehabbed and the one you peaked in must have been so beautiful at one time, love the fireplace. I love water, the tunnel area is so pretty but the graffiti ruins it and people are just foolish to play in it with out thinking it through.🥴 A Low Down Dirty Shame, isn't that a John Waters movie? 😊 Thanks Dan ❤️💫
OMG....my old neighborhood! I used to walk the tunnels as a kid. The part in my neighborhood started off pitch black and small until you reached that area. ❤
I cant imagine living in neighborhoods like this. Like... coming out of your apartment and theres trash, burned out buildings, and sewer rivers. I would be so incredibly disgusted and depressed and stressed out all the time. I dont understand how people can survive like that.
I'm so glad you were kidding about walking in the water Dan 😂 definitely some nasty water. I know those houses were beautiful at one time. That is creepy with the dead body on the front porch. You always have great content Dan. Keep up the good work.
I love watching your videos and imagining what they were like when the place was actually alive, some places u can see the unique character they use to have and were beautiful, now it’s just gross and sad.
I'm early for once!!!!! I'm so excited to watch this!!! I've been having a lot of heart problems recently and you've inspired me to go see the places I've always wanted to see, whether or not I have anyone to go with, while I still can. I'm planning a few solo trips for this spring. Thank you!!!🤍💙🤍
@@DanBellFilmIt I know We definitely would tour around with you. Through the city, Body dumping park of the state, and creepy abandoned places. :D Geez that would be so sweet. And WE LOVE YOU TOO by the way!!! Love your videos, and stories.
GRAFFITI - I watch endless exploration-type vids here on YT. The graffiti I see on these is Endless...no matter how remote the location. Did our youth do nothing but run around with Spray Paint the last 40 or 50 years? No wonder our country is on the verge of ruin. Great Vid, BTW....Thanks.
Wait...how big was that Tupperware?! Or do you mean Rubbermaid? Or was he chopped up and in multiple tupperwares? A tupperware sales lady used to stalk my mother.
"Thus is the house where they found a body..." Me: "uuhhh....yeah. its Baltimore. Theyre usually just on the street. Nothing new..." "....in a tupperware container on the front porch" Me: "ahh....ok. I see."
If you ever see signs of frogs, mink, and otters, then the water is relatively clean. Buy yourself some hip boots, if you can find any that fit big guys. Me, I'm a big gal and anything that would fit me would be some men's size 12 that I'd have to roll the tops over for my height, and wear 2 pairs of thick socks inside.
Dan, this presentation (with Waters film location) reminded me that you have asked viewers if they wanted to see some "nice" parts of Baltimore. May I suggest Guilford? There are fabulous homes, incredible gardens, a Mis van der Rohe masterpiece, and right next to it, a fine old house that used to (and may still) belong to John Waters.
Dave what is the name of the street where 1516 is? This is so freaking awesome. I will get my spouse to take me on this tour tomorrow. I am 57-years old and I have lived here all my life. Stay safer buddy. ❤
Im Glad you did.not Stumble in to that Shit Water. Narrow path. I haven done that shit since I was 14.. Creek swimming ..Dumpy Areas and Shit.. Mischief Boredom Adolescent days🎉
IDK which question to ask. How big was the Tupperware, or how little was the man? At least no one could probably smell him. I mean I still have and use Tupperware my mom gave me lol. She sold it back in the 70s-80s. That's some quality shit. I just can't figure out what product you could fit a man in. Scratching head.........
Good labyrinth reference. If Dan had that friendly monster who hung out with rocks he could have just had a bunch of rocks roll up and walk to the tunnels high and dry
Wow, nasty. I'm guessing Iraq has nicer neighborhoods! It's all about lack of investment and public funding. Would be great if you could post any old footage or photos of the tram or train that once ran along the river.
Dude, I know you have been to a lot of sketchy places before, but I gotta say, if some criminal or addict was down there, it is so possible they would smash you in the head and take whatever you have. No one can see you, its loud because of the water, no one would hear you. I hope you have something on you to defend yourself. Careful.
what the hell is the title of this thing? "film it tunnel of sewage john waters filming location abandoned house"??? What in the hell does that mean? Did Dan Bell not finish middle school? Is he like Tim Pool?
Tupperware parties are just different in Baltimore.
When a storm hits a wave of cups and soda bottles and trash comes raging down in the rapids. It’s wild
Great urban exploration, nice video, thanks Dan!❤❤❤❤

14:11 The fireplace was beautiful!! I bet you it was more beautiful back in the day.
I agree. That's the first thing I noticed was the lovely fireplace.
Lmfao "Urban Whitewater!" Those river rafters always find a way to make things Extreme 💥💩💥
I used to do kayaking and I couldn’t imagine, to go into a 💩 river like this 🤢
Laughing hard about the „urban whitewater“ 😂😂😂
To be fair, the bacteria is pretty extreme.
Yeah what a terrible idea by the city back then.. having the river running through the city would have been the much better move.
Dan has the best videos. Thanks Dan!
0:35 “Regardless, I’m gonna sneeze” made me laugh. 😂
Lots of unsolved murders in those places Dan.
Dan: "lets go explore a wet tunnel"
Also Dan: Wears sneakers 👟
13:29 A new use for Tuppeware! I bet Tuppeware sales went up upon this discovery. This video was funny as heck Dan. Loved it.

Dan, just walk on the water. I've seen you do crazier stuff.
Just checking you to see if you are OK and weren't on the Key Bridge that night.
OMG....my old neighborhood! I used to walk the tunnels as a kid. The part in my neighborhood started off pitch black and small until you reached that area. ❤
7:10 Yeah, that looks like an inviting body of water for kayaking. Just watch for the floating Baby Ruth bars.
Grew up around that area around the park and the falls.
This was fun! That water is horrible 😫
You rock Dan! Love your vids!
Thanks Dan! ❤
I love the history and information that comes with Dan's narrations! It's genuinely informative.
It's a street of dreams Dawn!
I love Female Trouble! "Mable Mable set the table..."
Post something so we know you're alive, you're freakin me out.
I cant imagine living in neighborhoods like this. Like... coming out of your apartment and theres trash, burned out buildings, and sewer rivers. I would be so incredibly disgusted and depressed and stressed out all the time. I dont understand how people can survive like that.
Damn, Sammy's Trattoria is still open! Used to go there with my boss for work.
"The famous tag the trash movement." 😄😄
Excellent video, always glad to see new urbex footage!

An adventure with Dan is like no other 😂 more like a “dirty and dangerous adventure with Dan”

Bless you! Awesome Dan. Always enjoy your video's.
Hi Dan my favorite guy love yah ❤️
Hi John
Hi Dan, please do a video about Baltimore filmmaker Don Dohler 😀 LOVE your videos
Awesome sites Dan. Thank you for sharing with us!
Those boards put up to hold the building remind me of the meme using the Cheeto to lock the door 😂
“Yeah urban whitewater….um its shit water” BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This was spectacular Dan. You’re a master of this format…
Thank you for sharing with us! Love your videos Dan.
DAN...you should charge money to people and be their tour guide of Baltimore. I can see you driving a large van and taking people everywhere. :)
I used
to. I took many people around for the “day with dan” city tour. people came from all over the world.
Awesome. I want to see the catacombs. Was it one of your stops?
@@DanBellFilmIt I know We definitely would tour around with you. Through the city, Body dumping park of the state, and creepy abandoned places. :D Geez that would be so sweet. And WE LOVE YOU TOO by the way!!! Love your videos, and stories.
DAN ARE YOU OK??? 😭 my heart is with Baltimore ❤
People got to ruin everything beautiful.
Idk, seemed move-in ready. Nothing a little vacuuming can’t spruce up ✨
Hopefully, the Tupperware kept him nice and fresh!
Yo Dan! You gonna be live tomorrow?!
yes.
Take all the dam photo's you want!
Have you been to the Horseshoe Falls near there?
That apartment building must've been really nice at one point, a shame it's in such a state.
Always interesting but hard to think you can keep finding new places to show. thx
Are you streaming tonight or tomorrow night? I need a chill Dan stream
Dans exploring locations make me nervous..
Pretty cool! 🏚
God bless you
That looks like a nice place to live
Bless you 🎉
Dan: It's a warm day, it's 73.
Me, a South Texan: Dan, you better take a jacket. You don't wanna catch a cold!
It's 48 degrees here today and I'm out in the garage in shorts and a teeshirt
Dan we waiting for New Leakin Park Videos.😮
Shame on the mess.
Wait...how big was that Tupperware?! Or do you mean Rubbermaid? Or was he chopped up and in multiple tupperwares? A tupperware sales lady used to stalk my mother.
Probably means a rubbermaid.
yes. rubbermaid.
My mom and aunt used to sell Tupperware and Rubbermaid back in the day
Oh good Lord...don't slip !!!!!!
Wow so sad to see what were nice houses, crumbling away !!!
Urban Blightwater more like it
Watching this at 35,000 ft. I'm flying Alaska Airlines, pray for me. 🥶
Dan I’ve loved you long time now. Love the podcast. What are you shooting with these days?
Will you be doing any more another dirty room or have you finished doing them?
“Always wear the wrong shoes”. Who are you, Amberlynn Reid?
sir dan bell is NOT a lolcow
close.
Urban blight water.

Me: "uuhhh....yeah. its Baltimore. Theyre usually just on the street. Nothing new..."
"....in a tupperware container on the front porch"

Those houses use to be occupied at some point i aint know any of them were vacant

It's a shame they're leaving those homes to decay.
This makes me sad . Is Baltimore such a bad city ? Just asking from BC Canada

It would be nice to have money, so I could talk about it! 😂
The house looked better in the movie! It’s way too nice for Trashy Divine in its current state! 😂😂😂
Random thought but you should do another video on Aileen

Hey, his name is spelled "JON Waters"
Oh, I was thinking of the marching band director...
It’s urban dysentery
the man at the start is the pinkest i've ever seen
Up Shitts Creek 😀

Cut into a hundred pieces, placed into 100 tupperwares. All neatly stacked on the porch. Rat proof too, if the old glass ones.
Bog of eternel stench 😂
Good labyrinth reference. If Dan had that friendly monster who hung out with rocks he could have just had a bunch of rocks roll up and walk to the tunnels high and dry
@@christrojak9951 exactly 😂😎👌

Why is everything run down in Baltimore and trash/graffiti?
Gesundheit
Why is that man sitting in grass? In the first 15secs.
aRE YOU?
Baltimore is truly one big sewage tunnel. Why do people even live there?
I knew a guy years ago who loved calling the city a toilet needing flushed lol.

Man that story about the river... faaaar too common... colonialized humans have no idea wtf they are doing
