There's a law against driving a vehicle barefoot. I'm surprised you didn't stumble onto that one. 😂
Round 2, cuz yuh not suppose to drive bareback either, lol
I agree with that, barefoot driving is dangerous especially when the pedals have no rubber on them.
Barebacked as well!
Yh boi true talk no lies
I know that one
I was aware of the law that prohibits horn blowing between 9pm and 5:30am; it was actually part of the multiple-choice test for obtaining a learner's permit. It's not weird or eh. It is essential for people to be considerate and refrain from honking their horns during those hours since others could be sleeping etc.
So true, it is also illegal to blow your horn in the vicinity of the hospitals and the cities "I think" 😕
That’s true, but it’s weird that it has to be a law and not just common courtesy
@@TrinbagoVibes It has to be a law because people don't have common courtesy.
@@shackielamelville722 unfortunately this may be true
I was aware of the law, but always thought that you could only blow it with "just cause" as in preventing an acciden,t if someone is pulling out in front of you without looking etc.
Police an license officers watching this video 👀👀
Lol, most definitely
They can use it as a training video. LOL
Ways well home boy put up everybody 😂😂😂😂
👀
I wish we had a law narrating the prohibition of fortune telling here in my country, cause them people like to scam the folks, oh and the law prohibiting the washing of your vehicle on the street outside you house is definitely a Weird one. Love the vibes them, greetings from Suriname!
Thanks and big up 🇸🇷 and yeah I thought so too when I came across it, peeps can’t wash or repair their car
You don't need a law against fortune-telling. You need a law against stupidity
we need a part 2
Lol, one of these days will do a part 2
Do it now! It'll be awesome.
Wow! You can do 10 more videos like this. We do not know our laws including me. Thanks for the education as usual. Loved the skit! Rodey level laughter
I feel honored with that “Rodey level” 🙏🏽 and yeah I plan to do some more in the future
Ironically if a person is charged for begging in public, if truly broke/ the person is poor, how do they expect the person to pay the fine
I’m assuming they will get free housing and meals for the next 3 months in the confines of a cell
For real

Nice one, Rajeev. A very out-of-the-box topic, brilliantly done with another genius video edit offering that sets you many bars above the rest! 💯💥💫👍
Always appreciate the feedback bro 🙏🏽
"Me, Myself and Rajeev", coming soon to a theater near you.
Excellent content bro. Keep up the good work. Always take in your videos. Lookig forward to part II!
Much appreciated bro 🙏🏽
We need more videos like this! Thanks for sharing
Thanks Deborah, working on a volume 2 so no worries
I like your vibes. Looking forward to hearing more😊
Thank you 🙏🏽
Nice video. Very interesting didn't know about some of these weird laws. Eh!! Great job 👏 love watching your videos. 💯👍⭐️
Thanks Indra 🙏🏽
Keep posting great work 👍
Thank you 🙏🏽
Best vid Raj. Good info
Thanks cous 🙏🏽
This is a really interesting angle! Love and appreciate it! EHHHHHHHHHH @ that Princes Town one. Big up half my hometown one time! Lol
Lol, yup
Part 2 my brother good work
Thanks 🙏🏽
This is a real nice video Rajeev.
The kite law is the weirdest or should I say the "eh-est" of them all for me
Lol, most definitely the “eh-est” 🤣🤣 glad you enjoyed it
Most police officers nowadays probably don't even know about these laws. xD
My car's fanbelt snapped while on the road and I managed to drive the rest of the way to a parts place and change the belt on the roadside.
Now, I'd understand not allowing someone to change shock absorbers, brakes, oil change, etc on the roadside, but I believe that changing a flat tyre is also a similar repair.
lol, yup
Thanks for info!!!
You’re most welcome
Good content!❤
Thanks
good day epic video Lots Love and blessings
Thanks Angela
Love your new hair cut💯
Thank you 🙏🏽
yuh vids is de bess
Thank you 🙏🏽
The kite one made me laugh!!
🤣😅 mission accomplished 😁
Isn't flying your kite a euphemism for doing something else that you shouldn't be doing in public?
Great video 👏👏👏
Much appreciated 🙏🏽
Sleeping in public is also a weird one. It goes with the loitering act. Anyways, big up brother, love your work. My kids find your videos fun and very informative. Im a former ASJA student as well.
Big up my fellow ASJA man 🙌🏽🙌🏽 and I didn’t know about sleeping, will have to throw that in part 2, lol and I’m glad they enjoy it and most importantly learn from them as well
@@TrinbagoVibes - Stepping on a hat is also illegal.
I love this video. Very informative . We grew up flying kite all over, i never knew it was illegal other than the places you mention. That will get an EH.
Lol, exactly
@@TrinbagoVibes The kites might be signal to UFOs. LMAO
i totally agree with horn law after certain hours, the fine should be increased and include loud music in vehicles, for sure
Most definitely, it should be extended for loud music as well
Thanks for sharing
You’re most welcome
Please continue this series
Lol, stay tuned…will do a part 2 sometime in the future
Another Great One Trinbago Thanks
Thank you
6:23 kinda funny when you turn on local TV and they advertise being able to contact the dead through someone 💀
🤣🤣🤣
Hi I like your channel
Much appreciated 🙏🏽
Awesome video hats off to you by the way no wonder kids theses days hooked on their phones no kites or rolling rims 😢
Lol, well kite flying does come out around Easter time, but yeah
How you does come up with these vids mih boy??? I glad to know and will definitely share. Ppl need to know.
I’ve a book with ideas and plans, since inception of the channel, lol, some I ad-hoc, others require some planning
@@TrinbagoVibes keep up the good work. Btw... I see they updated the drone regs. No higher than 100 ft for some. You might have to do another one on that topic
@@ADiaz-sf5bl yeah I was thinking about it, especially as they change up some of the importation procedures as well
We really need to do something about some of these laws boy.
Yup
I wonder y so much pages for the mongoose. Eh laws, I guess they had a purpose back in the day. Really nice vid
Yup, in the description has a link to the mongoose act if you wanna check it out in its entirety 😁
They are destructive to birds, insects, snakes, fruits etc
I could understand reason for some of the las eccept.....hanging clothes on the fencing, and the mongoose law......nice video very informative.....elsasoobrattee....Trinidad.
Yeah after you ponder on a few for awhile, you could understand the reasoning, but some of them rel outdated in my opinion
The mongoose law was made because it is not a native species to Trinidad. People started importing it from India to control pests and snakes, but the mongoose started targeting the chickens. The law was made to stop people from bringing more. It was too late as the species was already set loose in the wild.
@@kronic66 - The mongoose was specifically for controlling snakes 🐍
Very interesting, I did know quite a few of those and I might be weird, LOL, because I agree with ALL of them, including the hoop rolling (dangerous) and the kite flying: Some people will leave their kites tied up, making noise all night long disturbing others’ sleep. I’ve found that the beach is one of the most enjoyable places to fly a kite. And NO, unless you live in the deep country and have no neighbours, no hanging clothes on the wall or fence! In fact, in most condo buildings in many countries I have found that it’s against the rules to even hang your towel or swimsuit on the balcony guardrail. Imagine if everybody hung something outside, the building would look like a slum.
Lol, that’s most logical
I assume those laws were brought in by the British during colonial times, It's time we throw them all out with the exception of wearing camouflage clothing.
Hello Rajeev it's been awhile since I've commented but I don't miss a video. Great video as always.
Much appreciated Maria and yeah it’s time to get rid of some of these colonial laws
Thanks for this info #loveindehouse
Your welcome bro and always one love
O gosh i really enjoy this videö .😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
#10 is also a law in Jamaica, it is illegal to wear camouflage.
Ohh, I wonder if it’s the same for all our Caribbean peeps
@@TrinbagoVibes It is the same for a number of Caribbean territories like Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, St Lucia, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
@@TrinbagoVibes It's also illegal in Saint Lucia to wear camo. It's a stupid law
@@BondJamesBond... feels like a Caribbean thing from colonial days
Love this video and 🇹🇹
Thanks
Repairing vehicles on the road can be dangerous and it also blocks the road that’s already narrow. I see kites flying close to airports in Tobago that’s dangerous for airplanes and airport security driving around to find the individuals. They need to understand how dangerous it is.
Indeed, especially kite flying near the airports and as you rightfully stated, fixing cars on the road is unnecessary traffic
They are all ehh and weird for me.
That's why I love my 🇯🇲 so much. We are more free, but I might not like your laws, but I loveee your ascent. I just always love to hear when you guys talk, I could sit and listen all day.
Lol and ihu, much appreciated Violet and I love y’all accent as well, you know is one love in d Caribbean, doh mind it may have fellow Caribbean peeps who does occasionally beef
I love the skits ahaha really funny 😂😂😂 10/10. $200 TT interesting
Thanks and yeah it is
The department needs money to buy doubles.
Camouflage...you can be arrested...if you remember a few years ago, a Canadian was passing through from Guyana and was imprisoned
Ohh, well that’s unfortunate, I know they give a stern warning or make you strip, but I’ve never heard about being imprisoned or at least I don’t recall that
Very interesting I only knew about the last one 😂😅😂😅
Yup, that’s the more popular everyone knows, the others they don’t really enforce, lol
The one with the mongoose I real laugh when I hear that 😂
Yeah Jed, apparently they rel bad for the environment and they can wipe out birds, snakes and fruits
#10 also applies in Barbados as well.
I figured some of these will be similar across the Caribbean due to colonial times
Hey breds... definitely some head scratchers on this one. LOL
Most definitely bro
*2. (1) In this Act-*
*"ammunition" means•*
(a) ammunition for any firearm of any kind;
(b) every shell, cartridge case, bomb, hand grenade, *bullet or like missile, whether containing any explosive or gas or chemical or not, and whether intended to be discharged from or by any gun or other propelling or releasing instrument or mechanism or not,* except missiles which can be used only for the purpose of extinguishing fires;
(c) *every part of* any such shell, cartridge case, bomb, hand grenade, *bullet or missile,* whether such shell, cartridge case, bomb, hand grenade, *bullet or missile may have been completely formed at any time or not;*
Can a nail or rivet be fired from a *gun or other propelling or releasing instrument or mechanism* ?
I think they can.
Are nails and rivets *missile like* ?
They look so to me.
So can a person be charged for having nails and/or rivets?
Probably 🤷🏼♂️
I once heard that dictators make everything illegal, so any time they want you, they can charge you for simply being.
Just let that simmer a bit 🤔💭
You’ll have to consult a lawyer for that nail interpretation, as for the dictatorship, that’s a good food for thought
I couldn't agree more bro
Thanks 🙏🏽
#6 FORTUNE TELLING... Somebody should tell the Vene that!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 good one
Not the Venezuela 🇻🇪 you getting mixed up I am from St Augustine when you go to tuna Pura San Juan port of Spain, you will see a lot of people from India, who always asked to read your your hands and yes, we have local Indians here, but I am talking about the subcontinent India they speak English but with an accent so you know
Nice video
Thanks
0:03 I gotchu hommie
lol
I love this horn law. I wish barbados had it. It is only weird that they didn't include Loud Music, TBH. EDIT I love the Kite LAW!! people in barbados Fly them over people house very inconsiderate.
Ohhh, I’m surprised they don’t have that one in BIM
thank you
You’re welcome
Holy Lord a fellow Trinidadian youtuber? I'm not alone after all
Lol, there is a good bit of locals on the platform
1:20 nah i rell shocked by that. $200!?!?For begging😭🤣The government honestly just want a cut of that money🥲🤣🤣
Yeah, I was like how you can charge someone who don’t have money, even more money, and this has been in place since 1921
If a citizen lives near to a large savannah, like Aranquez savannah. Is it still illegal? I could understand, because of the power lines. But there are savannahs large enough. If they said no flying in residential areas, I would understand.
Yeah the law needs an update
Laws I had no idea we had
lol, I didn’t know either until I started doing some research
The flying kite law is the weirdess one
Yup, it needs to be amended
I think we have many laws that no longer make sense.
A spent cartrige is considered ammunition.
Almost everything is a dangerous weapon.
You need a lic. to import and operate a radio transmitter of any frequency or power.
We still have laws concerning signal/flag men for trains.
You need a lic. to transport alcohol by the case.
The BoS has to inspect and approve used vehicle tyres and batteries.
The list goes on and on.
BTW how is camouflage resembling the protective forces defined because it is interpreted as all camo wearing of any colour which is ridiculous.
I agree and definitely that interpretation is a mess for camo
@@TrinbagoVibes - The camouflage law has been redefined. Only those used by the protective services are banned.

SOOOOOOOOO ALL IF NOT MOST OF THE LAWS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO ARE LIKE THE DINOSAURAS THEY NEED TO BE REVAMPED AND LAWS ARENT UPHELD SO ITS AT WHAT END IF MY CARD SHUTDOWN AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD ONCE YUH COULD MOVE IT TO THE SIDE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT
Well a few of these, yeah
I'm surprised you didn't know about the horn one. It is, or at least when I went for my license, part of the regulations. 🤔
Yeah I don’t recall reading about it in the regulations manual 🙈
Which police paying attention to any man fixing or repairing any car on the public road? 🤔🤔🤔
Thankfully none, but yuh never know
#8 and #9 are the EH? For me. I've seen ppl wearing camouflage within the passed months.
lol, that’s cuz they taking a chance but if they come across the pow pow while wearing camo, it’s a whole different story
Nice knowing bro 😂😂😂
Lol, yup
law #5 i heard abt this one already
Lol, yup
Why you broke all the laws brother.😂
Big ups from jamrock🇯🇲
For educational purposes only, lol, big up my Caribbean brother 🙌🏽🙌🏽🇯🇲
Excellent content.. again there are no consequences....mostly....
Lol, yup
Crazy that the view count is almost with the sun count that’s a real win in my book 0:37
Pretty much all of these laws are "Eh?" in terms of weirdness, except for 2
The reasoning behind the Car horn one is to simply not to disturb people at night, between 9 to 5:30 is when most people are sleeping so I dont think anyone wants to be woken up at that time for no reason.
And as for the Camo, it makes sense, not neccesarily for authority, but rather people of the Armed Forces, they wouldnt want any civilians "wearing" their uniform.
That’s true, especially with the car horn and the camo…the mongoose one really caught me off-guard
During a riot, if the armed forces are called out to patrol and protect, someone could be injured by accident.
@@shqa574 only the president can call out the armed forces, otherwise police and swat will have to handle
@TrinbagoVibes In the 1970 riots, the army and police had a shootout at Chaguaramas... the old American Naval base. That was a tense day.
Do you know the name and pattern of the camo? Citizens must learn to know this.
Please Trinidad 🇹🇹 Government needs to do better and stop the stupid laws
Well, I think they have bigger problems to sort out first, like flooding and potholes
Trinidad will likely copy stupid US laws because they watch too much of our TV
Ooog big up urself Trini in the house
Boom! As a fellow RUclipsr says, it’s always love in d house
It have some places in the world you cannot spit on the ground, believe it or not blood clath, from Bellrose NY
Ohhh, it would be interesting to read up on some weird laws around the world
I’m a trini and you are at the botanical gardens
lol, Yup
Where I live it have ah man livin in ah ole food cart on de side of de road opposite de police station entrance wen de man wash he clothes he hang it up on ah wire tied to a street pole seems like de police don't no that at all
lol, well you know how things does work in this country, and yeah you are right in that it may have officers who may not know the laws as well
tell them chinese restaurant with dey fortune cookies lol
Lol
You cannot wear or import camouflage in 🇰🇳St.Kitts and Nevis either
Colonial laws right through oui
Camo is also illegal in St.Lucia
Yeah, it’s possibly illegal in all Caribbean islands
That's what u was fliming in st clair yesterday
Lol, yup..I thought I’d go to one of the less busy streets without much houses and thing, but I was mistaken on the “less busy”
@@TrinbagoVibes I was wondering why there was no traffic.
Rajeev I wonder if these laws were made pre or post independence. Pre independence would make sense as the Brits would like to keep the colonists in check. To maintain most of these laws post Independence makes no sense at all ! Just my two cents 😂
They were pre-independence, some of the acts would have been amended post independence, but it wouldn’t have been most of these…you can check the links in the description for the various acts but yeah I had to label this weird laws, lol
Do the citizens or Minister of National Security know the name of the camouflage pattern our Regiment wears? And how it is similar. They don't. All camouflage have different patterns, there is no such thing as "resembling". It is either same or different. I'm a retired soldier of the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment.
The patterns/colors don’t matter from what I understand, once it resembles something like the those worn by the regiment I guess
@@TrinbagoVibes It's eitter "same" or "different" in a situation like this. There is no resemblance. The government is not being advised accordingly. Military units have "different" patterns camouflage to blend with their conutry's terrain. That means, different shades of green and brown. "Same" means identical. US, Canada, England, Trinidad wear "different" camouflage pattern. They don't resemble. If you were in the military you would understand. The key word is "pattern", i.e. "the design". Civilians are confused by that..
@@karelphillips3483I hear what you saying
👍
Same rule for #10in St. Lucia and nope no Camouflage same thing her Do not drive barefoot also.
Looks like us here in the Caribbean has similar laws
So, no "Sly Mongoose''.........🤣🤣
lol, yup
A lot of these laws was introduced after slavery and was there to oppress
Yup, during our colonial times and they haven’t been amended to date, then again the only one they really enforce is the camo one
Police watching taking notes
lol, true that
The one about killing pigeon is it still law
I’ve no idea, will look into it for round 2
It is illegal to kill pigeon also
I’m not sure
i want them to bring a law the allows you to disregard any stupid commands from stupid police officers, that don't know their arse from their elbow.
If only, but that can open a Pandora’s box
Beeping your horn after 9.30pm is the weirdest
Lol, guess they don’t want to disturb the peace so to speak
Unless the public really wants it, it will never change.
That’s true, it’s how democracy works I guess
Planes…
Must of these I see people do already lol
Lol, yup
Hanging clothes on fences and walls should be enforced! Do da is ah yeh
lol, unfortunately they don’t make much charging peeps for these
where im from there r no laws 😎
Ohhh, unless you’re caught or it’s total chaos?
@@TrinbagoVibes straight anarchy 😂😂
