This remind me of our famous soup recipe '' Ash Reshte '' , it's with bean, chickpeas and lentils, and we use turmeric almost in everything😀. I need to try this soup, looks so delish.

Thanks Jemissa! I’ve actually just made some turmeric purée, where I’ve blended fresh with oil. Just be careful over feeding the boys with too much beans! You’ll get a lot of trumpy bums! 😳😂

Using water to saute is a pretty good idea I may try it out I'm smiling all along I just made an Indian Curry with fresh turmeric and my hands are still stained I don't care about my stained fingers but the nails look awful...the lentil soup looks super nutritious and delicious thank you for sharing

They serve lentil soup before meal at many restaurants in the Middle East. And beans with rice.. My kids love it so I started making it at home as well.
