For the 2019 event, the Dakar’s traditional set-up has once again been overhauled. Continuing its Peruvian adventure, the Dakar rally is offering a dense set of obstacles and promises to be a new kind of epic! The brave individuals who have already experienced the Peruvian sands have made no mistake, and will once again form the biggest bivouac camp in the world of cross country, near to Pisco and Arequipa in particular. The intense challenge they face will push them to their limits in getting over dunes, navigation and physical strength: in the dunes, one kilometre is equivalent to two or even three kilometres elsewhere.

Really nice footage! I am Dutch and my all time favorite is Jan de rooy!! He invented truck rally raid. In my opinion... I hope we can have some nice battles between kamaz.. and the other teams. the kamaz team are like the Ferrari in f1!! The Dutch are amateur racers.... but without kamaz it would get boring... when you can beat kamaz you can be proud....
It is amazing what these massive trucks are capable of doing rally raid/cross country racing. Congratulations to all of the Trucks class drivers and teams- let alone the outright Trucks winning team.

@@PRshik Right, I didn't think of it, but offroad russia/siberia is indeed a good test for any vehicle. Also don't worry, as a french guy I'll never-ever-ever take the russian military lightly.

Sand dunes are special....magical....unforgiving....and home to very unique animals. I love them....during the winter please.
