Always a joy to listen to Matt, Richard and their guest. Great comments regarding FAC air guns.👍🏻
Thanks Richard. Glad you liked it.
All the best. Mat
Great talk and discussion Mat. REALLY wish we had access to BSA air rifles in the 🇺🇸. Would love to have a BSA Lightning GRT XL SE 22.
So enjoy these podcasts and found this one particularly interesting. Please keep them coming.
On seeing the viewing figures, nearly 2000, I’m saddened to see to date so few ‘likes’ and no comments. So come on folks, do give a bit of support 😁
Another brilliant podcast Mat very informative good to see people like John Hatton from BSA on ,as a life long fan of BSA rifles it was good hear what he had to say on the cold forge hammer system ,would love to see the process like every BSA fan out there which makes their rifles one of the most accurate you will ever shoulder ,have you ever been offered a tour of the factory it would be rite up there on my bucket list but i would imagine they want to keep the secret under lock and key ,keep up the good work Mat thanks for the podcasts well put together keep them coming thanks again Gary
Thanks Gary.

Hello Gentlemen,
Thank you very much for your podcast, I really enjoyed listening to you all and your opinions, as regular, keen air rifle shooters. I thought it was all relevant to me as a proud BSA air rifle owner in 12 ftlb, .177 calibre.
I think it's great to see John and learn that he's a keen air rifle shooter too. For me, their R10 and R12 models are just fantastic. I don't know how they'll improve and continue on what they've already done. They're just fabulous.
With reference to your topic on carbon bottles. I think most people keen on BSA air rifles would like to see carbon bottles as standard. I would think John too. However, he has to make their books balance, so there's a lot more responsibility for him, not just passion and looks.
I'd have loved a Theoben gas ram, like the ones you spoke about when I was younger. If Theoben were still around, I'd have one. However, I didn't fancy a second hand model. Instead, I chose to buy a brand new Weihrauch HW90K. Before Theoben ceased trading, they manufactured all Weihrauch's HW90K's. So, I have the afore mentioned, though look at it as a Theoben gas ram. I like it very much and so glad Weihrauch recently improved their gunstocks. Theoben were two fantastic, innovative gentlemen, way ahead of their time.
The issue with the rabbit breeding season was a heavy heart one, though I thought you all answered the question very well and commonsense has to prevail. Problems have to be addressed in sensible, ethical ways and means. There'll always be do-gooders, those that sit behind the fence, pointing the finger!
Thank you to you all for your time and for a great, interesting watch.
Best wishes, Ian.
Hi Ian.

Can’t seem to find this podcast on the Apple Podcasts app, is there any chance of uploading it there too? Cheers.
Wot about the bsa clx ultra the stock bolt a guy on RUclips sorted that problem
Bsa make some good guns , ive had quite a few over the years but they need to move with the times and make something modern and tactical like agt ,airmaks ,brocock and even fx. A new pcp pistol would be great from bsa aswell 👍
I think there could be well some interesting developments in the pipeline.
Thanks for tuning in. Mat
Thanks Guys: I have an R10 It's fine firing single shot but when I use the Multi Mag it jams. has anyone else had the same issues.
Not a problem I've ever experienced. Have you tried a different magazine?
Thanks for tuning in. Mat
Love bsa .but u can.t get over the issues with reg,s.
I really like Matt and Airgun World videos. I didn't know about the magazine and when I clicked the link to subscribe it said "promotion couldn't be found, please call..."
Well, I tried calling but the call didn't go through. When I call the connection is completely silent. No VM; no beep; nothing! Any help would be appreciated.
I have been told that the offer is not available for print subscriptions outside of the UK. It is still available for digital subscriptions, though. Please try the number again and let us know if you're still having problems.

@@theshootingshow No, I'm in the U.S.
@@theshootingshow This seems to have worked now.
Thank you for your help on this!
This is the thing mat with rabbits. Farmers just want them gone but they dont seem to understand Managing the land.
I think it varies from landowner to landowner. You can't expect anyone with horses or ponies to tolerate rabbits and it must also be very frustrating for farmers who are having crops decimated by large numbers of them. It needs to be judged on a case by case basis - based on the problems being caused and the size of the rabbit population in the locality.

That is not a take down rifle .
Nice to have BSA in on the chat. I'm really disappointed though that BSA are putting stuff out there and obviously not getting their product properly field tested enough before going on general sale. Relying on customers to product test is just going to harm the brand when problems arise. They aren't the only one's doing this but come on BSA, let's get back to releasing a properly tested product. Just because others do it shouldn't be a reason to do the same. Once lost, a reputation is hard to get back and some of these rifles are pretty expensive now. If BSA need a field tester, just tell them to contact me (I'm very local and it will cost them nothing).
