Calvin Austin is gonna show out this year! He's like my secret weapon when I'm playing Madden, and would love to see him have a breakout year!!
YES SIR
I told people this ...they keep talking about trade for another top notch wr .but we have calvin
If you listen to people who really know the Steelers, it sounds like CA3 could make WR4. He is not a 2 or a 3.
@@anthonyherrmann860 i really know the Steelers he's a 2/3
I mean people like DK and Matt Williamson. How do you know Calvin Austin
Fautanu is so humble no wonder the veterans and coaches love to coach him up
You know I am feeling good about our Steelers when I first read your headline as the 1st step to New Orleans! So ready for Steelers football!
Steelers don’t need any trade we are building through the draft. Let’s keep it focused and just take advantage when the opportunity arrives.
That hasn’t gotten us any super bowls since how long? TJ and all our stars will be retired by the time that works.
@@spicecreations1416I don’t even know what position that we even need to trade for that ain’t filled.. CB.. I solid. An WR I mean that ain’t gotta worry the ball gonna be on the ground of Pickens an muth an the rookie who is picked 2 be rookie of the yr.. I focus on diet an health.. injuries
@@THRAXXCITY yeah injuries. Pickens goes down, then what? And no a rookie isn’t gonna be able to carry the load nor a bunch of number four receivers. We are not gonna just be able to line up and run on everybody. You will have to put the ball in the air a lot…balance.
@@spicecreations1416no Superbowl but no losing seasons either.
I agree especially Steelers can use that cap money to sign their own,Pickens,Frieremuth, Maybe Harris and eventually one of the QBs for next year.
Gotta love calvin man
Lmao I keep saying it everyday. Ain’t no way they can expect to dominate defenses with GP as the only play maker. That schedule is brutal and they will not dominate every team with the run game.
@bettzburgh8521 Facts ! We need another Top vet receiver (Metcalf, Jefferson or Sutton). GP is NOT enough. A run game only with a sprinkle of passing surely isn't enough, the defenses will est that alive. Art Smith must have something up his sleeve... or at least I HOPE he does..
I like what I'm am hearing from the players let's Goooooo Steelers Nation Stand Up 👆
Love the show CC !! Very excited to hear how Z Azanni handles his business! Lets Go!
Let's go get a wide receiver let's do it Sunday. We will call it a birthday present.
they will get metcalf post june 1st
You said something that I agree with, Jaylen and Najee complimenting each other well. I think the the Steelers should think outside the box and sign both of their RBs and run them both until the wheels fall off. IMO they need each other, and I think the Steelers can set a new standard by winning with their RBs instead of relying on a 100 thousand dollar QB who takes up ALL of their cap money.
Fucking love Fautanu
CAIII will earn a spot on the roster... as a WR IV and a Punt Returner I. I like him, but I have a hard time envisioning him as a II or III. Time will tell though.
Warren is HIM
REPO MAN
✌❤🤘
Chris, could you get an interview with the new strength and conditioning coaches, and talk about how they contribute to a dominant physical offense?
Coaches come a lot less often and those types of coaches are rarely available. But I will keep that in mind. I do believe we will get assistant coaches in the next couple of weeks.
Unrelated comment: Life-long Steelers fan (grew-up during the dynasty years) and as much as I respect Tomlin and the traditions, the novelty of brothers on the team and winning seasons without a playoff win isn't getting it done for me. The Steelers have the money and opportunity to build a championship caliber team. Omar has been doing a great job, but Mr. Rooney needs to make whatever adjustments to get this organization, top to bottom focused on bringing Lombardi(s) home.
House and land sold for 31M Bought it 9 yrs ago for 6.7M
I hope that I am wrong and CA3 can be a good #3 but I doubt it
What’s with Justin’s hand why’s he got it wrapped?
CHRIS can you please put the microphone close to your mouth when you ask questions
I'm excited for all the changes, but I still wish they kept Diontae. I was happy with the CBs they had, JPJ, Trice, Rush, Watts, they have some young, tall, rangy guys there, and I'm not sure how much better Jackson really could be. If they kept Diontae, along with the draft they just had, there wouldn't be much concern at all.
I see them trading for a true #1
Pickens could get there eventually. And stop with the CA3. He is a #4
What would you suggest they use for trade bait? Landing a #1 isn't just a snap your fingers and make it happen kind of thing. To get good, you've got to give up good. So, it's probably why they haven't already made that trade. Then of course there's also the salary cap... everybody wants to get paid.
Calvin Austin was underutilized. He could be Tyreke Hill like or even Wes Welker like. He scored when targeted including the playoffs. They gotta get him involved especially as a safety valve. He'd become a problem for teams immediately.
Agreed
You are ridiculous. Trying to compare one of the best active wide receivers to a number for receiver on the Steelers who's done nothing
@@anthonyherrmann860 Not a comparison. We're talking about how to use him. Small, quick receivers can be a great asset when used underneath coverage. Austin is a threat to take it to the house every time. Welker, Edelman, and many others have proven how this philosophy works. Don't be close-minded.
I don't think the comparison is far-fetched, really....Tyreek was not drafted high( 5th round, I believe) Calvin was drafted in the 4th, not a lot of expectations. Tyreek's speed was utilized which gave him stardom and I feel like Austin could be used the same way.

Steelers need to stop playing around Trade for Burks or Sutton
I want METCALF He's tall, fast, strong, and a great route runner 🏈
Kahn and all these deals spoiling y’all. We don’t do business like this typically. Build through the draft. Give Austin and Wilson a chance
@@GeeDee-yj7yd Dude No Austin is 5'7 and 170 it's so easy to Jam him at the Line of Scrimmage Same with Roman
So how many avatar WR corps do u c in the league GP is our avatar
Dang man… Chris stays dry snitching on the rookies. Last year it was Broderick. This year Fautanu. 😒
