I was 11 years old the year we got this only PlayStation and also the year that it came out in the United States and because of this, it's absolutely nostalgia for me!!!! So many great memories that today I struggle to play anything new and just this past month the lawn have been playing mostly PS1 common Nintendo 64 and GBA games that I missed out on .. (and a good deal of them that I played back then but are just so good. I'm still playing them again today?!) 🎉
I'm happy you mentioned One, Treasures of the Deep, the Colony War series, G Police, and others, but I'm sursprised you didn't mention, Uprising X. Check it if you haven't. Great game
The PS1, Sega, Saturn, and in 64 generation of gaming was the best in my opinion because during that time we got so many new and cutting edge experiences the lakes of which we had never seen before! Developers took great risks to throw whatever at the wall and see what's stuck in terms of game development! Nowadays, indie developers are the only ones that do that but back in the day the big three back then all had unique and amazing experiences that made you just have to go out and buy that console! To this day, I always wished I had a sick of Saturn, but thankfully because of emulation I get to play at all today
I was 12 when I got a PlayStation which was towards the end of its lifespan but I really miss those days. There hasn’t anywhere near as much ambition and originality before or since. That’s why great games flew under the radar. There were so many you just couldn’t get to them all. I’m not almost 39 and I just found out the game Disruptor existed like a month ago. I would’ve loved that back then and I love it now. RIP gaming. It’s garbage now and there aren’t any signs of it getting better
Just because a game was critically acclaimed 25 years ago, doesn't mean everybody knows about/talks about it today. Alot of potential viewers weren't even alive when these games were released.
Sorry but my childhood nostalgia is the NES. I’m one month older than the Atari 2600. Doesn’t mean the PS1 isn’t a good console and I do like some PS1 games.
I was specifically waiting for Omega Boost and was not let down.
This list is amazing, tooooons of great gems

thanks for the trip down memory lane, when I saw several games that I had forgotten but I enjoyed back then was a nice moment to have.
