- How do you deal with a bird you see coming from a long way off and, conversely, 'snap shooting'?

The video is not showing the target very well, but I agree the principles are correct. The only difference with shooting clays in this situation is that clays are slowing in this situation , whereas with driven pheasants the birds are usually accelerating OR are at optimum speed and have set their wings. This affects the amount of lead you need to give the bird. Many people miss these birds because if you can see the bird coming straight on, you may miss behind the bird. You are only in fact giving lead when you can no longer see it.

No doubt he is a good shot .but a gun should close wood to metal not metal to wood .just saying
