It's not the managers job tho. Any time police are needed the manager has to contact one of the store directors and get permission to call the police first or they get fired for disrupting the store. Corporate does not care about crime, they have insurance for that.

I have a daughter that works part time at CVS in Cali. as a side gig. They're not allowed to even report shoplifting to ANYONE, even management. It's beyond stupid.
