I've been watching your recent videos and past experiences such as Domenica. I really appreciate your method of storytelling and sharing of your thoughts. It's quite a different experience to other RUclipsrs who believe they must document their journey with daily updates. I realise you must discard hours of video to give us this well chosen edit of interesting experiences.
Thank you soulpower for your keen interest. That's very comforting to hear! I reckon that 90 seconds of finished video needs an eight hour working day. Quite weird actually. But ok so far for me. I would not be capable to make one video per week. That would be a full time job and no more sailing...
From Tasmania. You are inspiration my friend. I love sailing. I have a Duncanson 29. I have spent time on and around the Bass and the south of the mainland. I am a Kiwi and my wife a German from Flensburg. I am a carpenter by trade I but was a paramedic for many years. I am seriously considering buying a bigger vessel and sailing around the world. I am struggling with PTSD butI find myself longing for the ocean more and more. I don't have much contact with many people. I don't want to stay in this rut. Anyway thanks. I might meet you one day. My last name is Bones. PS. Please buy a bottle of caster oil and betadine for your Travels. God bless you mate.
Thank you shane. All the best for your considerations about buying a larger boat and sailing longer passages. It can be lonely on an ocean. But I think it's inspirational as well.
@@SailingAloneAcrossTheOcean thank you. At the moment I'm not on any great voyages like you. I'm just showing of the Norwegian coast. But I'm sure enjoying myself.
Have a great sail! In your next video please give us your toughts on sailing solo - the freedom and solitude. How it feels. I wonder about that. Thanks.
Hi ,, when you went to Tahiti for 3 days,, weren’t you worried about your boat? I would be so scared to leave the boat. By the way your vids are great,,cheers mate

Glad you were feeling better at end of video….hard enough to be sick alone on shore never mind on a boat alone. Take good care.

Thanks for your great videos - really authentic stuff. Keep it up. Where are you going next?
Tomorrow I'll start from Bora Bora to Penrhyn, Northern Cook Islands. Approximately six days on sea.

I am thinking about that. Something like: Ten questions you always wanted to ask solo sailors
Anda adalah Petualang sejati 👍
Thank you Erol!

Yes I was worried. But the weatherforecast predicted stable winds and the holding was good. I didn't had much choices here.
How's that eating free fruit off the side of the road, working out?
It was a local who gave it to me. Me as foreigner I would have been more reluctant and would have bought it. Maybe I got my infection from that.
