Love the video! I think the go pro footage looked great! Couldn't really see much grain at the end so no worries! Also that mall is beautiful, you should definitely do a tour of it one day.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I guess I'm just too cynical over my own footage haha. But okay I think it'll come next on the list. It'll be a fun video for sure
Yes I love them! And that's awesome. I can't wait to get out of my general area to explore what else is out there. When business slows down in the spring, I might take a week off and Shinkansen to Tokyo
Thanks for the support! Sorry for the late response. Work has been busy. I'll definitely be back to make videos again, I just need my financial situation to get a little better haha
Thanks for the tour Frankie. I haven't been in a game store like that in years. Stores like that need to have a sign about recording and what their rules are for that so people know 👍🆒🎮 I'd love to have Subway I haven't had any in years
Have you been to Japan before? And yeaup they do. I went back a few days ago, they added new gigantic signs at the entrance about no photos. I must've made them get up and do that 🤣
@@frankieinjapan Yeah I've been to Japan before just in the Narita airport going somewhere else I don't know if you can really consider that being in Japan but I do live just 4 hours away from Japan so I might visit sometime take care 👍
What is the vintage comic book market like in Japan? As a huge comic collector ive always been curious if there is a market for them in Japan like the video games. Super neat content Frankie! I really enjoy watching these trips!
Honestly I'm not too sure. The book section in these types of stores are usually gigantic, so I don't usually spend time in them. I'll take a look for curiosity next time I do a run, but I figure there's gotta be tons of comics in these sections (asides from manga). Thanks for the support. I appreciate it
Hey man! I came from your giveaway and been watching your videos as much as I can but haven't been able to due to issues o3o Anyways these videos are amazing! I love how these stores look and what they provide especially the inbox consoles that is insane my only retro find that was insane to me was a 65 dollar n64 that was dirty only had gemini and the joystick on the controller was loose lol Even then it's fun to go around in local thrift stores for me even though it's rare to find anything I hope you had a good year man keep up the great content! As no way Beatmania controller at 6:37 been wanting one need to look more into it
If you buy video games in Japan that they also sell in the US, do they only come in Japanese or are there English versions too? For instance with Pokémon games
Unfortunately there old games are all language locked. Some NA games offer other languages, but Japan has always been really stupid with omitting other languages from their products. Thankfully most switch games have multiple languages though
Haha yea no doubt 🤣 and yea I'm not too impressed with it. It's fixed focus and doesn't produce any depth of field effect, where as my phone focuses at many depths.
@@frankieinjapan I can understand that part easy. PC gamers love their FOV sliders so i can understand how the depth of view could be frustrating also.
the sunset looked nice
editing Frankie was wild
Thank you I appreciate it :) and yea it was a beautiful evening for sure
Hi Frankie and Lea. Good to see ya

The first two stores are so cool and colorful, filled with so many games!
Reminds me of the Otakara Soko stores we have in Nagoya!

Rewathing waiting for a new hunt video!

5:04 "For some reason Japan really loves collecting animals and bugs".
Thank God they do because that's how Pokemon was created. Gotta catch 'em all!
Good point 🤣

Where in Japan is this manga warehouse located at?
It's in Okayama city, about 30 minutes walk from Bizen Nichiichi station
Would love to see yugioh cards in your videos
Alright I'll keep that in mind :)
That first store knew you were coming so they hid all the gameboy stuff on you. The go pro footage was ok imo.
