You can legally store it in the trunk, or the bed of a truck, but it is illegal for it to be in the cabin of a vehicle. Exceptions to this are segmented vehicles such as limos.

I am objectively analyzing the video. And my judgment, the girl is innocent. The girl was just sitting in her car, for 4 hours. Which the Police was clocking her. But she was doing nothing. She wasn’t driving, but she probably was asleep in her car. That is not a crime. Let’s say, the girl was drunk and there was a bottle of liquor. These Officers really haven’t gave any real reason to investigate or to arrest. Only on speculation. The Officers only justification is an empty bottle. The girl can either lie or maybe the bottle was empty for months. The Officers never actually seen the girl drink any liquor. Unless, the police try to coherently in taking the breath test. Then she can kissed her Rights away. Whether she is drunk or not drunk. The officers only should have a wellness check. Whether she had shoes on or empty bottles of liquor. But if the Officer smelled liquor, they have the right to asked for breath test. According to the video. The Officers never mentioned in smelling alcohol, only sleeping or parked for 4 hours. It does tilt into her favor, and it does can cross into Racism. And she did not needed to be arrested for sitting in her Car, whether she was listening to music or not.
