Safety is paramount, Also maruti needs to have some differentiation across their offerings, e.g. u cant have the same steering for 10 lac car and 23 lac car
Mileage will reduce when cars become safer and stronger because of weight. So, they reduce the engine weight by giving 3 cylinder engines. Then you have reduced drive quality as vibration, noise increase. It is a trade off, you can't eat the cake and have it too.

Which all of us have to understand. This is why maruti sales is good in economical cars. They provide you the mode of transportation not for racing a car on the road.

I agree with what Raman sir said like if the driver is maintaining all the safety parameters while driving(like sir mentioned) but suddenly another car lost control on the same road and hit the maruti car. Then does their car provide enough safety for the passenger and driver inside. -- I guess not. Pranam Sir I am very much fond of Maruti Udyug which as per constitional amendments the policies framed in such a way the ethics andmoral values changed and sumhow the future became Suzuki in today’s world Sashank Srivastav playing a major role in automobile sector,Sir to be very honest being a. The single big problem is the lack of availability of bs6 diesel, which is a big headache with bs6 diesel cars ,unless this problem is totally solved , purchasing a latest bs6 diesel car is risk

Basic structural safety is the need of the hour at least not ADAS. In the country where two wheelers, rickshaw and cattle come on the road and highway, structural integrity is very important. Other things that car manufacturers should do is provide both side rearview mirrors even is most basic models and the same tyre size not 1 inch shorter.

Please ask why only 1-2 Maruti cars are sent for crash tests and when we will see safer cars with atleast 3 stars on ncap overall for the whole range offered.
Also, why the interior offered on the 10 lac car is same as in 20L + car.
Bachche, whoever sponsors the crash test of Ncap, they get better stars.

Basic structural safety is the need of the hour at least not ADAS. In the country where two wheelers, rickshaw and cattle come on the road and highway, structural integrity is very important. Other things that car manufacturers should do is provide both side rearview mirrors even is most basic models and the same tyre size not 1 inch shorter.
