Takeru is a real good fighter of kick boxing fight. He has many experiences and techniques. Therefore he can knocked down Thant Zin in the second round and finally win. However, l am very proud for Thant Zin because although this match is the first match of his kick boxing fight , he can knocked down Takeru in the first round. So I respect both fighters. l am waiting the next match of Takeru vs Rodtang from Myanmar. 🇲🇲🇲🇲🇲🇲
Thant Zin has the typical lethwei athletic, tough, punch heavy attack. He will need more than that to win at the higher level. He needs to use his brain, his fight IQ and employ leg kicks, head kicks, good knees as well. he needs to set attacks up more. good first showing from the kid though!!!
Anyway, one is the former kickboxing champion, and the other is young and has no experience in kickboxing. So, I impressed Thant Zin and his decision to fight with Japanese Legend.😊

Burmese fighters are too much relying on toughness. On the technically wise it's not that good yet. Heavily depending on hand strike but lacking in knees and leg kicks. This is more like first generation of flat fighting style and hope they can evolve and level up in next five-ten years. Btw, I am Burmese and want them to do better.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. I'm from Myanmar 🇲🇲 and Lethwei really need to be modernised with advanced techniques. Now most of the burmese lethwei pro players have high durablity and low fighting techniques compared to Muay Thai. Becasue of the Country's economy and education and current situations it's hard to be improved not only in Lethwei, but also in other fields.
That is because of kickboxing match. He is lethwei fighter and he can defeat Muai Thai fighter under Muai Thai rules. Kickboxing has different rules than muai Thai. If you think Tekaru is well rounded fighter let me see those two fighters in lethwei ring. Everyone has upper hand at their professional sport.

I thought Tekaru was going to lose as he was knock down in the first round but he is really strong and come back in second round. Thant zin also has proven his capability in his first kick boxing match by knocking down the great fighter like Tekaru in first round. Both are strong and good fighter. Good match.

The class and experience of Takeru won him this fight. He needs to really shore up his defense and learn to cut angles when he's on the back foot. He's and offensive powerhouse, but the very elite will expose those defensive liabilities every time. The way he overwhelmed and destroyed Thant Zin at the end was vintage Takeru tho. So fun to watch.
