It's been another fantastic year chopping it up with you guys. This year featured a good number of new albums from the likes of Drake, Common, Kendrick, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, Death Grips, Kanye West, and many many more. TJ Hastie surprised you didn't put splendor and misery there, I thought it was way better than wriggle which is also still great.
The point of Wriggle was to put out a project that is more normal to the clipping fan, and they were having fun, so as they had written this stuff, and recorded, they wanted to release it. Splendor & Misery is a Totally different animal though. They are both brilliant, but really they could have very different fan circles.

BIMMOM fuck yeah, that's my favourite rap album of the year, and I don't listen to that many other genres besides rap, but it's up there for my album of the year, not sure tho, it's between Blank Face & Awaken my love. Plus I still need to listen to Blonde lol

I barely noticed onry ozzborn sadistik and atmosphere. Bruh we got the same taste. ATCQ still the best album this year. Imperial by Denzel Curry was definitely the surprise of the year for me

Honestly I was gravitating more so of a combination of a Feefo and a bit of Myke. So shit that bumped, but also had a weird eclectic edge to it as well.

Romy Taylor Suns Tirade is overrated IMO, it drags on really long and gets boring, I love 80% of Blank Face but the rest is filler and drags the project down for me, and DWTW was closest to it but had a couple tracks with lacklustre production and 1 or 2 songs with kinda corny lyrics. I personally think UU is the best album TDE dropped this year, I know a lot of people put it down for being just demos but call it what you want, I still think it's amazing music

LennyKing OFFICIAL I heard it a month after it dropped because people were saying it was trash but I loved it. It fell off toward the end but Psycho, Strive, and Beautiful people were good enough to get it in my top 10. I liked it more than Cozy Tapes too.

The best part about doing Best Of The Year lists are all the comments from people shocked that no one read their list. Happens every year. You'd think, by now, you guys would kinda get the picture. But nope...
The only thing that kinda annoys me with these lists are that some projects weren't reviewed during the year, if someone thought it was good enough to put on a year end list it should of perhaps been reviewed

Johnny Kearey That's a valid complaint. Although we've said 100 times we can't review everything. And that has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the project. It has to do with time. But all the shit on my list was either reviewed on the show or on my personal channel.

I agree with AFK - Still Brazy literally took you and placed you in the west coast! As someone from the UK I felt like I was right there in LA throughout the whole album G! And that's what I expect from a top album - to engage the listener fully throughout the journey of the project, and whatever time I put it on! I think YG (and schoolboy Q) accomplished this better than lets say KA for instance where I just lost focus. Still great work as always guys -appreciate y'all!

Drevon mcAllister ShutYoMouth I gotta be honest I thought it was a bit disappointing. I would give it a light 8, which is still good, but I was expecting something extremely good. I just thought some tracks were boring and it didn't seem like the percussion was hard hitting enough. On RTJ2, the banger beats hit harder overall.

If you watched the review, Ken felt a little underwhelmed by it, Myke liked it but had some issues with it, Beezy thought it was alright, and Feefo liked it.

TotalyKill Wasn't amazed by it at first listen. Second listen, I loved it all the way through that it made its way into my top ten.
TotalyKill I actually didn't really like the skits, threw the album off for me honestly. It just seemed like it was trying to explain something with little depth

I get it's dead end "hip hop". But you guys didn't have to just do your top 10 hip hop albums I wouldn't care if you just did your favorite albums list (no genre exclusion). Unless you guys are doing a separate list because a lot of good soul/r&b albums came out this year. Tbh my top two aren't even rap albums and I mostly listen to rap, that's how good I though the other genres were.

Nick Flinstone so? Even though Myke did a hip hop list there are still people I won't listen to on there. He just has a different taste than me period. And because he does have a different taste I still would've liked to hear a list that wasnt constrained by genre. And I'm not even talking about him especially since he is already doing another list. I'm just saying like in the instance of ken. They also reviewed other genres besides hip hop so by excluding them even though they reviewed them was disappointing. Like they did frank and gambino and I would've liked to know where they would put those on a list but because it's hip hop I'll never know. Which I was just disappointed by. No harm, I just don't know why they limited themeselves to hip hop even though they didn't for their reviews.

I am curious to see Ken's list outside of rap and I have no clue what type of music Feefo likes outside of hip hop besides The Weeknd. So I agree I would like to hear it, but just on a separate video so I still get my hip hop fix lol

I didn't listen to alot of albums this year either but I did listen to Ka - Honor Killed the Samurai, and I kept going back to that.
