Gncap keeps testing cars like spresso wagon r ignis which were already tested before and cant complete new norms still they test it ..... despite not picking cars which completes the norms .....also never tested again cars like tiago punch also altroz which also not completes the norms.....and mentioned on their website that you need to sponsor car for getting 5 star...how can you trust an private organisation which is based in an part of europe

Mileage will reduce when cars become safer and stronger because of weight. So, they reduce the engine weight by giving 3 cylinder engines. Then you have reduced drive quality as vibration, noise increase. It is a trade off, you can't eat the cake and have it too.
First of all, it was a great podcast where we all agreed on various aspects of our nation regarding mobility. It was pointed out that Sir CV Raman had a philosophy called Maruti. which focuses on cost-effectiveness and affordability, often resulting in compromising safety measures. There was a slight pause of Sir CV Raman with some inhibition when he asked "Why are you not comfortable with Global NCPA? Although Sir is right too people do not understand what is safety holistically.

Safety is important, but pov of cv raman about how one class of people will move from bicycle to two to 4 wheelers is accurate.. our per capita income is actually is low compared to other developed countries. Which all of us have to understand. This is why maruti sales is good in economical cars. They provide you the mode of transportation not for racing a car on the road.
I agree with what Raman sir said like if the driver is maintaining all the safety parameters while driving(like sir mentioned) but suddenly another car lost control on the same road and hit the maruti car. Then does their car provide enough safety for the passenger and driver inside. -- I guess not. if govt allow to exchange only engine to old vehicle (who did not showing rust ,broken structure )than old car owner does not to pay full cost of a car ....scrap waste management also work efficiently ..to scrap a complete car only need to scrap to car engine only ... co2 also reduce if companies selling engines #ICNVikasYogi & #GaganChoudhary🙏

No it's not correct..at one time they are saying customer need and types are different..so customer ask will also be diff..not all people are dumb so thr are few people who understand rules and safety..why can't you answer them
One thing I can say is that he was putting the onus on the customer to what safety means to you, an indirect way of saying as long as customers buying unsafe cars we are fine with it, anyway, you should have mentioned the seatbelt annoying sound which Maruti have put forth in their new cars, Maruti directly saying wear seat belt you will not need safe and hard platform, A Cv raman in backward.😅

I purchased alto k10 top model in 2012 and kept it for 11 years. At that time i did not bought it because of cheap car but because of local auto expert suggested me that. But later when i noticed that same car model coming with airbag in europe but not in my top model car, it Left very bad impression of how maruti leader don't care at all on safety on for indian consumer. when searching car in 2023, i removed maruti brand from my list before visiting showroom because core mindset is wrong of maruti. Sir if you get chance please my feedback to maruti leaders, hope this feedback will help them.
We welcome new safety measures but can do another step towards safety is to make new cars run under mentioned road speed limit via Internet & make this mandatory. So that no car goes beyond speed limit in any case. Secondly need to mandate ADAS for the safety of pedestrians & two wheelers.
