    Glad you'll soon have christine to do the job.
    But I recommend to watch some grading videos first so you learn how to do it perfect.
    I was blown away when I learned how important the blade angles in every direction are and how to proceed from ditch to ditch,
    to get the best results and to mix the gravel perfect.

    I hate nobs with negative comments but bit of advice try not to pressure wash your radiator as it bends the thin fins and can make it worse 👍

    Thanks for all the work on close-ups - your videos are very informative! What's causing that hydraulic cooler radiator to corrode so severely?

    • @DieselCreek
      @DieselCreek  4 года назад +4

      Moisture, it’s steel vs radiators being aluminum or some other low corrosion material. The debris getting stuck in it holds the moisture In there and it just rusts

  • @GenderSkins
    @GenderSkins 3 года назад

    Might not hurt to take the radiator out, and take it down and have it checked out to see if you have any other issues going on Matt. As a radiator rebuild is a lot cheaper then an engine rebuild.

    Morning. In the UK we use a fine mesh or filter medium in front of the coils. This is mainly for air conditioning. As we get a lot of leaves and pine needles. Would this work for the bobcat?

    You sure you are a Pennsylvania Boy, never seen a Pa. boy drive that slow on a good dirt road like that before, but the rest of your show I like, now I found some other guy who fixes stuff like you do, he wears some classy looking pants, only difference is when he takes something apart he cleans it, and shines it up before he puts it back in. Sort of reminds me of my dad, who was always yelling at me, you took them parts off, now clean em back up before you reinstall them again. Then when I got done cleaning them up and went to re-install them he said boy, you going to put those parts back on that dirty area get your butt cleaning that area. Good Old Dad, miss him.

    Watch Andrew Camarata video about replacing Bobcat drive unit. You are best off selling the Bobcat and getting an ICI or Takeuchi.

    • @DieselCreek
      @DieselCreek  2 года назад +1

      IHI is Takeuchi with a different paint job….. The machine itself is a good machine I don’t care what Andrew says. The only reason I switched is because the newer ones made by doosan ARE junk and my dealer is terrible and they act like they are too good to help me every time I go in for a part. They all break but for what this one has been through it’s held up remarkably well. I’ve run tons of them

    • @glenpaul3606
      @glenpaul3606 2 года назад

      @@DieselCreek Well that's a shame that Doosan stuff is not good. No wonder Andrew is always after older machines. Having a good dealer is important. Ever see a real Pennsyltuckian drive that slow on a dirt road. Love the show though, especially the ones on that old church, but just think when he gets it done, he can become a minister and we all can go to church there. I am trying to figure out where that church is, I know I seen it before in my travels. Just can't put my finger on the area. Three shows I love, the slow driver, the guy with the fancy pants, and the guy that says that is just fine. So now when I am working on something and it goes wrong, I say that is just fine, and when a bolt won't turn I get a bigger hammer, or pipe and when I really am in trouble, well the fanciest work pants I have are dickies, so I put those on and put a big hammer (besides mine) in the hammer holder.
