Great videos very informative. When I changed my interior lights to LED I left the glovebox bulb as standard as I read many people had problems with glovebox after full led conversion. The fix I found was to leave one standard bulb in loop so I chose glovebox bulb as not really bothered about led in there and reduces chances of frequent fuse blowouts.
I spend like 2 hours trying to figure it out so I was like you what? I guarantee you someone is having the same issue as me. So let me make a separate video. So I’m glad this was helpful. Thanks for watching.
Thanks, I was about to rip the thing open with a crowbar!!... Never noticed the button before... Bit of a cave man I guess... Cheers for the vid Mate!!
Listen I took me so darn long to figure this out. So I said there is no reason I’m just the only. So that’s why I decided to make video. I am glad it help.
Unfortunetly NOPE. so what I did is: when the fused poped. I took out the light then after that I put the fused back in then it was fine. but if you put the LED in the Incorrrect directions there is a big change it might pope the fuse again. So what I would do is put the LED bulbs on then put the Fuse on.
Th first thing you wanna check is to see if you got any lights on the dash. Then check the fuses the car has 3 fuse box’ one on the right side one in the trunk and I think the third one is either under the hood or on the front left
@@CarStomItthank you for the replay. All the lights are working, it’s just this 3 thing do work or don’t work, but always together. I can’t use Ac, it’s only blowing hot air, can’t open the glove box and can’t open the trunk, or whey all working fine, it’s nor one at the time, it’s all 3.
@@StubbornMedved then definetly. what year is your Car? I think this sounds like either a use or a Relay. there is a book in the back of the truck check to see witch one of them is the Relay/fuse and double check they are not blown.
There is another fuse that might cause the issue. I can’t remember what fuse I this. Check in the back of the car and the interior fuse lights fuse is good too
when I tried to do the lights in my car the fuse pop twice. the first time is when I was trying to put it in and the polarity where reverse. so I changed the directions of the lights the the light work for 1 second then the fused blue. again. depending on the X% model the fuse should either be under the globe box on next to the side pillar or it in the trunk where the battery is . so Please check both locations. but the most optimal options is under the globe box next to the footwell. I think it is fuse # 10. let me know if that help.
@@CarStomIt thanks for the reply. i have a 2010 bmw x6 e71 model. it happened when I wanted to replace the light with an LED light but then it didn't work and neither did my glove box. I'm going to replace the fuse and let you know if it worked.
That is how mine started as well. I replaced all the lights to LED and when I went to do the Glove box and same thing happen to me so I decided that I need to make a separate video on this issue because it took me a few hours to figured it out. and I have a X5 E70. I mean my friend does. lol
It clicks ,tries to open but it doesnt . I pulll the string yet nothing. Youcan hear the noise it tries to open itself but it fail like the latch has stuck and dorsnt allow it to open

Thank you brother
You are welcome.
Do you have a video which show how to put in the led light in glove box without fuse blowing?

thanks you very much.
Thanks!!
No problem!
What if your AC, glove box and trunk stop working at the same time? Is this a fuse or the module itself? Thank you.

Good job 👍 ❤️

No problem
i'm facing the same issue but is not the fuse and there is no click sound when I press the button.

@@CarStomIt Ok thanks.
Those car are so sensitive. Wow
Yes they are. If you are not careful you can easy blow a fuse.
if you change the fuse the light goes
will work again because my light is not working.

I guess the changed it from Car to car. and I have also heard it might be different depending on the trim that you purchase. Is it working for you?
It clicks ,tries to open but it doesnt . I pulll the string yet nothing. Youcan hear the noise it tries to open itself but it fail like the latch has stuck and dorsnt allow it to open
This is what mine was doing check the fuse first then. Check to see when it clicked if you can pops it open with a trim removal tool
