- Installing the 6"x 9" Rockford Fosgate Prime R169X2 in front door and rear deck with simple modifications. This is a follow up of my previous video. I chose this speaker because of the design features ( tweeter location and crossover built in) along with the future possibilities of adding a 4ch amp .I still have to do some mods to the rear deck- slight trimming. I just was pressed for time on this day.I chose this music because it is "Ear Friendly".
KEM is the artist . Promise To Love is the Album.
Sounds good without an amp just needed to adjust the EQ
Thanks. This car is always a work in progress. To bad RUclips really doesn't show off the true sound experience. That's unless you start buying a $600 or $700 camera. Lol
Damn those sound good. Camera picks up well too. Good job
Thanks. Subscribe and catch the next video. I will be matching the system with a Rockford Fosgate amp and subwoofer. A lot of audio places try to get you to buy more expensive products that you will never turn up that high. I stay true to what I know is right for me. Music over noise.
wjency3 I have a Rockford p300-12 sealed enclosure and p-165 si miss and highs. Sub hits good but not quite low enough. Looking to get the p3-1x12 enclosure
That is the amplified enclosure right? I side with the separate amp and a ported enclosure setup for more power/output myself. I have one 10" and people think it is a 12".
wjency3 yup. 12 inch sealed at 300 watts. Makes my rear view mirror move and face the roof. I want a p500.1 amp with a p3d2-12. Idk if I’d do a sealed box or ported but I have also looked at a ported 10
thanks for the video
No problem. I'm glad to be of help. I planned everything out before jumping into it. I am pleased with my choice in brand (new videos posted ). I hope you have fun with your system.
Nice video bro, and damn good car speaker choice to upgrade from factory speakers. I am rocking the (T-line) in my Silverado with no sub and they kick. I have a question, for your door speakers, did you have to purchase a door mounting bracket to mount the (6X9's) or did you fabricate them?
Thanks for tuning in. The T series bangs. In the previous video I modified the factory speaker mount in the doors. There was no bracket needed.
Thanks for your quick response, I know it must have been labor intensive because I modified the original speaker housings to accept my speakers, You did a nice clean job, I thought yours came with the bracket. Post some more videos once you complete your installs......
@@MrJamesgrate I have . It's all to keep the appearance of stock. I did a sound demo video.
Love those 6x9 rockforts. I just bought them for my car. For the subs MTX all day
💪👍 first song name please, it's beautiful

I almost bought that myself. You can check out Crutchfield online. They have tons of videos and articles that can help you decide. Let me know if you have a RUclips channel. I'll check it out.
I'm thinking about getting these to replace some pioneers i just blew, do you find them to be bassier than stock?
I did my homework on these. They play very well. This is with the understanding of highs, mids, and mid bass. Stock can't compare. I still only run them off a pioneer head unit. There is a video that gave a good example. I'll look for it and drop the link.
These are the 6x8 but 6x9 would just be better. ruclips.net/video/Atsdh9VhbK0/видео.html
