And one another relative of ours, it's a funny scenario, in their wedding in dahej they got a polo, aur yeh gaon dehaat ke log hain they didn't knew aggressiveness of the vehicle. So they were driving quite rashly and somewhere in deep layer of sand which was put kacha road they just turned it extremely sharply..so it turned turtle upside down 😄 and then they came out of the vehicle again unscratched they themselves got vehicle on wheels aur chup chaap araam se ghar aagaye😂. Hats off for the initiative! The most important point is how an unstable frame can be a 5-star safety feature and manufacturers are never penalized for their efforts on side impacts, as side impacts are also important. Every customer should ask the manufacturer about the safety rating of the model they are planning to buy. When this question is raised, then every model will be tested, not just the top-end ones.

    Dzire ko 5 stars milne ke baad lagta hai ke bahut se youtubers ki jal rahi hai.
    Why are they questioning GNCAP now? When Tata (so called Desh ka Loha) was getting 5 stars, and Maruti 0 they were all OK.
    Ask Carguru was the only channel who questioned GNCAP from the start. I will only watch him from now onwards. Rest all channels can go to ****

    I agree with a few points and disagree with a few -GNCAP should specify whether it is sponsored, they should also use an adult dummy for the rear passenger, and they should subtract points for an unstable structure. But, I think it is correct to deduct points if your frontal stability is not good, as too high points for side stability will increase stars and can give you a false picture when your car is too bad in a frontal impact, which I think is more important. But anyway, thanks for this video.

    • @autoyogiofficial
      @autoyogiofficial  Месяц назад +3

      Bhai I personally don’t agree with GNCAP deducting a whole star if they find the side of the car stronger. How about appreciating that and scoring accordingly so that a manufacturer focuses on both frontal and side protection.

    Hi Vikas,This video is truly an eye-opener! I’ve had similar questions about these 5-star ratings. While the tests are conducted at 64 km/h, what happens if I’m driving within the speed limit but another vehicle overspeeds? Would it still save my life? Additionally, the variations based on models, such as top variants versus base variants, were points I was unclear about, but you’ve done an excellent job addressing them. I really appreciate your initiative to raise awareness on this topic.
    Keep up the great work!🎉

    ❤❤Very detailed video, which I generally want to see after Dzire got 5 star. If anyone calls me some fanboy or no, but I got some doubt regarding crash test. First is if Dzire got 5 star rating, then why Suzuki is not advertising in their commercial or even in print media. None of them are showing that. Do they really got 5 star or some people says like it is for international version, not an Indian version, if it is True. Second my question is in many videos we have seen that due to A, B or C pillars Tata cars do pretty well while major accident. Anyone can see and imagine the thickness of all pillars, but if we see same thing in Dzire, I do not see much improvement. So as a general car user, can it still behave in terms of cabin safety or bodyshell intact except engine? And third point which I see about body roll, i don't know if the car can be trustworthy when you are going 100-120 kmph on highway? Can we get this stability same as in all 5 star rated cars. This is major issue because even Alto can run 110+, but only point you trust is if you apply brakes at that speed how the car should behave. I know my comment is lengthy, but I think it is too detailed observation by me, and I will wait for your comments on that also. And Suzuki lovers don't give gaali😂, I have both brand cars and I know both cars positives and negatives very well.

    There must be a 100 point system with a set weightage for all the safety measures. Ranking of all the rated cars must be published based on this score. Also, the scores should be revised after every couple of years based on the latest security standards so that a car rated 95 in 2022 be scored again basis 2025 safety features to keep the rating updated.
    The government should give incentives/monetary benefits(tax cut) to manufacturers for submitting the base model of their car to get tested by GNCAP(or any other standard organization).
    A part of this monetary benefit paid by govt to manufacturers should be paid as a fee to GNCAP to keep up the operational costs.
