some real nice welds, how come you didn't just use a top mount intercooler of a subie if you go in deep scrub and it busts the cooler then it game over
Jarryn Smith Thanks mate, cause TMICs just get heat soaked to the shit. It''s pretty well protected, rather that get damaged than the rad 😉 If something goes through your rad, that'd be more detrimental haha
Jarryn Smith I haven't been in it off road yet. but Reece has done a bit of beach driving with a bit of offroading I think and it went well. They're solid! With more fuel pump capacity these would be perfect
Excuse me bro I have a question I bought a beautiful old 1989 hj60 a month ago I've hade 3 mechanics go over it and it's passed with flying results she's got 435,000km on her the old 2h still sounds and drives awesome everyone I have seen reckon this one will do over a million km if I keep looking after her there's no rust anywhere on body or underneath and I want to turbo the old girl I know I don't absolutely have to rebuild the motor but do you think it would be wise to do so I don't want to go crazy spending 15g to rebuild and turbo the motor but I will if its all most essential
Hey mate, definitely don't need to rebuild the engine. These things are bullet proof. Just regular oil changes and occasional rocker adjustment and they'll go forever. As long as you keep EGTs in check you don't have much to worry about.
König Hansen The one on the left is the AC compressor and the one next to it is an air compressor which I believe is an AC compressor modified to be for air
Honestly didn't keep tabs on how much. Could definitely do it cheaper, this was a more higher end build with alot of custom fab n lot of top quality products
this is definatly the next mighty car mods.. aussie az keep it up
Just went and got myself a 1989 GXL and using this series as a guide, cheers fellas
Sam Thorsen Nice man, glad it is of assistance 😏
Great work fellas! Loved the inter cooler rock, funniest thing I've seen in a while. Hope Marty and Moog see that one. Hahaha
Keep up the good work
Callum Prior Hahaha it was asking me to shred it! 😋
this series has my full attention
LocktoLock Awesome man, glad to hear 😊

Boosted & Built Garage does it go good in the bush I've always wanted to put a gt45 on a 4L diesel and big head studs lots of fuel and careful tuning
