If they're all still there at 20, it wouldn't surprise me if they trade back a few and take Mims so they can come up a few picks in the 2nd and 3rd.
Great pick, can't pass up Fuaga there
Mitchell sounds exactly like Gorge Pickens
I hear a lot of talk about drafting a tackle but I can't see where he would play this year. From a GM perspective, why would I bench a 3 year starter going into his 4th year at left tackle? #1 it would be easier to trade a 4 year starter and get something for him next year than if you bench him in his 4th year. Also, you would hope a 4 year starter, even a mediocre one would constantly be learning and wouldn't cost you as much in his 2nd contract. I just don't think there is a late in the round left tackle in this draft better than Moore day one. And as long as Moore doesn't mouth off to the coaches like okorafor, it's rare that a mediocre guy will be benched when you are talking oline for any team.
Hello everybody
Maybe it's just me, but who is going to snap the ball to our aging and mostly unproven QB? I just don't get it man. Tackle, tackle, tackle is all I've heard this draft season. I get you want to improve on Moore who will be the right tackle I assume, but you have got to have a guy to snap the ball. The Green experiment did not work and the Cold deal who just not good enough.
So, you are telling me to go after a tackle. what about the right tackle from Notre Dame who has not allowed a sack in two years? I don't hear anyone even mentioning him at all.
We have mentioned Blake Fisher a lot. But we’ve also talked about the team being able to get one of these centers in the second round. That’s when Creed Humphrey was drafted.
