I became obsessed with southern biscuits and gravy, which of coarse wrecks my blood sugar. Then it was southern biscuits and tomato gravy which was worse. I had some left over tomato gravy made with bacon, tomatoes, a little flour, and chicken stock, Then I put it over two breakfast sausage patties. Topped with two poached eggs. It's true. I don't know why people think cheese it's not for diabetics. As long as you burn the fat ,you are ok. Having diabetes means exercise on daily basis. So,if you exercise you can surely have some fat 🙂

Nice content but permit me to add a little............................. For individuals with diabetes, a balanced diet rich in nutrient-dense foods can help manage blood sugar levels and overall health. Here are some foods that are generally considered beneficial for diabetic individuals: Non-Starchy Vegetables: Broccoli, leafy greens, bell peppers, cauliflower, and other non-starchy vegetables are low in carbohydrates and calories but high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Lean Protein Sources: Chicken, turkey, fish, tofu, legumes, and low-fat dairy products provide essential protein without significantly affecting blood sugar levels. Whole Grains: Oats, quinoa, brown rice, and whole grain bread or pasta are high in fiber and can be included in moderation to help manage blood sugar levels. Healthy Fats: Avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil contain heart-healthy fats that can help with satiety and overall health. Fruits: Berries, apples, citrus fruits, and other low glycemic index fruits in moderate portions can be part of a balanced diet. Legumes: Beans, lentils, and chickpeas are high in fiber and protein while having a relatively low glycemic index. Dairy Products: Low-fat or non-fat dairy options like Greek yogurt or skim milk provide protein and calcium without excessive amounts of added sugars. Herbs and Spices: Flavoring foods with herbs and spices can add taste without extra salt or sugar. I recommend the book below for more insight: a.co/d/58gWabw

It takes a while to get used to how miniscule diabetic meals are. That woman made two burgers from less than 2 ounces of meat. That's like quarter scale of a normal burger
Why are all these recipes high on oxalates and give you kidney stones? Followed such dietary rules for over a year and needed surgery of 5.5 hours to get rid off a large stone.

If this is the diet that my dietician will give me, then, I'd rather continue to my Raw Vegan diet, which cures diabetes, and not just lower the blood sugar, but heal diabetes, itself!!!!My doctor kept on extracting blood from me for his tests, and these days, he kept on saying: it has been lower, it's because I'm fully raw!!!
it’s a shame this comment has so many likes. A clear misconception and stereotype that’s dangerous to diabetics - yet again. High fat foods (aka cheese and many dairy products) ARE NOT LINKED TO DIABETES. Type1 is an autoimmune disease, aka no amount of healthy foods can prevent your biological makeup giving it to you. Type2 is linked with sugar - NOT CHEESE. It causes your body to be unable to create insulin by spiking your blood glucose, which is mostly caused by carbs. A Keto diet is recommended for most type 2 diabetics. What’s not ideal for pre-diabetes is SUGAR AND CARBS. High fats like cheese is not ideal for CHOLESTEROL. It also not tolerable for many diabetics but it is not a danger food and if you’re not lactose intolerant, is a staple protein for many diabetics.
